Ou Family study.
"Speak, what happened?" Ou Jun sat in front of the desk and asked Ou Cong.
"It’s just..." Ou Cong told his older brother everything exactly as it had happened.
"Brother, you can’t bla Jiao Jiao for this; she had good intentions," Ou Cong explained in defense of "Ou Jiao" after finishing the story, "We’ve also investigated her and Xia Lan."
"After all, Xia Lan helped her when Jiao Jiao was having the toughest ti in her life; that’s why Jiao Jiao trusts Xia Lan more."
"Their relationship is quite good... ahem, so I an, it’s not entirely ’Jiao Jiao’s’ fault."
Ou Jun’s face was stern; he remained silent, staring at his younger brother for quite so ti, before finally saying with utmost seriousness, "Second son, is Jiao Jiao simply naive, or foolishly kind-hearted?"
"As her family, we should be correcting her, not indulging her!"
Ou Jun’s tone was very harsh.
"Zhicheng, what about you, what do you think?" Ou Jun then asked Song Zhicheng with a stern face.
Song Zhicheng hesitated slightly before saying, "Indeed, ’Ou Jiao’s’ character does have its issues."
"But..."
Song Zhicheng lowered his eyes, and continued, "Her character... it’s probably heavily influenced by her childhood experiences."
"So, at the end of the day, the fault lies with and Ou Cong."
"Ridiculous!" Ou Jun frowned and scolded, "That’s exactly why we cannot indulge her even more!"
"Brother..." Seeing his older brother was angry, Ou Cong quickly stepped forward, trying to say sothing.
Ou Jun raised his hand, saying, "I will be going on a business trip out of town tomorrow and will stop by our mother’s on the way to bring our parents back."
"I hope that during this ti, you all can keep an eye on ’Jiao Jiao’ and ensure she doesn’t do anything she shouldn’t."
"Everything else can wait until our parents return."
After speaking, Ou Jun had Ou Cong and Song Zhicheng leave.
After sending the two away, Ou Jun sat in silence for a long ti before making a phone call.
At the sanatorium, Mrs. Ou, whose health had greatly improved, was taking a walk with Ou ZhenTing.
Upon finding out their son was calling, Mrs. Ou and Ou ZhenTing returned to take the call.
"Hello, Junjun?" Mrs. Ou was the first to speak, "Is anything the matter in Capital City? Did sothing happen to ’Jiao Jiao’?"
The first question Mrs. Ou always asked over the phone was about her daughter.
Hearing his mother’s cheerful voice, Ou Jun couldn’t help but ask Mrs. Ou, "Mom, have you really seen Jiao Jiao?"
Mrs. Ou, hearing her son’s question, imdiately laughed and said, "What, don’t you believe your mother, huh? Junjun, I have seen Jiao Jiao!"
"No..." Ou Jun hurriedly replied, "I just wanted to know, in Mom’s eyes, what kind of child is Jiao Jiao?"
"Jiao Jiao? She is exactly as I had imagined her!" Mrs. Ou’s voice beca very gentle at the ntion of her daughter, "The child is sensible, understanding, and calm..."
Ou Jun’s frown deepened, and after a mont of silence, he said, "Mom, I’m going on a business trip tomorrow, and in a couple of days, I’ll co over to bring you and Dad back."
Mrs. Ou, hearing this, was especially excited, "Does that an I can see Jiao Jiao very soon?"
"Yes," Ou Jun replied over the phone.
After hanging up the call, Ou Jun lingered on the phone for a long while.
Sotis, he felt that the sister his mother spoke of and the sister he saw were not the sa person at all.
Well, perhaps it was just that Jiao Jiao didn’t like him, which was why her temper was so bad.
And being closer by blood, Jiao Jiao would naturally behave better in front of her mother.
