Chapter 1935: I’ll Live

The Gno did not know how Grey who he felt was within an arms length suddenly seed so far away. He hurriedly swung his spear around, hoping to stop Grey from coming close.

Holding his head with one hand, the Gno felt like his head was about to explode from the pain he was feeling after receiving Grey’s punch. Even his vision beca blurry from the pain.

Gritting his teeth, he tapped into his life essence, targeting Grey, he lunged out. He could tell escaping was out of the picture, since that was the case, then he would kill the one who made it impossible for him to escape.

Sensing a life-threatening aura coming from the Gno, Grey knew the Gno was about to use his strongest technique to take him down. Looking down at the injury on his chest, he frowned. His space domain could give others the illusion that he was close by yet so far and vice versa. He secretly employed it just as his initial punch was about to land on the Gno’s chest, to his surprise, the Gno did not sense the difference until it was too late. He attributed the Gno’s negligence to his weakened state of mind which is normal after suffering to such a level.

The Gno’s figure expanded with veins popping up on his hand grabbing the spear, he thrust the spear forward, stabbing over a hundred tis in the space of a second.

Grey dodged the attacks in a flustered state, barely able to keep up with the speed of the stabs from the Gno. When the Gno stopped his hand movent, a series of cut marks appeared on Grey’s body, his appearance cutting a sorry figure.

The Gno did not stop after this attack, the black mist beca thicker when it appeared this ti, enveloping only Grey.

Covered by the mist, Grey did not panic, knowing this was the Gno’s way of pinpointing his location. The Gno’s spear continued to stab out, with occasional implosion from space wherever the spear stabbed in the mist.

Grey did not expect the spear to have the power to even affect space, adding the danger of the space tears and the spear coming from unconventional angles, he felt pressured as he dealt with the attacks.

The attacks did not continue for more than a few seconds before the strong auras Grey sensed approaching arrived. As soon as the auras arrived, the Gno was unable to continue his attacks as he tried to retreat.

“Do you think you can run with us here now?” A cold voice asked the escaping Gno.

Another cold harrumph also sounded into Grey’s ear, and by the ti he ca out from the mist, he saw the figure of the escaping Gno crashing to the ground. He was not even able to put up any fight against the two figures who just arrived. They were both Peak Sovereigns, people the Gno would only be able to fight one on one when he was in full strength, in his current state, one of them is enough to deal with him, much less the two at the sa ti.

Filled with despair and anguish, he turned his hate-filled gaze to Grey, gnashing his remaining teeth so hard that his mouth started to bleed again.

The two Peak Sovereigns did not care where the Gno’s gaze was directed to, all they wanted was his death. This expedition was not what they expected, losing a few of their companions in the process; if they had not co with enough Half God Plane experts, they would have all been wiped out.

Grey went back to et up with Chris who had his hand over Klaus’ shoulder. He rushed over and asked, “Teacher, how is your condition?”

“I’ve been worse, I’ll live.” Chris replied, panting in-between his words.

Grey turned to Klaus, seeing that he was in pristine condition. It was almost like he did not engage in this battle. Taking a look at his appearance, he shook his head with a wry smile. The Gno’s final spear attack cut him up in different parts of his body, even his face had cut marks. Taking out one of the best healing tonics he had with him, he downed its content, passing one to his Teacher as well before looking for a spot to take a sit and recuperate. The two Peak Sovereigns still gave chase after killing the Peak Gno Grey delayed.

Grey could faintly sense the aura of a Peak Sovereign Gno a few kiloters from here, only he did not dare to go help out in his current condition. He had been engaged in battle since they engaged the Gnos and he had suffered from a variety of injuries during the fight, especially against the two Peak Sovereign Gnos he exchanged blows with. The Old Gno cracked a few of his ribs, while the last Gno he fought caused a lot of surface level injuries. The cuts from the Gno’s spear were deadly, and he could sense that the places cut with the spear had faint signs of poisoning.
