Sowhere in the Aurora Continent.
Grey, Klaus, Alice, and Reynolds were currently traveling over to et up with Silvan Eldenford. After the eting, Grey was invited to the Eldenford Family by Silvan, according to him, there was an opportunity he needed allies to secure, and after hearing all about Grey's ability, he invited him over to help out with it. Grey only agreed to go if his friends were allowed to accompany him. Silvan did not refuse this request since there were a few Seventh stage Sovereigns in his ranks as well.
"Don't you think this is a trap?" Reynolds questioned as they got closer to their destination.
"Maybe, maybe not. The chances of it being a trap is very low. You should know all the families are on edge after what his mother did the last ti." Alice replied.
Thinking about it, Reynolds nodded. They were with Grey when he was ambushed, luckily, the old n only wanted Grey's head, letting them be. Even when they tried to chase after them, they were too slow. This is the reason they survived the ambush with little to no injuries.
Now that there was an opportunity that might allow them to grow stronger, they wanted to take it. The feeling of helplessness they felt at that ti still haunts them till date.
"I've conversed with him, and although I don't like his constant smiling face, he doesn't seem to be that bad." Klaus comnted, after a pause he added, "His company might be worth looking out for though. Especially that silver-haired prick."
"Silver-haired guy?"
"He's from a top Ice users family, for so reason he's jealous of my success. Hehehe.."
"Why would anyone be jealous of you?" Alice looked at Klaus in contempt seeing his smirking face.
"I entered a Faction they can only dream of, of course they will all be jealous. Hahahaha"
Alice and Klaus bickered for a bit before she asked, "So do you have any idea about this opportunity he spoke of?"
"He didn't give any details, only saying it's sothing discovered by his Family and another Family. It has sothing to do with a Small World." Grey replied after so thoughts.
"A Small World?" Alice arched her brows.
"Yes. He said we'll know more once we get there." Grey replied.
"If this Small World has such an opportunity, why don't they monopolize it like the big families usually do?" Reynolds could not help asking.
"I have no idea, but I spoke with my father and he said the Eldenford Family are trustworthy, so I don't think we have anything to worry about. Of course, there's no harm in being cautious as well." Grey replied. He did not know much about the Small World. When he tried to get so information from Silvan, the latter only told him they would know more once they arrived.
Since his father has already given him the go-ahead to visit the Eldenford Family, he decided to check it out. It would not be bad if they managed to obtain so opportunities there.
Later that day.
The group arrived in front of a mangrove forest.
Klaus looked in front and asked with brows twitching, "Do we have to find it from this place?"
"No, he gave sothing I can use to locate him once we get here." Grey brought out a token while speaking, quickly sending his ntal Energy into it to activate it. As soon as the token was flooded by his ntal Energy, it glowed, before a path appeared before them, a path that was previously concealed.
The group exchanged glances before walking towards the path. It took them almost an hour of multiple twists and turns before they arrived at a massive Manor that was built in a spacious area in the middle of the mangrove, or so it seed.
At the front of the Manor, Silvan could be seen waiting for them, still dressed in the sa all white attire. The silver-haired young man was standing beside him, along with the four others that accompanied him when he ca to invite Grey.
"You made it, I was starting to worry you were not coming before I sensed my token." Silvan walked forward with a smile, extending his hand.
Grey shook his hand as he replied, "Sothing ca up, sorry for the delay."
One of the young n by the side of Silvan snorted coldly when he heard Grey's apology. This young man was dressed in purple attire with golden embroidery on the shoulders. From his clothing, it was easy to tell he was from a big family.
Grey did not even spare him a glance. He is soone from a top Family too, and even without his father's identity, he can stand on his own with his current strength.
Silvan studied Grey, seeing no reaction from him, he nodded internally before motioning for them to co in.
Grey and his group walked into the Manor beside Silvan, who introduced his group to them. Silvan is already familiar with Grey's group since he got to speak with Klaus the last ti. He led the group to the back of the Manor, an open field where so people were waiting. There were three n and two elderly won.
When the people saw the youngsters coming over, one of the elderly won stepped forward, bowing softly and she asked Silvan, "Young Lord, is this the help you brought? If yes, we should depart."
Silvan smiled and nodded, "Yes Aunt Lisa, this is the help I was waiting for."
The elderly woman referred to as Aunt Lisa took out sothing and blew into it after getting Silvan's affirmation. A few seconds later, the sound of flapping was heard and five Griffins around almost twenty ters in length flew over. Each Griffin could comfortably carry five people with no issues.
Klaus clicked his tongue at the sight of this.
'These old families are really sothing.' He thought to himself.
His act of clicking his tongue drew looks of disdain from so of Silvan's companions.
