Ning Youguang had just sent off her client and turned to see Shi Wangyue standing by the wall, his expression deep and thoughtful.
"What brings you here?" She leaned against the door, her smile casual and inviting.
"I knew you were nearly done, so I ca to check on you." Shi Wangyue walked up to her.

After the two strolled back to the dormitory.
Ning Youguang noticed that a new refrigerator had already been placed in the dorm.
In addition, the room had been cleaned thoroughly, spotless and immaculate.
Through the breeze, the air was filled with the fragrance of freshly dried linens.
"Was everything handled so quickly?" As she took slippers from the shoe rack to change, she noticed a pair of n’s slippers beside hers, "Did you bring these slippers?"
She had left in a hurry that morning and hadn’t seen what exactly Shi Wangyue had brought over in those two big bags.
Shi Wangyue picked up the n’s slippers and changed into them himself, "Yeah, I hope it’s not too presumptuous. I think wearing slippers indoors is more comfortable."
Ning Youguang raised an eyebrow, "Why would it be? If you hadn’t brought them, I was planning to buy a pair today."
Previously, Shi Wangyue ntioned staying in the capital for a while.
Given their friendship, he would certainly visit her ho often in the future.
Ning Youguang walked to the fridge and opened its door to find the freezer and fresh section, filled with various foods neatly organized.
So food that had thawed slightly had been restored and refrozen, looking no different from before.

Ning Youguang was surprised, "You can cook?"
Shi Wangyue nodded, "How many people who study abroad for a few years don’t co back as master chefs?"
Ning Youguang was overjoyed, "Fantastic, I’ll go wash the fryer, and then it’s all up to you, Chef."
With that, she turned and dashed to the kitchen.
Shi Wangyue laughed behind her, "I’ve already washed it all."
Ning Youguang stopped in her tracks and upon entering the kitchen, found it sparkling clean.
She exclaid, "Oh my, are you the Tianluo Girl?"
Shi Wangyue appeared at the kitchen entrance, "Since I needed to tidy up anyway, I just did it all."
Ning Youguang was stunned, "What have you been doing overseas all these years? How co you know everything so well?!"
A successful big shot, yet so adept in cooking and housework too!
"After living alone for a long ti, you learn to do everything yourself. You do it often, and it becos a habit," Shi Wangyue said.
Ning Youguang was shocked and asked, "You didn’t hire anyone?"
Shi Wangyue paused, slightly lowering his gaze, "I don’t like other people coming to my place."
His voice had a somber tone that hinted at a suppressed sadness.
Ning Youguang thought for a mont and said, "In that case, it seems you shouldn’t live in a big house later."
Not having staff to do housework yet living in a large villa would be too much trouble.
Shi Wangyue felt the need to explain, "Only in places where I’m the sole occupant, I prefer no visitors."
Ning Youguang raised an intrigued brow, "Oh?"

It was nearly eleven o’clock.
Ning Youguang’s dorm room began to fill with the rich aroma of cooked als.
Having learned about the young man’s impressive culinary skills, she took this opportunity to have him handle all the older food in the fridge.
Shi Wangyue thoroughly washed the chicken nuggets and strips, marinated them, and placed them in the air fryer to fry.
He divided the pork ribs in two, using so to make a pot of yam and pork rib soup for lunch, while the rest were cooked into sweet and sour ribs, perfect with rice.
The remaining fish, seafood balls, and similar items were portioned and packed by Ning Youguang, ready to be given to the teachers upstairs and downstairs after Shi Wangyue finished cooking.
The visually appealing fruit was halved to give away, keeping so to enjoy slowly.
The less attractive ones were juiced.
After a good deal of bustling about together.
Aside from so sea cucumber, bird’s nest, appealing fruits, cheese, and Lanhuang eggs, the new fridge was almost empty.
Looking at the now largely empty fridge, Ning Youguang said to Shi Wangyue, who was bringing out a fresh pitcher of juice from the kitchen, "Life should be light and easy; we must forbid them from sending so much food again in the future."
"We must eliminate unnecessary waste!"
Shi Wangyue smiled slightly, "Actually, it’s fine. With more people to eat, it’ll be gone quickly."
Ning Youguang tilted her head thoughtfully, "That seems true."

It was unclear whether it was due to Shi Wangyue’s culinary expertise or the quality of the ingredients.
Regardless, once the dishes were done, Ning Youguang found herself unable to step away from the stove.
"Slls wonderful."
Shi Wangyue opened the pot and held a piece of chicken strip up with chopsticks to her mouth, "Have a taste, it’s a bit hot, so eat slowly."
Ning Youguang leaned over and ate the entire strip off his chopsticks.
Even while being scalded, she couldn’t bear to spit it out, "It’s delicious!"
She gave Shi Wangyue a double thumbs-up.
Chuckling, Shi Wangyue handed her the juice from the kitchen counter, "Have so juice."
Ning Youguang swallowed the chicken strip, took the juice, and drank it in big gulps, feeling overwhelmingly satisfied.
There was plenty of juice today, enough for her to sip from pre-al to post-al.
As Shi Wangyue continued cooking, Ning Youguang packed the fried chicken nuggets and strips into bags, occasionally sneaking a bite.
Truly a little foodie indeed.
Gentle amusent filled Shi Wangyue’s eyes.

From morning to noon, the National Science and Technology University staff dormitory building was perated with a rich food aroma.
Even Teacher Wang, who ca down to throw trash, couldn’t help but peek into Ning Youguang’s dormitory where the fragrance ca from, "Ms. Ning, what delicious thing are you cooking today? It slls amazing!"
Upon hearing the voice, Ning Youguang erged from the kitchen, "Frying so chicken strips and nuggets. Please wait a mont; I’ll get you so."
Teacher Wang waved her hands quickly, "No, no, I was just curious and ca to take a look."
Ning Youguang hurried back to the kitchen and brought out two bags, "These were originally ant to be shared with everyone. The fridge broke this morning, and the ingredients had to be used up, or they’d go to waste."
After hearing this, Teacher Wang accepted without further protest, "Did the fridge get fixed?"
"A friend sent over a new one, so it’s all sorted." Ning Youguang cheerfully handed her the fried chicken strips and nuggets.
"Thank you so much, Ms. Ning," Teacher Wang happily accepted them.
Next, Ning Youguang began delivering fried chicken and seafood balls to her colleagues and neighbors upstairs.
Thus, soon enough, the staff residing in the dormitory at the National Science and Technology University who were slightly closer with Ning Youguang not only received fried chicken and seafood balls from her but also learned that she had a friend who is exceptionally skilled in cooking.
