“?” Lin Gantang: “Are you crazy?” You’re planning for the next generation already?
Yin Zhen stuffed the documents back into her hands, “This year’s pany gala will be more spectacular than last year’s, dazzling with stars. I’m inviting you.”
“Too many people, it’s inconvenient to go while pregnant.” Lin Gantang refused but changed the subject, “Have you gotten a dog at home? Haven’t seen Auntie Ying in a while, I should visit some time.”
Yin Zhen wondered, “Who said I have a dog at home?”

Lin Gantang was at home making dumplings when Butler Lu came by.

Butler Lu handed her two invitation cards with a smile, “No urgent matter, these are tickets for the art exhibit. Mr. Lin noticed you’ve bought paintings from Time Gallery before and guessed you’d be interested, so he asked me to bring them to you.”
The art exhibit was organized by Time Gallery but was being held at a well-known art museum in C City.
As Butler Lu explained, the exhibit invited veteran and famous painters and collectors, socialites, entrepreneurs, and leaders from cultural associations. With such high-profile positioning, the invites weren’t something just anyone could get their hands on.
Besides appreciation and auction, there would also be opportunities to paint and interact with the older generation.
Thinking of the paintings at home, Lin Gantang thought of Che Qin.
To her, this invitation was simply an opportunity to look around or perhaps buy a pleasing piece, but for Che Qin, it might be an invaluable chance.
“Thank you for the trouble, Uncle Lu.” Lin Gantang accepted the invitation cards and turned to hand him a full portion of dumplings, “Please take these home, it’s the beef filling my brother and the rest of them like.”
Butler Lu happily took them, “All right, if there’s nothing else, I’ll head back now. Sir will definitely be happy to see the dumplings you made.”
