Now reading: Chapter 446: Revised - 441 Guardian of Military Posture from After Breaking the Persona, I Reach the Peak of My Life, a Romance novel by Yu Xiaolei.

Under the blazing sun, sweat trickled down her cheeks. Bi Xia stood there, pale-faced, maintaining her military stance without moving. She stared straight ahead, her face expressionless, as officers and instructors walked past her.

"Bi Xia!"

"Present!" Bi Xia straightened her chest and responded loudly.

The instructor stood in front of Bi Xia, looking at her as she stood punished under the sun, and finally said helplessly, "Why can’t you control your temper? How can you resort to violence and hit people?"

Bi Xia glanced at the instructor, her expression indifferent, and said, "They all deserved it."

"Bi Xia!" the instructor roared.

"Present!" Bi Xia responded just as loudly, not giving in.

The instructor was furious at Bi Xia’s defiance, "You little rascal, do you rember how many tis you’ve been punished?!"

Her starry eyes half-closed, numbers quickly spinning in her mind, an exact number appeared, "Report, instructor, 25 tis!"

"Damn it! 25 tis! Do you even have the nerve to say that! In the entire recruit training, you were punished 25 tis, becoming the most punished in the camp, and you still have the nerve to say that!" the instructor yelled, almost jumping up.

"Report, instructor," Bi Xia said, "You asked, and I just obeyed orders and answered accurately."

The instructor was speechless, "Go away, you brat! Since you obey orders, why don’t you follow my order not to use violence."

"Report, instructor," Bi Xia’s expression remained indifferent, "I did listen."

"You listened? How did you listen?!"

"I told them the instructor forbade from using violence. They didn’t believe it and kept provoking , insisting that I hit them if I dared," Bi Xia paused, giving the instructor a complicated look, "Don’t you think they’re crazy? Wouldn’t they know if I was capable or not?"

The instructor felt at a loss for words, but he had to admit, seeing this brat punished under the sun, he felt a twinge of sympathy. After all, this kid was a good prospect, and her personality suited him well. However, discipline had to be maintained in the army. If not checked, her behavior would sooner or later lead to trouble.

Thinking about the group of guys Bi Xia sent to the infirmary, the instructor felt a headache coming on. Frustrated, he muttered a curse and walked away.

Bi Xia continued to stand straight, though she was starting to feel dizzy. However, it was much better than when she first started training.

Looking around, Bi Xia truly understood what military training space ant, what it ant for everything to be real.

The instructors, comrades – everyone here seed real. Their every move carried genuine emotions, even their likes and dislikes were clear. Within this, Bi Xia found herself expressing emotions she usually kept hidden. If soone provoked her, she’d swing her fists.

At first, Bi Xia was the one getting hit. Later, she was the one doing the hitting. Every day, Bi Xia improved. On her first day, the instructor had punished her with two hours of military stance practice for not standing correctly.

Later, as Bi Xia curled her lips, it had beco a form of emotional exchange between her and the instructor, and a way for the instructor to give her extra attention.

She closed her eyes slightly, recalling yesterday when she held a gun, lying prone on the ground, hitting the target with each shot in a standard posture. From missing the target initially, she advanced to hitting the bullseye – Bi Xia practiced again and again.

Honestly, Bi Xia felt she had embarrassed herself enough here. Before, when she started learning sothing new, even if she made a fool of herself, it was only in front of the teacher. But now, it was in front of a group of people, and the feeling of being laughed at was real and intense.

It took Bi Xia almost a month, repeating the training movents every day. With her previous learning experience, Bi Xia improved quickly. Now, she had beco a well-known figure in the camp, for example –

Model of Progress...

Outstanding mber...

Number One Violent Person...

Guardian of the Military Stance...

And... Number One in Punishnt Series...

Thinking of this, Bi Xia wanted to laugh, but she was too exhausted even to lift the corner of her mouth. Suddenly, everything went black, and she heard a voice she hadn’t heard for a long ti – 007’s voice –
