Chapter 1954: You Talk Too Much

The Gnos around the area were aghast at the sudden death of so of their top experts. They did not even see when the newcors arrived, only after they had killed off seven people did they notice them. Who were these people? How did they get this close unnoticed?

Different questions rose in the heads of the Gnos accompanied by doubt. This was a battle they felt they had already won as most of their opponents were seriously wounded. If not for the guy covered in golden light interrupting them from ti to ti, they would have already killed most of these people already.

With everyone’s attention turning to the four people who just arrived, they did not notice the several Peak Sovereigns who charged into battle as well. It was only after three other Ninth stage Sovereigns were killed did they co to their senses.

‘This is bad! We have to escape!’

Their numbers advantage had been practically wiped out in the space of a few seconds. Not just that, they also knew if they did not escape in ti, they too would end up dead.

Just as they were about to escape, a Peak Sovereign Gno scolded coldly, “What are you all gawking at? Kill them before they kill any more people!”

The death of the Peak Sovereigns and Ninth stage Sovereign Gnos made the weaker Gnos feel despair, with escape being the only thought in their heads. Hearing the voice of the Peak Sovereign Gno, they cald down and reassessed the situation. Yes, so of their experts were dead. Nevertheless, they still had more people. Coupled with the fact that they had Puppets as well, they had nothing to fear.

They were about to attack when a voice ca from a distance, “Keep your Puppets, Grey Dawson is here.”

The mont this na was ntioned, the pupils of most of the Gnos contracted. This was a na that was quite infamous in the Gno World. According to their information, Grey Dawson is sohow able to cut off their connections to their Puppets. They all knew of the price placed on Grey’s head. Realizing that we’re in the presence of the person they dreaded the most, so Gnos felt dispirited. anwhile, the eyes of a few shone brilliantly. This was their chance to rise to the top. As long as they could kill Grey Dawson, they would be generously rewarded by the Emperor himself!

Grey did not expect the Gnos to recognize him from the get-go, luckily they had already killed off the four strongest Peak Sovereigns.

The two Half God Plane experts looked at Grey and one of them said, “No matter what happens, don’t die.”

The Half God Plane Gno warning the other Gnos about Grey already showed how wary they were of him. This made the Half God Plane experts take Grey’s safety even more seriously. As soone who could not only restrain the Gnos but also put them in serious danger, his value to the Human Race was currently second to none. To these Half God Plane experts, Grey’s value to the Human Race was second to none even though he was only in the Eighth stage of the Sovereign Plane.

Grey did not need to respond, he naturally had no plans of dying here, especially when there were no Half God Plane Gnos trying to kill him. From a rough count, he could tell the Gnos still had the advantage in terms of Peak Sovereigns, having eight more. This is even after the Peak Sovereigns that ca with them. It could not be helped, the Gnos generally had more experts and for so reason, it was relatively easier for them to produce Peak Sovereigns compared to the Human Race.

A golden figure flashed over to Grey’s side, “You made it in ti.”

Grey turned to his Teacher who was bleeding from different parts of his body, a sign of the vicious battle, “Sorry we took so long.”

Chris waved his hand, gesturing it was fine. As the Teacher and Student duo t up, three Peak Sovereign Gnos surrounded the duo.

The four Peak Sovereigns fighting with the dead Peak Sovereign Gnos did not allow the three Gnos to have their way, blocking their paths.

“We will deal with them, you two help the others.” One of the Peak Sovereigns said, a Lady who looked to be in her late twenties. As she said this, her gaze landed on Grey for a while, averting her gaze when she noticed his eyes.

Grey felt odd from the stare the Lady gave him, he wanted to ask his Teacher who the Lady was, only to push it aside for now. They still had to help others. Losing those four Peak Sovereign Gnos distabilized the Gnos, only for a short mont. The words of the Half God Plane Gnos brought them back to their senses, and recalling they still had the number advantage reinvigorated them.

The three Peak Sovereign Gnos who surrounded Grey and his Teacher frowned at the sight of the four Peak Sovereigns. These four were difficult to deal with, hence the reason the strongest Gnos at the Peak handled them. Now that they were free, things would be a little difficult.

One of the Gnos snorted, “Worry about your own safety first.”

The Lady did not bother to reply, pointing her slender finger at the Gno, a chilling aura ca from her body.

As soon as the Gno saw this, his expression turned solemn. He had seen this Lady in action, and she was one of the few Humans here that he felt a sense of threat from. Knowing he could not take this attack lightly, he did not dare to be lax.

Grey and his Teacher did not stick around to see the outco of the fight. There was no point in them staying there, besides, their help was needed elsewhere.

Chris did not need to give Grey any instructions, turning into a golden streak of light, he flew in a particular direction of the battlefield, intercepting the attack of a Ninth stage Sovereign Gno who wanted to take the life of an Eighth stage Sovereign.

Grey did not aim for the Gnos, in this battlefield, there were a few Necromancers present. He hated the Gnos, and absolutely loathes Necromancers. If he was asked who he hated the most between Necromancers and Gnos, the answer will always be Necromancers. He still did not forget how he was hunted down by Necromancers during his initial stay in the Aurora Continent. The Necromancer saw Void’s shocking elental grade and wanted him for himself, realizing he could not kill Grey, he used his life force to place a mark on Grey that stayed a long period. To a certain extent, if not for that mark, Grey would have never studied Necromancy, and would have never developed this amazing ability to cut off their connections to their Puppets.

That Necromancer would have never imagined that the young man he seemingly gave a death mark not only survived, he also beca the greatest bane to Necromancers and Gnos.

The Necromancer Grey picked was an Eighth stage Sovereign. Seeing Grey coming his way, the eyes of the Necromancer darted around, clearly wary of him.

Arriving in front of the Necromancer, Grey looked at him in disgust, making the Necromancer show a look of anger. Since his identity was exposed, he was getting looks like this from other Humans. He could not bla them though, yet he still felt vexed whenever he got looks like these.

The Necromancer was an Old Man with a very lean physique, he opened his mouth, “Kid, there is no enmity between us, why don’t you…”

Grey’s figure slowly dissipated, appearing a few ters behind the Old Man, “You talk too much.”

After saying this, he did not even spare the Necromancer another glance before rushing to the aid of a Seventh stage Sovereign.

The Necromancer still had his mouth open, still in the act of speaking. Freezing mid speech, his eyes widened, turning red. A second later, his head slid down from his neck, falling to the ground. His body following suit. He did not even know how he died, still in the middle of talking, he lost his head and ultimately his life.

This Necromancer had been battling with another Eighth stage Sovereign, and both of them were relatively close in regards to their strength. Seeing Grey kill the Necromancer without him even being able to muster any form of defense frightened the Eighth stage Sovereign. When Grey made a move, he sensed the aura fluctuations coming from his body, and was certain he was also an Eighth stage Sovereign. His eyes twitching, he looked in the direction Grey flew in. He almost could not believe soone in the sa cultivation stage as himself was killed just like that by another person in the sa cultivation stage, one a few hundred years younger even.

‘Where did this kid co from?’
