Su Susu said loudly to Huo Zhongcheng, "I just want to give the children more options, that’s all."
As she spoke, she seed oblivious to any wrongdoing and appeared quite self-righteous.
Seeing this, Huo Zhongcheng shook his head in disappointnt and said, "Susu, this is the last ti I’m warning you, stop playing gas."
At this point, Huo Zhongcheng couldn’t help but sigh before continuing, "Aren’t you just worried that Shiqian will be successful in the future and neglect his family?"
He knew that Su Susu always felt that he favored Shiqian or provided Shiqian with more resources.
Little did she know that Shiqian had achieved his status largely through his own efforts.
Huo Zhongcheng then said, "Susu, since you think this way, from now on, you should focus your efforts on Lang and Qing, and take good care of them."
"Nurture them well," Huo Zhongcheng said earnestly. "If they are doing well, won’t you be doing well too?"
This essentially promised Su Susu that family resources could be allocated to the younger two.
Huo Zhongcheng understood his children—Shiqian was the one he was proudest of and least worried about.
He didn’t need to push from behind, Shiqian’s future was boundless.
As for the other two children, compared to their elder brother, both in terms of IQ and temperant, there were so discrepancies; naturally, they needed more help from the family.
