"Is there a relationship between awareness and awakening?" Zhuang Yijing continued to ask.
"Through awareness, awakening is possible, because awareness ans it is a conscious act. Our usual activities, so are unconscious, but if we beco conscious in them, then it becos awareness. So, from regular unconscious activities to awakening, there is a gap, and it can be filled with awareness," Ning Youguang answered.
"So, awareness is a tool, a thod, a path towards awakening?" Zhuang Yijing.

"Then what about the relationship between consciousness and awareness?" Zhuang Yijing.
"Awareness is a state, and consciousness is a ans towards awareness. If you start to beco conscious of your actions, of things happening daily, of everything surrounding you, then you begin to have awareness. Awareness cos as a natural result of consciousness," Ning Youguang.
"Can I train this ans? Can I train awareness?" Zhuang Yijing.
"You can train this ans, but you cannot train awareness. You can only train your consciousness," Ning Youguang.
"What is the thod to train consciousness?" Zhuang Yijing.
"It’s to make every mont you are awake conscious," Ning Youguang.
"That seems difficult," Zhuang Yijing concluded after serious thinking.
"If you don’t force yourself to have high awareness in a very short ti, it won’t be difficult," Ning Youguang said. "Awareness is sothing we should and can spend a lifeti enhancing and practicing. As long as you’re willing, you can practice observing your thoughts and ideas every mont you are awake, whether you are alone or with many people. When your awareness improves, you can see your true self and better control and manage your mind."
