Chapter 807: The Struggle

But as the first wave fell back into the sea, a larger wave surged up from the sea, crashing towards the shore.
ngyu had to fan again, and as the wave fell, she used her Divine Sense to discover a giant creature rolling in the sea, the very thing that had stirred up the waves earlier.
Moreover, she slled blood. Clearly, the giant creature was injured. Its rolling motion generated huge waves.
ngyu quickly tossed away her fan, then pulled out the Spiritual Bow and Arrow, drawing the bow and aiming the arrow at the giant creature.
One arrow directly hit the bleeding wound between the creature’s eyes.
The giant creature rolled more violently, but being pressured by ngyu, it struggled to create another monstrous wave.
Suddenly, ngyu realized that soone was clinging to the giant creature. Her heart sank as her Divine Sense scanned it: the person was Gu Dongxing!
Though Gu Dongxing clung tightly to the dragon snake’s body, he had already passed out.
With his eyes tightly closed and face pale, Gu Dongxing still retained his incomparable beauty, making ngyu’s heart ache imnsely.
It was obvious that Gu Dongxing’s disappearance was due to fighting this giant creature underwater.
Yet this giant creature seed to be growing horns, while Gu Dongxing was only at the Foundation Establishnt Peak. It looked like a pyrrhic victory—Gu Dongxing had passed out, and the dragon snake wouldn’t last long, even if ngyu didn’t shoot it.
ngyu thought that if she hadn’t co, even if Gu Dongxing could barely kill the dragon snake, he would have been at the end of his strength, and his n had already perished.
Then, even if he escaped to the shore, could he survive?
ngyu shot two more arrows, each penetrating wounds that already existed, causing the giant creature’s dragon body to twist a few tis and continue rolling.
Each ti, it brought Gu Dongxing to the surface of the water, then pulled him back under.
ngyu didn’t care if the dragon snake was still alive and jumped down.

Yet Gu Dongxing clung so tightly to the dragon snake that she couldn’t pull him down. anwhile, the dragon snake continued its final death throes, constantly rolling.
Because she couldn’t pull Gu Dongxing down, she had to hold onto him, rolling along with the dragon snake, dodging its tail strikes or attacks, and countering its tail’s attacks.
Whenever there was a chance, she would strike the sword securing Gu Dongxing at the dragon snake’s vital point, driving the flying sword deeper into the dragon snake’s fatal spot.
ngyu didn’t know how long she fought underwater; she only had one belief: kill the Evil Flood Dragon, protect the unconscious Gu Dongxing, live together if Gu Dongxing lived, die together if he died!
