Hearing the child’s cries, Old Lady Yun rushed out of the kitchen: “Old man, what’s happened to you?”
“I fell, hurry and help up.” Old Man Yun grumbled.
Old Lady Yun quickly went over to help her husband stand up, but Old Man Yun couldn’t stand. He groaned in pain and had his grandson drag over his usual reclining chair for him to lie on.
“Go call our eldest son to bring an ambulance.”
Old Lady Yun said, “Why call an ambulance, are they free? Just tell our eldest son to bring his leader’s car to take you to the hospital, that’s enough.”
Reluctant to call an ambulance, luckily the eldest son did bring back their leader’s car and took Old Man Yun to the hospital.
The doctor set Old Man Yun’s broken leg and administered an IV drip. Only then did Eldest Son Yun ask about the visitors today.
“What did those two people say today? How could the old man just fall all of a sudden?”
