Elder Zheng’s daughter?
Bi Xia tilted his head slightly, looking at Elder Zheng, and saw Elder Zheng smiling warmly at him. Bi Xia’s starry eyes narrowed slightly as he turned to Zheng Wanruo, his red lips curling into a polite yet distant smile. "Hello, President Zheng. I’m Bi Xia, the grandson of God Xia from the Xia Family, and also the CEO of X Group."
This ti, it was Zheng Wanruo’s turn to be stunned. She looked at Bi Xia in disbelief, then at Elder Zheng, covering her mouth with her hand. "You are the mysterious CEO of X Group? Impossible, you’re so young!"
Bi Xia smiled faintly. "If there’s not yet a second X Group in country C, then I should be the mysterious CEO you’re talking about."
Zheng Wanruo shook her head with a smile, shrugging in surprise. "My gosh, I really didn’t expect the legendary very promising young CEO would be you!"
"Honestly, being able to create such a large company at such a young age is truly impressive!"
"You flatter ," Bi Xia bowed slightly, smiling calmly. "It was just casual play, but it sohow grew big, and the people under increased, so I had to move forward even if it ant pushing myself."
Hearing Bi Xia’s words, Zheng Wanruo was taken aback and looked directly at Bi Xia.
On that exquisite little face, there was an expression of indifferent calm at the mont. Those starry eyes showed no sign of tension or arrogance, yet the arrogance in his words was very apparent.
Now, in this light, those arrogant words no longer seed boastful, as if the young man was just recounting a very ordinary thing. Especially looking at the young man’s expression as if saying, ’I also don’t want it this way, but since you all praise , what can I do?’ added a touch of helplessness and innocence.
Zheng Wanruo couldn’t help but laugh out loud. She turned around, walked to Elder Zheng, supported him to stand up and said softly, "I lost."
As the words fell, Bi Xia and ng Chi, along with others, all looked towards Elder Zheng and Zheng Wanruo.
ng Chi didn’t care that he was on soone else’s turf. In his heart, Bi Xia was always in the first place. Hearing the words of Zheng Wanruo and Elder Zheng, he couldn’t help but get angry. He stepped forward and said solemnly, "Lost? What do you an? Are you making a joke about our boss as a bet?!"
"Boy, don’t be mad," Elder Zheng soothed ng Chi and then laughed heartily, patting Zheng Wanruo’s hand. "Now do you see why I like this little guy so much? There aren’t many people who can outsmart you!"
Zheng Wanruo shook her head helplessly, looked at Bi Xia, first bowed slightly in apology, then explained, "Sorry, though it’s a bit inappropriate, indeed before you ca, I made a bet with my old man."
"I guess this bet is about ," Bi Xia replied blandly. "I suppose the content of your bet was whether I would chicken out when I ca up, whether I could handle your goods."
Zheng Wanruo didn’t expect Bi Xia to guess correctly. She looked at Bi Xia with wide eyes, smiling incredulously. "You’re really smart; how did you guess it?"
"It’s simple," Bi Xia gave Zheng Wanruo a slight smile as well. "Either your father is stupid, or you’re stupid, especially..."
He looked at Zheng Wanruo aningfully, "especially knowing there were multiple doubts about the other party’s identity."
"In this situation, giving the other side an initial shock," Bi Xia lazily raised his eyes, "If the other party is cowardly, then you are sure to win, but unfortunately, I, Bi Xia, my identity is not only the second-in-command of ’Xia Family Cuisine,’ and I have never been—a coward!"
"Hahaha!!!!" Elder Zheng’s laughter filled the whole office. He withdrew his arm from Zheng Wanruo’s hand and walked to Bi Xia’s side with his cane, laughing and patting Bi Xia on the shoulder. "Good boy! Good boy! This is truly the descendant of Old Xia! I, this old man, truly admire you!"
"You’re also impressive," Bi Xia smirked nonchalantly. "Knowing my identity and still making reveal it in front of your daughter, is it fun..."
