"Dawn" is a role-playing ga that gives players significant freedom in storyline choices. You can choose the "good path" and be a saint, or the "evil path" and be a jerk.
You can also waver between good and evil, being a law-abiding good guy today and a chaotic evil psycho tomorrow who murders entire families.
Players play the ga based on their mood, doing whatever they want; ultimately, after background calculations, the system will place them on a certain storyline path.
But that's the gaplay effect; such situations don't occur in reality.
After all, Ou Chenyu isn't schizophrenic.
From an official standpoint, Ou Chenyu has several preset personalities that correspond to different story routes and endings.

In the Demon Ending, Ou Chenyu initiates wars, killing billions and fully controlling the World Governnt and the three major enterprises to establish an absolutely cold dictatorship.
After witnessing Ou Chenyu's first battle, Su Mo gained a further understanding of his character, benefiting significantly.
Before leaving, Su Mo took one last look at the lifeless Mountain Cat.
Concerning Ou Chenyu's act of complete eradication, Su Mo didn't want to comnt.
Ou Chenyu is a demon character; he himself isn't a saint, either.
When dealing with the Red Blade Association, he also sought total annihilation.
There's no room for double standards here.
However, another branch of this storyline erged in Su Mo's mind.
Ou Chenyu probably didn't realize he lost an important ally in the future.
If he had chosen to defeat, not kill, Mountain Cat here, and honored his promise by sparing his brothers, in tis of trouble, Mountain Cat would return with his brothers to repay him.
Now, that chance for repaynt was buried by Ou Chenyu himself.
Su Mo withdrew his gaze and left alone.
The branching possibilities of the upcoming storyline are nurous, so Su Mo needs so hardware devices to monitor Ou Chenyu's movents and judge the specific direction.
This is where Future, the engineering master, cos in.
Su Mo returned ho and entered Future's laboratory.
After a round of procurent, the basic lab equipnt had been fully set up. The small and large devices filled the entire basent, making it appear quite cramped.
Future was currently seated at the computer, adjusting equipnt paraters.
During this period, she'd been working day and night tirelessly, her dark circles becoming more pronounced, enough to play a panda just by wearing furs.

Future pondered and said, "Both of these are high-precision instrunts. With this lab equipnt, we definitely can't manufacture them."
"Here's the plan: go to the border black market to buy regular drones and listening devices, then help procure so spare parts. I'll handle the assembly and modification for you."
Su Mo: "Alright, make a list for , and I'll go buy them now."

The black market is located in the southern part of the Border District.
Unlike the imagined scenario of sneaky, shady vendors, the border black market is bustling, more like a marketplace.
After the "Border Isolation Act" was passed, the New Moon City authorities built a Rust Wall and withdrew all law enforcent from the Border District, letting this area rot on its own.
In the absence of official jurisdiction, the Border District is in a state of violent group autonomy, bringing otherwise unspeakable goods into the open.
The border black market comprises many stalls and shops, with various vendors enthusiastically hawking their diverse wares to passersby.
The items sold here aren't ordinary; mundane things hold no competitive power. Only genuine "good stuff" attracts black market custors.
