"Hello, interviewers!" Lou Xi greeted the three interviewers with a bit of surprise.

The female interviewer, Susan, pointed to a seat, indicating for her to sit down quickly, implying not to delay the subsequent interviews. Her face was stern as if she had hormonal imbalances.

"Hi there." Unexpectedly, Su Lin, who hadn’t spoken before, responded to Lou Xi’s greeting.

The other two interviewers simultaneously glanced at Su Lin, but Su Lin was the president’s efficient assistant. This recruitnt included a position for a presidency office assistant, essentially making them Su Li’s direct subordinate, working alongside the president in the future.

Previously, Su Lin hadn’t spoken, but his expression showed he wasn’t satisfied with this batch of interviewees.

However, when Lou Xi ca in, the usually aloof Assistant Su actually greeted the interviewee.

But after greeting, Assistant Su sat down rigidly again, and began carefully examining the resus.

The female interviewer, Susan, asked so standard questions, which school did you graduate from, what work experience you have...

Li Ruolan, however, spoke eloquently. She was originally from the school’s debate club, claiming she previously interned at a top 100 global company or sothing like that...

When it was Lou Xi’s turn, Su Lin put down the resu in his hand and asked, "Lou, can you tell us what you did before?"

Lou Xi t Su Lin’s gaze. He was serious, without an ounce of favoritism despite their previous encounter.

She sat upright and answered, "I’m a third-year student at Nan University, majoring in finance, and previously worked part-ti in a restaurant."

"Restaurant?" Su Lin paused.

Others interviewing chuckled softly.

"Yes, just a regular waiter, recomnding daily specials to custors." Lou Xi spoke her truth; she hadn’t interned at big companies or held high academic degrees, only worked as a server in a restaurant.

"Hmm." Su Lin nodded lightly, then looked at the cake in front of the interviewees and said, "There’s a cake in front of you, think about how to divide it so everyone in this eting room can have a piece."

Lou Xi grumbled inwardly about what sort of question this was, cake-cutting? Do interviews co with cake?

She hadn’t eaten cake in a long ti...

So, after Su Lin finished speaking, she picked up the knife to cut the cake, thinking there were ten people in the eting room including interviewers and two staff.

Even numbers, easy to cut.

So she made the cut decisively.

She divided the cake into ten pieces, placing each piece on a plate. Once she finished, she suddenly realized why she was the only one who had actually cut the cake?

The other four had only drawn out their cake division plans on paper and hadn’t really cut the cake.

At that mont, Lou Xi’s expression was one of surprise; did she do sothing wrong?

But Su Lin clearly said to cut the cake...

She caught sight of the sympathetic look from Li Ruolan, and her lips curled with a slight mockery, as if saying: Fool, if everyone cut the cake like you, wouldn’t Jia Sheng Group have to prepare more than two hundred cakes today?

No matter, Lou Xi turned her head away, first placing a plate with cake in front of each of the three interviewers, then gave plates to the two staff mbers, and finally to the other interviewees, saving one piece for herself.

"Alright, your interviews are over." Su Lin looked at the cake in front of him and finally displayed his first smile of the day.
