The light in the hall suddenly dimd.

Before anyone could react, Nina Jacobs had already darted behind Seth Quinn, pressing a sharp dagger against his neck.

"Drop your guns!"

Nina Jacobs roared, and the situation reversed in an instant.

"Where did you get a knife?"

Seth Quinn’s eyes went wide.

He was sure he’d searched her. Nina Jacobs had nothing on her.

Nina Jacobs ignored him.

She glanced over at Wayne Warner and saw him lying motionless on the floor. A pool of crimson blood was spreading out from under his head.

Like a flower blooming in silence.

"All of you, put your guns down. I’m going to have a nice chat with Miss Jacobs here."

Seth Quinn said hurriedly.

"Not down. Throw them down!"

Nina Jacobs, of course, didn’t trust these people.

"Let’s talk this out. If you let go, you can take all the supplies I have here. How about it?"

"You’re a Fire Elent Superpower User, right?

Maybe you could stay here with . I guarantee you’ll want for nothing..."

Seth Quinn raised his hands, already signaling to a few of his thugs with his eyes.

’She’s just one woman. What are all of us so afraid of?’

"Tell your n to throw all their guns down, and then we’ll talk."

Nina Jacobs said.

Seth Quinn finally relented.

Watching the thugs toss their guns down to the floor below, Nina Jacobs finally relaxed a little.

"Now you can let Mr. Quinn go, right?"

A few n on the grandstand said hastily.

"Don’t be in such a hurry. Don’t you guys like to play gas?

How about we play a ga?"

Nina Jacobs’s words gave Seth Quinn a bad feeling.

’Sothing’s not right with this woman...’

"W-what kind of ga?"

The short security guard who had been with Wayne Warner asked.

"A killing ga, of course.

You all get to vote. Who should I kill first?"

A gun materialized out of thin air in Nina Jacobs’s other hand.

Its muzzle was already aid at the short security guard.

After the gunshot, the man’s expression froze. He fell, his eyes wide open.

Only then did the people present start to feel afraid.

None of them had expected the woman to have a gun.

"W-wait, weren’t we supposed to vote?"

Seth Quinn clearly hadn’t expected Nina Jacobs to actually go through with it.

’She really kills people!’

"That’s right. I don’t have many bullets left.

Maybe after I use a few more, the ones still alive will be saved."

Nina Jacobs’s other arm held Seth Quinn in a death grip.

With the tip of the dagger at his throat, Seth Quinn didn’t dare move a muscle.

"Vote for her! I vote for her!"

A middle-aged man shoved the woman next to him forward.

BANG!

"AHH!!"

The middle-aged man scread, clutching his stomach.

"Did I ask you?" Nina Jacobs retorted.

BANG!

Another shot rang out. A thug diagonally across from her was hit and instantly fell.

"Trying to sneak attack ?"

Nina Jacobs fired several more shots in quick succession.

Each bullet precisely struck a thug.

Watching the thugs he had worked so hard to cultivate get wiped out in a matter of minutes, Seth Quinn finally realized he had picked a fight he couldn’t win.

This woman wasn’t just ruthless.

She didn’t keep her word.

"What will it take for you to let go?"

Seth Quinn asked.

"Simple. That last ga was fun. I haven’t had enough yet.

Make them all strip naked and go down there."

Nina Jacobs pointed to the terrified-looking n on the grandstand.

’They have to experience it for themselves.’

"Go to hell!"

Just then, a man on the grandstand raised a pistol and aid it at Nina Jacobs.

Seth Quinn felt the pressure behind him vanish. Nina Jacobs had actually let him go?

"Abbott, what are you doing?!"

Following two screams, the others realized that Leo Abbott, the one with the gun, seed to have gone mad.

"I can’t hit her! I can’t hit her!

She’s over there!"

Leo Abbott shouted, firing wildly.

But Nina Jacobs’s figure was like a phantom, appearing and disappearing on the dimly lit grandstand.

"A Speed Elent Superpower User?"

Seth Quinn wasn’t sure. Just monts ago, Nina Jacobs had clearly used a Fire Elent Superpower.

’Could she have two Superpowers?!’

"Give the gun!"

Seth Quinn snatched the weapon from Leo Abbott’s hands and began spraying bullets wildly across the grandstand.

Screams erupted instantly as several n pulled won in front of them to act as human shields.

Even Leo Abbott and a few others were hit.

"So what if you’re fast? Let’s see you dodge this!"

Seth Quinn wanted to keep firing, but he was out of bullets.

"Was that fun?"

A ghostly voice suddenly spoke from behind him. Seth Quinn’s eyes widened.

’It’s over.’

The stench of blood mixed with the aroma of red wine filled the air.

The zombies chained up in the hall had long since grown agitated.

Now, Seth Quinn and the two remaining n stood terrified in the middle of the zombies, snot and tears mixing on their faces.

On the grandstand, only Nina Jacobs was left.

ROAR!

The zombies lunged at the three n.

Seth Quinn kicked one of the n toward a zombie, and the man was instantly torn apart by the frenzied creature.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. So pathetic.

You couldn’t even last that long?"

Nina Jacobs looked down from above at the grueso scene below.

"Let go! I’m begging you, let go!

I’ll give you anything. I’ll do whatever you say."

Seth Quinn cried and begged for his life.

"Don’t you love to play gas?

You should thank for letting you play to your heart’s content."

Nina Jacobs ignored the pleas from the two n below.

Even though she was killing all these bastards, she didn’t feel particularly happy.

’It would be nice if soone were here to watch this with .’

The man who had been torn apart quickly turned into a zombie and disemboweled the fat man.

Seth Quinn’s body was covered in bloody scratches from the zombies, but he hadn’t given up on dodging.

"His will to live is pretty strong."

Nina Jacobs watched Seth Quinn frantically trying to hide below.

But the more he struggled, the more zombies he attracted. Soon, he was pinned to the ground by one of them.

"Now *this* is ga over."

Nina Jacobs heard the system’s notification:

[System has detected that the host’s actions will save 113 humans in 1, 3, 6, and 10 days. Triggering the "Selfless Savior" title. Reward: 113 bottles of "Healing Potion."]

[System has detected that the host has completed an act of self-defense. Triggering "The Best Defender" title. Reward: "Fire Elent Skill Book"!]

’A Fire Elent Skill Book?’

Nina Jacobs’s mood finally improved a little.

She had originally followed Blondie here to try her luck and see if she could trigger any system rewards.

In the hall, Seth Quinn and his n had all turned into zombies.

Just as Nina Jacobs was about to go down and deal with the zombies, a hand grabbed her.

She looked down and saw that it was Wayne Warner.

’He’s still breathing?’

Nina Jacobs knelt down. Hadn’t Wayne Warner been shot in the head?

"Th-thank you..."

Wayne Warner managed to say.

"As expected of a Strength Elent Superpower User."

After checking Wayne Warner’s wounds, Nina Jacobs was surprised to find that many of the bullets hadn’t fully penetrated his body.

This was Strength Enhancent, a unique skill for a Strength Elent Superpower User.

It allowed them to channel their Strength Elent Superpower to the surface of their skin, making their bodies nigh-invulnerable.

But in her past life, a skill like Strength Enhancent wasn’t achieved until the fourth year of the apocalypse, during the later stages for an Interdiate Superpower User.

Yet Wayne Warner had only just awakened his Strength Elent Superpower.

"It would be a sha if you died."

Nina Jacobs took out a bottle of Healing Potion and slowly poured it into the unconscious Wayne Warner’s mouth...
