'If I'm not mistaken, that guy is definitely Gawain, right?'

'Why is he here...?'

And why is Gray in a place like this?

In front of the lake not far away, Alvin looked at the girl surrounded by knights with a doubtful look.

Gray, as one of the students at the Clock Tower, actually had a fairly close relationship with him.

Back when Alvin first transmigrated to the Clock Tower and beca Kayneth's disciple, he had accompanied Kayneth to a small village in Wales and brought Gray to the Clock Tower.

Counting the ti, the two had known each other for a while now.

Although it wasn't clear why Gray was here, one thing seed certain.

—He wasn't the only transmigrator.

Just as Alvin was thinking about this, he suddenly heard a faint hum coming from the distance.

The gray-haired girl, who had just been trapped, suddenly erupted with magical energy, breaking free from the encirclent.

Wearing a pair of small deerskin boots, just as she broke free, she ran with all her might toward the entrance of the forest not far ahead.

It was exactly the direction where Alvin was.

"Hmph, trying to escape?"

Beside Gawain, another man with a sowhat gloomy deanor stepped forward and drew the sword at his waist as an overwhelmingly powerful sword aura pressed toward Gray's direction.

It was one of the Knights of the Round Table, the Iron Knight, Agravain.

Sensing the terrifying sword aura approaching from behind, Gray raised her hand and softly chanted sothing.

In an instant, a glimr of light appeared at her fingertips.

*Boom!*

However, before Gray's spell could fully form, Agravain's terrifying sword aura had already landed in front of her.

Gray's footsteps ca to an abrupt halt, her body stiffening slightly.

"Give up the struggle. You outsiders who desecrate the dead, your magic and magic circuits are pitifully weak."

Agravain slowly stepped forward, his sword in hand, his tone filled with coldness, as if stating a simple fact.

"Agravain, don't go too far. She's just a child," Gawain reminded him.

As he spoke, his gaze couldn't help but linger on the gray-haired girl for a few more monts.

For a brief mont, the golden-haired man, whose strength was second only to the chief knight, showed a hint of wariness in his eyes.

This wariness was not toward Gray, but toward the 'Witch.'

She looked too similar... This girl's appearance was almost identical to Morgan le Fay's.

If it weren't for the fact that her attire matched the 'transmigrators' who had recently appeared in the Calot Empire, Gawain might have even suspected she was the daughter of that guy and Morgan le Fay.

Not far away, Agravain had already reached Gray.

"Given up?"

Seeing the girl standing completely still, Agravain's lips curled into a faint, cold smile as he spoke. "You're smart. Surrendering will save you from unnecessary suffering."

As he spoke, he raised his hand, signaling to two armored knights nearby, who stepped forward and took Gray back to the group.

The wind rustled through the forest, the leaves making a soft, whispering sound.

Agravain was about to leave when he stopped abruptly and subconsciously turned his head to look at the forest entrance behind him with a hint of hesitation in his eyes.

"What's wrong, Agravain?" Gawain asked from a distance, puzzled.

Agravain snapped out of it and shook his head. "It's nothing. You take this transmigrator back first. I'll patrol the area first. There might be more surprises."

Gawain didn't think much of it and simply nodded with a smile. "Alright, but be careful. So of these transmigrators might be powerful mages."

Agravain grunted in acknowledgnt. Watching Gawain lead the team away, he turned and walked alone into the forest.

Warm sunlight filtered through the gaps in the leaves, scattering spots of light on the ground.

In the gentle breeze, the shadows of the trees swayed, accompanied only by the heavy clinking of the man's armor.

Finally, Agravain ca to a slow stop by a lake.

His eyes scanned the surroundings as his hand slowly moved to the sword at his waist, gripping it tightly.

"Who's playing tricks? Show yourself!"

His tone remained cold, even carrying a faint hint of killing intent.

If there were a person who despised the transmigrators as much as Artoria, it would be him

After all, during this period of ti, among these despicable mages who desecrated the dead, there had been a few guy who could use illusions.

Although they were low-level illusions, Agravain always seed to see a certain person in them.

Or perhaps, it was precisely because he cared so much about that person that he kept seeing him.

For Agravain, Gawain, and the other Knights of the Round Table, that person was an extrely special existence.

In the end, that guy had died bearing the stigma of betrayal at the hands of the king, but only the Knights of the Round Table knew the truth of what had happened back then and how much that person had silently done for the king.

The Night Watchman who stood guard through the long nights, as long as he lived, his sword and blood would forever protect the glory of Calot... That was the promise he had made to the king.

Even in death, he had never broken that promise.

'Even soone as flawed as seed to have been illuminated by that light.'

However... these despicable foreigners have been blaspheming the dead souls one after another, and now they are even not letting that person go.

To think they would use such lowly illusions to provoke him.

Just the thought of it had already stirred Agravain's killing intent.

Although the king had previously ordered that these transmigrators be interrogated first and not hard for the ti being.

But to blasphe that person like this... Even if the king found out, he wouldn't let these outsiders go either.

Thinking this, Agravain's magical energy began to quietly gather at the edge of his blade.

"If you don't co out now, don't bla my sword for being rciless," He said coldly.

At the sa ti, he quietly closed his eyes.

In an instant, everything around him, every rustle of grass, every whisper of wind, seed to enter his consciousness.

Then, Agravain suddenly heard a young man's voice from behind.

"It's been a while. You seem to have improved quite a bit, Agravain?"

The mont he heard the voice, Agravain's eyes snapped open, and he drew his sword, thrusting it toward the source of the sound.

However, the tip of the sword stopped just short of the young man's neck.

For a mont, Agravain's gloomy eyes slowly widened and stared ahead in disbelief.

After a brief mont of stunned silence, his body trembled slightly.

Because he realized that this didn't seem to be an illusion cast by those despicable transmigrators... nor was it one of rlin's pranks.

It was...

His lips quivered, and it was hard to tell whether it was fear or so other emotion.

"Alvin...?"
