“You know this many spells?! Why didn’t you use them earlier?”

Welinte looked at Fulan with shock in her eyes. In front of them lay Thors, covered in wounds. Blood slowly flowed from his injuries as he collapsed on the ground, his life or death uncertain.

“I simply didn’t think of using that spell at the ti.”

Fulan explained. She had indeed forgotten about the spell and had not expected its effect to be so good.

After Thors’s armor had been weakened by Fulan’s Brittle Armor, their attacks were no longer striking sothing as hard as solid stone, but sothing that had beco slightly more fragile.

That allowed them to finish the battle quickly.

Welinte still stared at Fulan in amazent. Previously, she had not witnessed Fulan’s combat directly. She only knew that Fulan was stronger than herself, but she had not known by how much.

Yet during their joint attack on Thors just now, she had keenly noticed that Fulan was not only far stronger in close combat than when they had first t, but the number of spells she possessed had far exceeded Welinte’s expectations.

“You’re incredibly lucky to find so many spells… and they’re all useful,” Welinte said with a trace of jealousy.

Normally, a Spirit Realm Excursionist at the apprentice stage could only obtain four or five skills at most, and they were not necessarily suitable for them.

This was because the Spirit Realm had a kind of limit-setting chanism. Once you had acquired enough spells or combat techniques, the probability of obtaining new ones in the future would decrease.

For example, Welinte herself had obtained two spells. That sounded good in theory, but one of those spells required three seconds of chanting before it could be cast.

Without a complete set of equipnt that enhanced spells, even after chanting for three seconds, the damage dealt was not much higher than Lightning Impact. After using it a few tis, she had simply abandoned the spell.

As for Fulan, from what Welinte had observed during the battle just now, Fulan had even displayed a defensive spell that covered her body. In total, she had four spells—and every one of them was useful.

In addition, Welinte could tell that Fulan possessed several combat techniques as well. Otherwise, there was no way to explain why Fulan’s physical abilities were so high.

With such a configuration, it was practically the ideal setup Welinte had dread of when she had first entered the Spirit Realm. The thought filled her with envy.

“Let’s search this place quickly. Soone might co soon.”

Fulan raised an eyebrow and reminded her.

Perhaps her earlier guess had been correct—that the guards were all patrolling outside at the mont. When they entered, they had not encountered a single guard blocking their way.

Although so of the servants had also consud dragonification potions, they did not even know how to use weapons. Their bodies were rely stronger, and the two of them defeated them easily.

The only obstacle worth ntioning had been the Priest in front of them.

“You’re right. I’ll search this side, you take the other.”

Welinte knew ti was tight and did not waste any words. She imdiately began searching.

After a quick sweep of the area, the two of them arrived in front of a large door.

Welinte pushed on it with her hand, but the door did not move at all. Sothing behind it seed to be bracing it shut.

“Looks like this is the only place left.”

They had already searched most of the building. Everything else had been resting quarters or areas for worship. There was no possibility that the potion materials they needed were stored there.

But this place had a locked door—and despite searching everywhere, they had not found the key.

“Then let’s break the door,” Fulan suggested.

Welinte agreed. They had already spent too much ti here.

Fulan cast Brittle Armor and, using the specialty of the Modification School, amplified the spell’s effect before firing it at a section of the door.

Welinte stopped holding back. She raised her greatsword and slamd it fiercely into the targeted area.

BANG!

The trendous impact shook the entire building. So unstable sections rattled loudly with clattering noises.

Dust rose from the part of the door that had been struck. When the dust cleared, thick stone material inside the door was revealed.

The two of them had never expected to break it open in a single strike. They repeated the process again.

Finally, on the third attempt, they created a hole large enough for a person to crawl through.

The two of them hurried inside and saw the scene within.

The entire room was surrounded by thick stone, completely sealed off with no visible exits—aside from the door behind them.

At the center of the room was a patch of soil where a type of plant was growing. Nearby stood a large lid that seed to be covering sothing.

“Are these the materials for the dragonification potion?” Welinte asked. She had no knowledge of alchemy.

Fulan stepped forward to inspect the plant. Its stems were covered with tiny thorns, and at the tip was a small spherical bud that looked like an immature flower.

However, Fulan knew the plant was already mature. The distinct scent of a fully grown plant filled the air, leaving her absolutely certain.

“This should only be one of the ingredients. There must be another.”

Fulan turned to look at the large lid beside it. She felt certain that the other material was beneath it.

Sothing glowing was embedded in the ceiling of the room, seemingly used to assist the growth of the plant. By its light, Fulan saw what lay beneath the lid.

About one or two ters below the ground surface was a pool of red liquid. It appeared to be boiling, with ripples constantly forming on its surface.

Fulan frowned.

She was certain these were the materials used to create the dragonification potion. With her Extraordinary-level Pharmacology, she could even vaguely sense that these two materials could produce an extrely powerful potion.

But the problem lay in the liquid below.

She could feel that the liquid possessed an extrely high grade—far beyond the first tier.

She wondered whether this liquid might be connected to the destruction of Monsa City seven days later.

What shocked her even more was the sheer quantity of it.

The pool covered at least twelve square ters. Judging from the marks on the nearby walls, the liquid had once filled the pit high enough that it could be reached by hand from the ground.

“Hey, are you done yet? We don’t have much ti.”

Welinte urged from the side.

She had already started pulling up the plants by their roots, but seeing Fulan staring blankly below made her anxious.

“Almost.”

Fulan knew they could not delay any longer.

She used Water Control. To Welinte’s astonishnt, the liquid below rose into the air and flowed into a nearby bucket.

When Luca received a report from a guard that the sll of blood had been detected inside the Divine Revelation Hall, he imdiately rushed in with his n and barely managed to save Thors from dying.

Then he and the Guard Squad stared at the large hole in the door.

At that mont, they felt as if the sky itself were about to collapse.
