Ning Youguang closed her eyes and sniffed, "Very comforting, a warm scent."
"Yes, that’s the feeling I have too." Yu Xian chuckled softly.
"Do you have any extra? Give a few boxes." Ning Youguang imdiately asked for them.
"I only made a small batch since the osmanthus in the yard just blood this year, and there are only four boxes left." Yu Xian said.
"I’ll take all four boxes." Ning Youguang said quite unabashedly, "What’s the na of this incense?"
The owner, accustod to her brazen behavior, replied helplessly, "Leisure Moon."
"Leisure Moon?" Ning Youguang pondered briefly, "Is it based on the saying ’When people are idle, osmanthus falls’?"
Yu Xian’s eyes crinkled with a smile, "Yes."
"Great, I’ll take all four boxes of ’Leisure Moon’ and match it with an incense holder."
"For a guy." She added.
Yu Xian was montarily surprised, then smiled and said, "I’ll bring a few, you choose yourself."
In the end, Ning Youguang chose a gentlen’s bamboo upright incense holder.
...
When Shi Wangyue arrived at "Wujian Zizai" by car, it was already twilight.
Yu Xian personally escorted Ning Youguang to the courtyard entrance, and only then did they wave goodbye.
Sitting in the car, Shi Wangyue saw Ning Youguang standing at the entrance talking to a young man, who was dressed in white. Under the courtyard lights, he appeared graceful and elegant.
"’Leisure Moon,’ for you." Sitting in the passenger seat, Ning Youguang handed the gift box in her hand to Shi Wangyue.
Shi Wangyue was taken aback, "What?"
"Yu Xian’s new incense, I think it slls nice, I’ll share half with you." Ning Youguang explained with a smile.
"Thank you." Shi Wangyue reached out to take it and placed it in the back seat of the car.
"Was Yu Xian the person who just sent you out?" Shi Wangyue asked while driving.
"Yes, he’s the tea house owner and also an incense maker," Ning Youguang said, "I often buy incense from him and sotis bring clients over for a case study."
"Is he running the tea house by himself?" Shi Wangyue asked casually.
"No, with his boyfriend." Ning Youguang replied matter-of-factly.
"That’s nice, we should co together next ti." Shi Wangyue was satisfied.
"Sure, let’s co for tea next ti." Ning Youguang was enthusiastic, "His tea house is great, very serene."
...
Shi Wangyue took Ning Youguang to a barbecue restaurant just behind Financial Street, it wasn’t big.
When they arrived, there weren’t many people in the restaurant either.
Ning Youguang stood at the entrance, looking at the few stray cats inside, very puzzled.
She was now very skeptical about the truth of Shi Wangyue’s claim that this barbecue place was popular.
Seeing her expression, Shi Wangyue laughed, "Assistant Jin said their place is a hidden gem on this street, specializing in grilled lamb skewers. You see fewer custors now, but after ten-thirty, you’ll see their guests fill this street."
Ning Youguang beca interested, "Oh?"
Shi Wangyue continued, "I often see their place packed with people when I finish work in the evening."
As they sat down, a Uighur man with distinct features brought over the nu.
"Their red willow grilled lamb skewers are excellent," Shi Wangyue said while ticulously wiping the table with a napkin.
Ning Youguang raised an eyebrow, "Looks like you’ve been here before?"
Shi Wangyue nodded, "Of course, I wouldn’t bring you here without trying it myself first."
Ning Youguang smiled brightly, "Alright, then you order, I’ll wait to eat."
After sanitizing the cups and bowls, Shi Wangyue picked up the nu to place an order.
When the owner collected the nu, he brought them two plates of cold dishes.
One plate of green edama, another of well-seasoned braised lotus root.
"Sothing to tide you over." Shi Wangyue pushed the edama towards Ning Youguang.
