Chapter 1945: Asking For Help II
The young Gno’s mind was racing how he could deal with the rumored nesis of the Gno Race, he had already brought out his Puppet, not just that, he also felt the link being severed. His body was currently in place, unable to make any movent.
Klaus appeared before the Gno with a single step, crossing a distance of fifteen ters like it was nothing, he looked at the Gno with a smile before patting him on the shoulder. The Gno Race’s small stature always makes them look like kids whenever a Human is standing close to them. The action of Klaus patting him on the shoulder was like that of an elder brother consoling their younger sibling.
The other Gnos did not understand why the Gno could not react. Everything happened within a second and even though they could tell that Klaus was strong, the few Gnos around the Fifth and Sixth stage could tell Klaus and the Gno were both Seventh stage Sovereign, and there was also the Puppet that stood there like a statue.
The distraction in the Gno’s eyes faded away as he regained his clarity, dread filled his eyes as he wanted to retreat only to find out his legs were frozen to the ground. He raised his head only to see a mocking grin on Klaus’s face.
“You said you’ll make sure I stay alive as long as possible to make sure I feel myself slowly turning into a Puppet, correct?” Klaus looked at the Puppet, poking it playfully and said, “Experience what it feels like to slowly turn into an ice sculpture.”
The Gno shivered, his breath visibly turning cold in the presence of everyone.
If the First stage Gno losing a hand without being able to react frightened the Gnos, watching soone who is seen as the strongest Gnos in their midst slowly turning into an ice sculpture without even being able to even struggle freaked them out and filled them with dread and despair.
The question in each of their heads now is; how could they fight against this?
They did not know how the first Gno lost his hand, and now even this Gno did not make a single move before he slowly started to lose his life.
“Once the Elders co out you’re all dead! ” A Lady Gno who did not lose her wits about her spoke up.
When the Gnos heard about the Elders, their dim eyes started to glow once again.
“Which Elders? Those six guys inside?” Klaus raised a brow and asked casually.
“Since you know they’re inside, stop whatever you’re doing to him and maybe you will keep your head.” The Lady Gno threatened. She knew how strong this young Gno was, if even he did not stand a chance against this freak, none of them could, except for the Elders. This was the reason she brought them up.
“Oh, would you like to et them now, or are you going to wait?” Klaus suddenly asked.
His question caught the Gno by surprise and she unconsciously nodded her head; of course she wanted to et the Elders now. The only thing she did not understand was why Klaus was the one asking the question.
Klaus sighed, “If you had been patient, you would have at least lived longer than this fool.’
Saying this, he pointed his index finger at the Lady Gno, and a thin ice needle appeared, before anyone could even get a proper look at it, the needle vanished. Looking in the direction Klaus pointed, everyone saw that the Lady Gno had turned into a complete ice sculpture.
“What?!” Exclamations rang out among the Gnos. They did not think a Fourth stage Sovereign would die just like that. The Lady Gno was not even able to resist once again, making it three tis the Humans have made a move that they were unable to react.
The Gno Klaus patted was still in the process of completely turning into an ice sculpture, already frozen to his waist, yet the Lady Gno’s freezing process was almost instantaneous. This was clear proof that Klaus was purposely making the Gno experience the torture of turning frozen. The Gno was already pale from the cold, but for so reason, he was still perfectly alive.
Klaus made sure the Gno could not speak or scream, only the sound of his teeth clattering ca out from his mouth.
The Gnos all sucked in a deep breath as they watched the events unfold, it has not even been more than two minutes or so since these Humans arrived yet two people were basically dead, another seriously wounded, and their Elders have still not co out of the already collapsed mountain. There are only two reasons the Elders did not co out, either they were helping the Senior, which was highly unlikely, or they were dead. At the mont, they were leaning towards the latter rather than the forr. Just from the shockwaves alone, the Seventh stage Sovereigns knew there was no way an Eighth stage Sovereign would be able to survive and they would only get in the way of the Senior if they stayed close.
‘Could it be the Human scum that attacked the Senior killed them first?’ The Gnos thought.
Klaus was about to continue playing around with them when Grey suddenly said with visible distress, “Teacher just contacted , there’s trouble on his end.”
Klaus’s playful smile disappeared when he heard this, his father was with his Uncle, Chris. During their last eting, he was inford that his father was not able to restore his cultivation, which ant he was basically a normal person at this point. Even the shockwaves from Sages fighting might be able to kill him, much less Sovereigns. His mood changed in an instant and the Gno he was standing close to exploded into bits of ice pieces.
The sudden change shocked the Gnos, their emotions in turmoil. They wanted to run, yet they could not as the Senior was probably watching from above.
