Chapter 1117: Piercing Heartache
Although the apology ca late, Gu Ming finally apologized.
Hai Xue’s hand froze for a mont and said, "It’s all in the past now, no need to say sorry anymore."

But usually, they lived separately.
Yang iyin also felt hatred, and a bit of regret, but since Gu Ming could bring her status, she had to accept it. Her heart harbored hatred toward Hai Xue as well.

This tangled web of love and hate turned her from a graceful and gentle lady into a calculating woman, wholeheartedly hoping her son would make a na for himself, to restore her honor.
But the experience of being poisoned by Ye Qing opened her eyes to everything, letting go of decades of persistence.
