Staring at the plates of food being brought to the table, she almost couldn’t take her eyes off the various ats.

Seeing the neglected piece of braised pork, Qin Zhan’s lips curved with a faint smile in his phoenix eyes, "Don’t like braised pork?"

"Want to eat?" Qin Zhan asked with a smile.
She looked up at Qin Zhan and snorted softly, fox.
Seeing that she was still giving him the cold shoulder, Qin Zhan shook his head helplessly, "Little Nine, you haven’t said a word to Fourth Brother since we got in the car."
She lowered her head without saying anything, just poking at the spare ribs with her chopsticks.
There was another knock on the door. The waiter ca back in with a new plate of braised pork, still steaming hot.
Bi Xia stared blankly at the braised pork, then looked at Qin Zhan with confusion.
Qin Zhan sighed, "It’s only at tis like this that you’ll look at ."
He pushed the braised pork in front of her and said softly, "Eat. If you’re angry with , we can talk about it after you eat. Don’t take out your anger on the food. Eat until you’re full first. The previous braised pork got cold because you ignored it, so I had them make a new plate."
The frustration in her heart faded a lot. Bi Xia mumbled softly, picked up a piece of braised pork, and handed it to Qin Zhan before she buried her head in her food again.
Qin Zhan chuckled lightly. Indeed, the best way to placate a child was with food.
"Can you tell why you’re upset?" Qin Zhan asked gently. "I heard soone made our Little Nine unhappy. I dropped everything and ca to find you. Now you’re not saying a word to , and Fourth Brother is very sad."
"How do you know..." Bi Xia paused, "So, are you telling Xiong Liang and that teacher got punished because of you!"
Looking deeply at Qin Zhan, Bi Xia wouldn’t tell him that her heart felt sweet at that mont. It was the first ti soone helped her when she was in trouble... but...

"I know you could handle it yourself," Qin Zhan interrupted her, helplessly taking a tissue and leaning forward to gently wipe the corner of her mouth, "But I wanted to do sothing for you. I didn’t want you to feel wronged."
