Chapter 570: Am I Hallucinating?
ngyu once again draws her bow and notches an arrow, releasing five arrows and taking down five wild boars.
After several rounds of shooting, she has taken down the entire group of wild boars.
ngyu stores all the wild boars in the Space House and after ditating to restore her Divine Sense, she continues traveling by flying on her fan.
She finds the mountains and waters in this region particularly beautiful; sights she couldn’t normally see.
In fact, it’s not that they can’t be seen at other tis, but since her rebirth, she’s been mingling in the mortal world and has rarely had the chance to get close to nature.
After flying about a hundred li, ngyu sees a large lake of more than a hundred acres nested among a range of mountains ahead. It looks like a gem that has fallen into the Human World, exceptionally beautiful.
It’s truly unexpected to find such a lovely place in this seldom-visited area.
What attracts ngyu even more is that there’s a group of spotted deer drinking by the lake.
Deer, precious in every part!
She suddenly thought, what if she collected these spotted deer into her Space House?
Aside from the spotted deer, there are also groups of wild sheep and so wild monkeys by the lake.
ngyu’s Divine Sense can cover a radius of four li. Thus, if she were to collect the spotted deer into her space, and raise them, she wouldn’t need to hunt for deer at anymore.
ngyu stealthily approaches the deer. Just as her Divine Sense begins to envelop the area and she intends to lock onto only the herd of spotted deer, the largest stag imdiately senses it. Right before it can emit a warning cry, ngyu with a single thought commands, "Collect!"
Not just the thirty-six spotted deer but also the over sixty wild sheep and the wild monkeys, a total of over one hundred and thirty wild creatures are all collected into the Space House.
Almost simultaneously, she herself enters the Space House, her complexion turning pale.
Indeed, collecting hundreds of animals into the Space House at once has depleted her Divine Sense again.
As ngyu rests in the Space House to recover her Divine Sense, she feels it growing slightly, the distance she can perceive has increased from four li to slightly more than four.
However, this thod of depleting the Divine Sense to increase it is quite unpleasant.
After recovering her Divine Sense, she leaves the Space House and heads towards the lake—she’s taken a fancy to the fish in it— her space’s river doesn’t have fish.
She puts up a defensive shield around herself before entering the lake.
The water in the lake is deep, and although ngyu can see beyond four li on land, her vision is reduced underwater.
At the bottom of the lake, her Divine Sense is restricted, enabling her to see only around two hundred ters and not the lakebed.
ngyu finds that there are many species of fish in the lake, so astonishingly large. She collects them into her Space House as she encounters them, realizing that as long as she doesn’t collect too many animals at once, her Divine Sense can naturally replenish without being completely depleted.
Using her Divine Sense to survey the surroundings, she notices a ring of dazzling light ahead and wonders curiously what could produce such light at the bottom of the lake.
She swims towards the circle of light.
Upon getting closer, she discovers that the light source is a large shell organism, its open shell as big as a tire, and exuding radiance from a circle of pink pearls inside.
The largest of these pearls are the size of ping pong balls, with the smallest being as big as a finger. ngyu is overjoyed at the sight, as these pearls are extrely valuable. She quickly collects the large shell into her Space House with a thought.
Looking around, there are many more of these large shells in the vicinity. ngyu doesn’t bother to check if they contain pearls; she simply collects any she sees into her Space House.
It seems that apart from these large shells, there are no fish here. Could it be that the fish fear these giant shells?
But that’s not right; shells don’t eat fish, do they?
While swimming, she suddenly cos to a stop—she blinks once, then again. Is she starting to hallucinate?
