’I could kill all the zombies down there myself if I had enough ti.’

’But those people... they probably can’t hold out much longer.’

After encircling the group within a ring of fire, Nina Jacobs took off in another direction.

According to Chelsea Walsh, the Liaoyuan Crystal was supposed to be incredibly powerful.

She planned to find a wide-open area with the highest concentration of zombies to test it out.

"Is she gone?"

Lana watched the figure speeding away.

"No, she’s still killing zombies! Killing them on the run!"

The man beside her shouted excitedly.

Even from three stories up, her Superpower showed no signs of weakening.

Countless Fire Blades shot down, following her movents.

She stopped above a cluster of zombies.

Dozens of Fireballs rained down as before, but this ti a sudden heatwave surged from the ground.

It was followed by a flash of light that shot toward the sky.

A searing wave of heat rolled out like a tidal wave as flas instantly spread in every direction.

BOOM!

Nina Jacobs stared at the street below, stunned.

She was glad she’d chosen to use it from a distance.

’I can’t believe just one Liaoyuan Crystal combined with a Fire Elent Superpower could create such an effect.’

On the cross street below, hundreds of zombies within the blast radius were instantly incinerated.

’No wonder Chelsea Walsh said this thing was difficult to make.’

’If a weapon this destructive was made available to all Superpower Users, it would probably be a disaster.’

The Liaoyuan Crystal had certainly relieved so of the pressure.

But there were still plenty of zombies.

Seeing that the group was at the end of its rope, Nina Jacobs conjured two Fire Serpents that slithered along the wall.

The Fire Serpents charged into the horde, breaking up their formation.

"Find a way to get up here!"

Nina Jacobs shouted.

Seeing a glimr of hope, Lana gritted her teeth and summoned every ounce of strength to conjure barriers from her spatial reserve, lining both sides of the pathway.

"Quick, listen to her, everyone get in!"

Lana shouted.

Trevor had already snapped into action. He ran to the car and pulled a little girl from inside.

"Watch out!"

Just as a zombie lunged out from under the car, a Fireball struck it squarely in the head.

It was her.

Trevor glanced up at the woman standing above.

She looked down upon them, as if everything was under her Control.

BOOM!

A Fire Serpent shot toward the several zombies on the staircase.

The Fire Serpent coiled around the group like a guardian spirit.

But disaster struck anyway. Shawn, who was covering their retreat up the stairs, suddenly coughed up a mouthful of blood.

Lana then noticed a Gold Spike protruding from his back.

"You guys go first."

The scent of blood on Shawn agitated the surrounding zombies.

He knew that even if he forced himself to follow, he would only draw more zombies to them.

Just then, the Fire Serpent coiled around him as if it understood his words.

Co up.

Two words, ford from flas, appeared before him.

Shawn’s eyes widened. As if compelled by a command, he gritted his teeth and grabbed Trevor’s outstretched hand.

BANG!

The Fire Serpent guarded their rear, instantly killing two zombies that lunged forward.

Lana and the others finally saw the person standing there.

Nina Jacobs wasn’t looking at them, her focus entirely on controlling her Fire Elent Superpower.

Molten flas crept along the walls before dripping onto the ground below.

Zombies that had broken through the railing on the left were about to swarm the stairs, only to be completely engulfed by the molten fire on the ground.

"Thank you. Who are you?"

Greg Unger asked, looking at her back.

She didn’t answer him right away. After waving a hand to unleash another volley of arrows, she replied:

"My na is Nina Jacobs.

There’s Blood Stopping Spray and dical supplies in the bag on the floor. You can use them."

Nina Jacobs said.

She was using the zombies below to practice the precision of her Flaming Arrows.

Ensuring every arrow was a precision kill required diligent practice.

At first, Lana and the others were worried about the zombies below.

But they soon realized they were the only ones who were.

She, on the other hand, seed to be observing.

Observing if her Skill landed, observing how to defeat more zombies...

Every Skill she used was an area-of-effect attack.

Not to ntion, the single Fire Serpent hovering over the horde had beco two.

An hour had passed, but she showed no signs of exhaustion.

’This person... she’s incredibly powerful!’

’Powerful enough to protect every last one of us.’

’Like The Celestial.’

"The Celestial..."

The mont Trevor realized this, the grief and resentnt in his heart vanished.

"Trevor!"

Seeing Trevor collapse, everyone beca extrely worried.

The fires below continued to burn as Nina Jacobs turned and walked over.

They had already used the Blood Stopping Spray.

’But the reason this man, Trevor, passed out is likely from overusing his Superpower and absorbing too many Crystal Cores.’

She took a bottle of water from her backpack and poured it into his mouth.

"You ca to City D Base to buy supplies?"

Nina Jacobs asked.

Lana froze. ’How does she know we ca to trade for supplies?’

But she nodded anyway. "Our clan is running out of food."

"City D Base should have supplies, so we were hoping to trade Crystal Cores for so, even just a little."

They were also Drakonians, part of an ancient clan of Drakonia.

Following their ancient traditions, they were unwilling to abandon their ancestral lands, so they established their own base there.

But now their supplies were exhausted. If they couldn’t restock, the entire clan would starve.

"Are you from the Bishop Clan?"

Nina Jacobs asked.

In her past life, she had indeed heard about the Bishop Clan at the City D Base.

But that was in the second year of the apocalypse, by which ti the Bishop Clan had been wiped out due to a lack of supplies and attacks from zombified animals.

The neighboring City D Base had supposedly given them supplies multiple tis and even suggested they rge with the base.

But the Bishop Clan mbers refused to leave their ancestral ho.

But distant water can’t quench a nearby fire, and so the Bishop Clan vanished from Drakonian history...

"You’ve heard of the Bishop Clan?"

For so reason, Greg Unger saw a flash of pity in the woman’s eyes.

"I’ll take you back to the base to heal first."

Nina Jacobs stood up.

She hadn’t finished killing all the zombies below, but it was getting late.

Lana and the others noticed that wherever they went, the molten fire on the ground below followed.

This continued until Nina Jacobs had led them all safely to a vehicle.

Before getting in, she casually used her system’s "Automatic Pickup" Skill, sucking all the Crystal Cores they’d left behind into her inventory.

"Why is your fire like this?"

The Bishop Clan mbers were always direct. Greg Unger was curious, so he asked.

"Why can he use an Ice Elent Superpower?"

Nina Jacobs answered with a question of her own, and Lana and the others looked stunned.

"Don’t tell you also received The Celestial’s Prayer Stone?"

Greg Unger’s eyes widened.

"What’s that?"

"This is it."

Lana produced a large, heavy sack from her spatial storage. Nina Jacobs nearly lost her grip on the steering wheel.

She found a zombie-free area and slamd on the brakes.

Was that an entire sack of Mystic Ice Cores?!

"These fell from the sky one night after the disaster started."

Lana explained while holding the little girl in her arms.

That’s why they call them "The Celestial’s Prayer Stones."

So, all the Bishop Clan mbers who had awakened Superpowers had absorbed these stones, but only Trevor awakened a Dual Elent Superpower.

Plus, Trevor’s Superpower was already the strongest in the clan to begin with.

That was why they had chosen Trevor to lead their warriors to the City D Base to trade for supplies...
