Capítulo 1979: Help From The Seventh Prince
The Middle-aged Gno stared at Grey for a long ti before finally speaking, “Is there a way we can get confirmation from the Seventh Prince?”
Every fiber of the Middle-aged Gno was telling him to throw Grey out, however, there was the possibility of the Seventh Prince being behind Grey. Offending the Seventh Prince over a re Human was not worth it. Nevertheless, he would not just allow Grey to pick soone from his Family without any confirmation. The Seventh Prince’s token was not enough evidence to prove this was the will of the Seventh Prince. What if this Human stole the token from soone else?
Grey raised a brow, realizing things would not be as easy as he thought. Not wanting to get into a fight so soon, he asked, “What more do you need as confirmation?”
“Words from the Seventh Prince himself. Also, you don’t need to worry about contacting him. Our Grand Elder is there right now, and we have contacted him to reach out to the Seventh Prince. We will get his response in a short ti. Until then, please exercise so patience.” The Middle-aged Gno spoke calmly while studying Grey’s reactions. If he notices even the slightest sign of panic from Grey, then he would be sure Grey stole the token. To his surprise, the Human before him maintained the sa collectiveness as when he saw him the first ti.
‘Could it really be that he was sent by the Prince?’ The Middle-aged Gno found this strange. He found so inconsistencies in Grey’s story, hence the reason he wanted so sort of confirmation. Yet, Grey was not panic-stricken like he expected, which ant he was not afraid of them contacting the Seventh Prince. Only soone who was indeed sent by the Seventh Prince would be able to remain calm under such circumstances.
The Middle-aged Gno was considering if Grey was truly sent by the Seventh Prince, while Grey, in the anti was elated in his heart as he imdiately took control of the Seventh Prince. Things were even going smoother than he expected. Since these Gnos wanted to contact the Seventh Prince, it would make everything easier for him. Once the Seventh Prince inford them he was the one who sent him there, the Principal would be handed to him with ease.
At the thought of leaving with the Principal, he could barely contain the joy in his heart.
‘I should leave a gift for these guys.’ He thought to himself as he controlled the Seventh Prince who was being led to one of the rooms in the Palace.
A few minutes later, the Middle-aged Gno had a look of surprise. He had gotten word from the Grand Elder that Grey was in fact sent by the Seventh Prince. Also reminding them to keep this a secret, as well as the existence of Grey a secret. This was in line with what Grey said earlier.
With no other choice, the Middle-aged Gno turned to Grey, “You said you can track the location of this Human?”
Grey nodded, “En.”
The Middle-aged Gno stood up, “Lead the way then.”
“Thank you for your cooperation.” Grey thanked them as he stood up and walked outside the Hall, heading for the building on the left where Void was located. Which was the sa place the Principal was located.
These Gnos thought Grey was tracking the Human, whereas in truth, he was only following his connection with Void. They had no idea of this, and Grey would not expose this fact to them.
Leading the group, he walked through the place with great familiarity. After entering the building on the left, he turned towards the right wing of the building, walking through a long corridor, he arrived in front of a door that had so seals in front of them.
Pointing at the door, he said, “He’s in here.”
The Middle-aged Gno’s eyes widened in shock, while the other Gnos gasped, clearly dumbfounded.
Their reactions surprised Grey, “What’s wrong?”
“Have you been here before?” The eyes of the Middle-aged Gno showed so ferocity.
“Uh?” Grey did not expect such a question, all he did was follow his connection with Void, and it was quite easy to navigate through this building, so why were they reacting in such a manner?
He shook his head in reply to the Gno’s question a second later.
“There’s no Human there.” The Middle-aged Gno replied with a frown.
“My mark is leading here. Are you saying the person I’m looking for isn’t here even though I can clearly sense it?” Grey asked, his tone cold.
“It’s impossible for you to be able to sense anything coming from this room. Not even I can sense anything coming from inside.” The Middle-aged Gno looked at Grey oddly. He knew just how powerful the array formation used in this place was. It could even hide things from the senses of a Half God Plane expert, much less an Eighth stage Sovereign. No matter how strong the mark this Human left on the person, it was impossible for it to pass through this door. Also, this place was one of the secret places of their Family, there is no way he would allow anyone to enter, especially a Human.
‘Oh, no wonder they are shocked. I’ve never really lost connection with Void even when trapped in array formations.’ Grey thought internally, staring at the array lines glowing on the door, he praised internally, ‘This array really is wonderful. The creator is a genius!’
Other than his connection with Void, when he tried to use his ntal Sense to inspect the other side of the door, it was as if he was thrown into a vast nothingness. For soone with his current strength, he could even sense the smallest speck on a blade of grass with his ntal Sense, yet this door seed invisible to it. The door was present physically, yet to his ntal Sense, it was practically invisible. The harder he tried, the more all he could sense was nothingness. It was as if he was thrown into the vast empty space. The array truly was a marvel.
The Gno was waiting for a reply from Grey, while the latter was marveling at the wonder of the array formation before him. There was a strange glow in Grey’s eyes, the first ti Grey’s eyes did not exude coldness. The Middle-aged Gno wondered the reason behind the change in Grey’s eyes. If he knew that Grey was only thinking of the beauty of this array formation, it is unknown what his reaction would be, after all, he was waiting for a reply from him.
The young male Gno found Grey’s silence annoying, snorting coldly.
The young male Gno’s cold snort brought the absent-minded Grey back to reality. Coughing slightly, he explained, “My marks are special. They can even cross World Boundaries, an array formation is not enough to block it, no matter how amazing it is.”
“Impossible!” This ti, it was the young male Gno who exclaid.
“Nothing is impossible in this world.” Grey replied coolly before turning to the Middle-aged Gno, “Is it possible for to go in? If not, I can give you a description of the Human I’m here for and you can go fetch him for .”
The Middle-aged Gno gave Grey an incredulous look, not expecting him to make such a suggestion. For the first ti since he saw him, he realized he was not too unpleasing to the eye. He had initially planned to deny the fact that there were Humans on the other side of the door due to how important this place was to them. Hearing Grey’s words now, he decided against it.
The Human Grey ca here for was soone the Seventh Prince has personally confird he wanted. Letting them in on the secret of Grey’s existence is the Seventh Prince showing so form of trust in them. Maybe after this, they will be able to build a long lasting relationship with the Seventh Prince, and be one of his strongest backers for the already won battle for the position of the next Emperor.
“Describe this Human to , I’ll fetch him for you.” The Middle-aged Gno answered.
Grey did not waste any ti, asking Void for the Principal’s exact appearance, even as far to the clothes he wore. Of course, he did not make any ntion of the Principal’s clothing, only using his physical appearance.
The Middle-aged Gno listened carefully before nodding, “We bought soone who fits your description only a few days ago. I never expected he would have so sort of connection to the Seventh Prince.”
The Middle-aged Gno told Grey to wait in the waiting Hall of this building along with the other Gnos. Only soone of his status is allowed inside this room. It took a few minutes before the Middle-aged Gno stepped out with a Human a tow, an emaciated Human to be exact since there was barely any flesh left on this person.
