Chapter 1971: Return To The Gno World III
Sowhere in the Azure Continent.
Grey appeared in the middle of a City in ruins. This was not his first ti coming here, after navigating through the streets of the City, he arrived at an empty small alley. A few months ago, while he was out with his friends fighting the Gnos, they stumbled upon this City. They wiped out all the Gnos present and sealed the portal connecting it to the Gno World. Due to the use of his space elent, after sealing the portal, it disappeared.
It did not take long before he found traces of the portal near the end of the alley. Pushing his space elent, the portal reappeared, still sealed. He did not know the exact part of the Gno World this portal was connected to, nevertheless, he was sure of one thing, the Gnos that passed through this place were all below the Sovereign Plane. The strongest was only a Sixth stage Venerable. This portal has been sealed for a while now and he believed the Gnos would not put in too much effort to try to restore this portal. It was only a portal that could allow Venerables, in the grand sche of things, it was not as important as the others.
He did not just recklessly charge into the portal, taking his ti, he used his understanding of the space elent to probe the portal. In the end, the portals are connections between two worlds. Just as it was sealed here, there is a probability the Gnos would have also sealed it on their end.
After a few minutes of probing, the portal was not sealed on the other end which was within his expectations. The Gno would never believe a Human would dare to sneak into the Gno World, so as soon as the portal was sealed on this end, they did not bother themselves with it.
Bringing out the Bunny Leader, he pointed at the portal. There was no need to speak, space elental essence pulsed around the body of the Bunny Leader as he started to work on the portal. Another Bunny appeared, a smaller one that was surprisingly as strong as a Third stage Sovereign.
“Go!” The Bunny Leader pointed his small paw at the portal and the Bunny disappeared into it. He knew Grey wanted to sneak into the Gno World, and they had to be sure no one was on the other side, else they were only putting themselves in harm’s way.
While waiting, Void appeared on Void’s shoulder, “Are you sure about this?”
Void has been with Grey for well over ten years and barely questions him. Be that as it may, heading into the Gno World in their current situation was not a good idea. In regards to this, he saw the reasoning to Grey’s Teacher’s words. Even Klaus told him not to do it.
“Are you scared?” Grey asked, looking at him with a calm but steady gaze.
Void shook his head, “No, just worried.” Before pointing out, “Knowing how bad your luck is, we might be exposed.”
The corner of Grey’s lips twitched when he heard this and asked, “Are you cursing us?”
Not giving Void a chance to continue, he added, “With you two with , we should be safe. Besides, I’ll set up a teleportation array on the other side of the portal. That way, once I find the Principal, we will not have to take the risk of traveling.”
He did not plan to set up just one teleportation array, his plan was to set up multiple to make journeying around the Gno World easy. That way, if he ever needs to revisit any place he had gone past, it would be easy to go back, further limiting the possibility of being caught. He knew the danger he would face in the Gno World this ti, hence the reason he chose to do this alone.
Ten minutes went by in a flash.
The Bunny sent to scout out the place where the other side of the portal was connected finally returned, passing on the information to the Bunny Leader.
“There’s a Peak Sage Gno guarding the place.” The Bunny Leader reported.
“Oh, that makes things easier.”
“The Gno has already been knocked out.”
Nodding, Grey urged his space elent, wrapping himself and the duo in it, they charged into the portal. The portal disappeared as soon as the trio plunged into it. He did not want an instance where any wandering Elentalist would find it and recklessly rush into it. They did not remove the seal, only opening a small passage for them to pass through.
….
Sowhere in the Gno World.
A large Hall that was about three hundred square ters. A glowing silver portal could be seen suspended a ter off the ground. By the side of the portal was a Gno that wore armor sleeping peacefully.
The portal shook before the figure of Grey stepped out from it.
“Hmm?” Grey raised a brow as he appeared on the other side of the portal. During the process of going through the portal, he noticed the instability of the portal. Luckily, he was adept in the space elent and hurriedly stabilized the portal with the help of Void and the Bunny Leader. Had the portal collapsed with them inside, they would have had a hard ti coming to the Gno World. His decision not to bring his friends proved crucial in this situation.
Spreading out his ntal Sense, with the exception of this Gno, he sensed the presence of another Gno outside the building. This building was ordinary with nothing inside except the portal. Taking out a mask from his spatial storage, he wore it before disappearing.
He appeared outside the building, on the blind spot of the Gno standing outside. Looking around, he noticed this was the only building in the area. It was apparently built due to the presence of the portal since they were in a large expanse of land with nothing else on sight, not even trees.
Taking a deep breath, he went to the back of the building and started to work on an array.
