Simon's gaze was mocking, "Is it not? Grand Captain Su is now a favorite of the authorities, the brightest new star in the rcenary Realm, I'm afraid I might not live up to your status."
Trading barbs aside, Su Mo sensed the situation was dire.
Crow's Nest was the largest violent group on the border, and the Crow's Nest Seven were the fiercest among them.
Simon, as a Blood Code Carrier, had a blood code of "Critical Low Tier," two major levels above Su Mo, making him a significantly higher-ranking enemy.
Although Su Mo had Crimson Rose, Mad Corpse, and Python Venom blood codes, along with Wolverine Spine and Moon Concealing Arm Blade prosthetic implants, allowing his body functions to crush opponents of the sa tier.
However, two of his blood codes were "High Tier of Awakening," and one was "Low Tier of Awakening," still quite far from Simon's level, leaving Su Mo unsure if he could defeat an enemy two major levels above him.
To make things worse, Crow's Nest didn't play fair, not only dispatching experts but also adding a dozen additional helpers, all of whom appeared to be elite thugs.
Wiping away the blood from his lips, Su Mo continued to stall, "What's the point of a bunch attacking ? How about letting call for backup, and we'll have a fair duel."
Simon coldly replied, "Fair? Defectors from the border aren't worthy of speaking of fairness."
He led the charge towards Su Mo, and the rest of the Crow's Nest Thugs spread out, surrounding Su Mo tightly with the intent to finish him off.

"Miss, here's the ice cream you ordered." The waiter handed two ice creams to Dongdong.
Dongdong eagerly started nibbling on one while extending her wrist chip to pay.
The waiter, a male, naturally talked more when facing a pretty little girl, smilingly asked, "Why are you carrying a baseball bat? Are you a baseball player?"
Dongdong nonchalantly replied, "It's for hitting people."
Waiter: "...huh?"
After paying, Dongdong left with her ice cream.
Upon exiting, she noticed the mall's corridor was crowded with people, each looking terrified as if fleeing from disaster.
Curious, she randomly asked soone, "What's going on?"

She saw Su Mo getting hacked at by a group, panicking and dropping her ice cream as she sprinted over, "Boss!!!"
One Crow's Nest Thug attacking Su Mo suddenly felt a strong wind behind him, followed by a solid thump on the back of his head.
This thug was a Prosthetic Implanter with "Stringently Managed Level 2" alloy bones and shock absorbers in his head and neck, barely withstanding a blow powerful enough to kill an elephant.
With a twisted face, he turned to fight Dongdong when another gust of wind swept up from below.
"Dong!!!"
This club spun fiercely between the thug's legs, the massive force lifting him half a ter off the ground. When he landed, he fell straight down, his nervous system overwheld by the pain, causing him to collapse foaming at the mouth.
Dongdong coldly said, "Dare to lay a hand on my boss, I'll bust you up!"
Though this low-down tactic was appalling, the thugs present were all elite from Crow's Nest, well-trained, so continuing to attack Su Mo while three others went to team up against Dongdong.
These three thugs were all Prosthetic Implanters, having completed full-body prosthetic replacents, every component at a Stringently Managed Level, matching Dongdong in hardware with very strong combat abilities.
Two of them attacked from both sides, pinning Dongdong's arms with grappling techniques, while the third thrust a prosthetic blade at her heart.
"Swish—" The thug's blade hadn't hit yet when a long black shadow attacked like lightning.
Dongdong's bionic tail transford into combat mode, black fur retracting to reveal tallic barbs, the stabbing speed utterly unstoppable.
"Pffft!" The bionic tail pierced through the breastbone like cutting tofu and with a sharp pull, extracted a large amount of blood, lung tissue, and tal fragnts.
The severely injured thug imdiately turned ashen, collapsing to the ground.
The Profound Cat-type Artificial Body was a new prosthetic developed by Iron Blood Alliance this year, not yet circulated on the black market, very few having seen it. The bionic tail unexpectedly caught the thug off guard, leaving him at a severe disadvantage.
After flooring one thug, Dongdong grabbed the two pinning her arms with a grim smile, "Die!"

Simon twisted his neck, producing cracking sounds, striding towards the downed Su Mo, "Still saving your subordinate? Better take care of yourself first."
"Boss!" Dongdong struggled to block Simon.
Su Mo shouted, "Focus on handling the others, I'll handle this!"
Displaying strong combat skills, Dongdong obeyed imdiately, bypassing Simon to intercept other thugs.
Simon leapt, kicking towards Su Mo, who rolled away to dodge.
"Boom!" The landing spot shattered into a web-like crater several ters in diater, the sonic boom deafening, showcasing terrifying power.
Getting up, Su Mo draw out his trusty gun and repeatedly fired at Simon.
Bullets danced in the air like silver snakes, targeting Simon's head.
Simon sneered, his body trembling abruptly, ghastly Frenzied Corpse Rigid Bone vastly proliferating, leaving gaps only at the joints, the rest of his body, including the head, encased in the Rigid Bone.
"Clang, clang, clang——" In front of the Critical Low Tier Frenzied Corpse Rigid Bone, the bullets from Su Mo's gun lacked the power, all being deflected, leaving only shallow dents.
Simon, unfazed by the bullets, collided his fists covered with Rigid Bone before him, advancing on Su Mo like a human tank.
