"Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!"
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!"
"Feifei! Feifei!!!"
"Long live the king!!!!"
"The king is so handso!!!!"
Amidst the screams, the spotlight gradually dimd, and the figures of Xu Renfei and Bi Xia on the stage slowly disappeared. At the sa ti, a clear and slightly excited voice sounded, "Sister ng Luo! Sister ng Luo! Was that just the king and Brother Fei? So handso!!! And they used ’Ninety-Nine and Eighty-One Trials’, which made feel like I was seeing the passionate journey of the ’Journey to the West’ where they went through all those trials!"
Another gentle and pleasant voice laughed softly, "Oh Wenxin, I didn’t know you liked ’Journey to the West’."
"Not really, I used to imagine having a boyfriend like Sun Wukong who was omnipotent. He was my hero back then, just like the fairy tales I liked when I was little..."
Suddenly, the lights all turned on, and Zhao Wenxin, dressed in a white Snow White dress, stood in the center of the stage, her eyes slightly dazed and confused. She turned to ng Luo beside her and lightly asked, "Sister ng Luo, do you think there are really fairy tales in this world?"
ng Luo was wearing a red dress that she wore when hosting, which surprisingly matched the setting. She was taken aback by Zhao Wenxin’s question, as if she had thought of sothing, and then changed the topic, "Oh? Fairy tales? Then Wenxin, who is your favorite fairy tale character?"
"Hmm..." Zhao Wenxin’s voice elongated, as if she was thinking carefully, "I like Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, but..."
"But?"
"But... now I feel like those fairy tales seem to be fake."
"Why is that?"
Zhao Wenxin pouted, "Really, if you don’t believe it, I’ll show you."
As she spoke, the lighting changed, and the lights behind the stage illuminated. Countless people in courtly attire ran back and forth among the artificial mountains. They seed to be crossing rivers, shouting, "Snow White! Where are you!"
Suddenly, a lady officer-looking person stopped in her tracks by Zhao Wenxin, looked at her excitedly, and shouted, "Found her, found Snow White!"
Bi Xia, dressed in different clothes, ca to the backstage and watched the group performing on the stage. ng Chi and Xu Renfei joined her, also focusing on the stage. ng Chi smiled and said, "Wenxin is doing really well."
He then looked at Bi Xia, "Boss, Brother Fei, thank you!"
"If it wasn’t for you two performing parkour to buy ti for Wenxin, maybe..."
Xu Renfei patted ng Chi on the shoulder, "Alright, we’re all in the sa class, what’s there to thank for? I’m sure your boss thinks the sa, right." He nudged Bi Xia with his shoulder.
Bi Xia smiled and nodded, looking at the stage again. It was the part where Snow White ran out of the castle and encountered Little Red Riding Hood, who wanted to suppress herself from turning into the Big Bad Wolf.
Actually, this story is simple. Zhao Wenxin is telling ng Luo about the fairy tales in her heart, which is a fairy tale filled with gray areas.
Snow White is not quiet; she has an unquenchable desire for freedom. Despite the hunter’s warning, she disregarded the dangers and ran out of the castle. On her way, she t Little Red Riding Hood, who turned out to be the Big Bad Wolf wanting to beco human. After escaping, she found a pair of red dancing shoes and, unable to resist her delight, put them on. To her surprise, they started dancing endlessly.
Later, she t Cinderella, who was looking for her glass slipper. Because it was lost, Cinderella couldn’t recognize the prince, and even though the prince felt that Cinderella looked exactly like the princess in his dreams, he couldn’t believe that his princess wasn’t actually a real princess.
Cinderella helped Snow White remove the red dance shoes. The red dance shoes turned into glass shoes, and Cinderella reunited with the prince. However, Snow White couldn’t find her way ho and ended up eating a poisoned apple, falling unconscious and forgetting everything, awaiting the prince’s rescue.
The play reached its conclusion. With ng Luo’s help, Zhao Wenxin slowly awakened, looking dejectedly at ng Luo, "See, fairy tales aren’t that beautiful. Behind every fairy tale lies reality, and reality is never perfect."
To everyone’s surprise, ng Luo slowly smiled, "Reality is indeed imperfect, and fairy tales are indeed just fairy tales. But the perfection of fairy tales lies in whether you strive, whether you excel."
As she spoke, her finger pointed in the air, and the sound of the gears of ti gradually rose, along with the lodious sound of instrunts.
A beam of white light shone on a high platform at the back of the stage, where a young man in a sapphire blue suit sat at the piano. His eyes lowered slightly with deep emotion and restraint, his fingers lightly played as his deep and magnetic voice sang a soothing song, "I heard Snow White is running away, and Little Red Riding Hood is worried about the Big Bad Wolf..."
Next to the piano, a young man in a white shirt with rolled-up sleeves had a white tie loosely stuffed into his collar, revealing the unfastened top button. The slightly open collar exposed a prominent collarbone, and on that collarbone, the black chain’s silver pendant sparkled under the lights.
The young man’s red lips parted lightly as he sang with a clear, resonant voice, "I heard Peter Pan never grows up, and Jack has a harp and magic..."
"Only the wise river knows that Snow White ran out of the castle because of her playful nature, and Little Red Riding Hood has a red cloak that suppresses her from turning into a wolf..."
Finally, all the actors slowly ca on stage, and it turned into a chorus by everyone on the playground, "There’s always a winding river of dreams in Fairy Tale Town, dividing ideals and reality, yet converging on the mountain path ahead..."
"So that all the ’once upon a ti’ stories can reach a happy ending..."
Who doesn’t have fairy tales in their world, but fairy tales are still fairy tales. Yet no one can say that reality cannot beco a fairy tale. If we strive to beco excellent and strong, fairy tales will co closer and closer to us...
