As ng Chi walked out of the ng Family’s suburban villa, he looked up at the blue sky and then turned to see ng Liangxian and Yuan Li trailing behind Brother Li and the others.
He cast a deep glance at ng Liangxian, then turned to the teenager standing next to him with hands in pockets. Suddenly, he took off his sunglasses and handed them to the teenager, saying, "Boss, can you wait for a mont?
"I want to settle things with this man I’ve called father for seventeen years..." He took a deep breath and showed a bitter smile. "Make a clean break."
Staring at ng Chi, the serious determination in his eyes, Bi Xia shrugged, "OK."
Taking the sunglasses, he looked at them briefly before handing them back to ng Chi. "Take them. If you don’t want to see those people’s faces, put them on. Out of sight, out of mind."
He nodded towards Brother Li. Brother Li signaled for his n to stay where they were without moving. Bi Xia smirked, turned and donned the hood of his jacket, one hand in his pocket, the other snapping fingers at Zhao Wenxin and Wu Zhiyuan, his tone lazy and slow, "Let’s go."
Watching his friend and the teenager’s backs, ng Chi smiled, closed his eyes briefly, and reopened them, now emotionless, looking at ng Liangxian.
"Dad, this is the last ti I’ll call you Dad," ng Chi said, laughing bitterly. "Maybe you don’t think losing as a son ans anything, it’s even convenient, since the son in your heart has always been your other son."
"You want to pass the ng Group to your other son; I’ve always known. I held onto so hope, but when I discovered mom’s death was related to you, and that you were involved in today’s events, I realized the father I loved most was gone."
Listening to ng Chi, ng Liangxian’s initially livid face regained so color, but it darkened again as ng Chi ntioned his mother.
ng Liangxian, shaking with rage, pointed at ng Chi, "You unfilial son, how dare you slander your father like this?!"
"Have you forgotten who raised you after your mother died?"
"Do you have any conscience at all?" ng Liangxian glared at ng Chi, pointing around. "What, I can’t discipline you as your father? Look at you, you’ve caused a scene at ho because you’re so capable now! You..."
"I have no conscience!" ng Chi roared, cutting off ng Liangxian. He laughed coldly, pointing at himself, "I have no conscience? ng Liangxian, you say I have no conscience!"
With cold eyes, he glanced at Yuan Li before looking at ng Liangxian again. "If I had no conscience, I would have stabbed her in the heart with a knife the day she entered our ho! Just a life, I’d sacrifice mine to avenge my mother willingly!"
"You say I have no conscience. If I had no conscience, when your other son entered our ho, I would make sure he couldn’t stay in this circle for even a second!"
"You say I have no conscience..." ng Chi mocked as he looked at ng Liangxian. "I have no conscience, but you have no heart!"
"My mom betrayed the Chu Family for you, wholeheartedly managing the ng Group. And you?" ng Chi coldly pointed at Yuan Li. "You killed your wife for this woman! You destroyed your first son’s life for this woman and your other son. ng Liangxian, don’t you have even a shred of guilt and affection for and mom?!"
