"Sure, we've talked enough, let's go have so beauty soup, my treat."
Guo ngyao checked the ti, a little after six in the evening, pri dinner ti. But since they had attended a banquet earlier and everyone probably ate a lot, they changed their plan to having soup, especially beauty soup, which won could hardly refuse.
Fang Xiaoyue and Cheng Yuhuan both agreed promptly.
However, Chen Feng had eaten a lot during the banquet and still didn't feel hungry, so he said, "I'm not hungry, I'll pass."
"Not hungry, you should still co with us."
Guo ngyao insisted forcefully.
Cheng Yuhuan smiled and said, "Yeah, the three of us beautiful ladies need a knight to protect us. Co along."
Chen Feng really didn't want to join them, and declined without hesitation, "You three are adults, why would you need a protector? If anyone bothers you, just call the police."
Cheng Yuhuan rolled her eyes and said, "You really lack romance. It's one thing to not worry about and Xiaoyue, but ngyao is your woman now, right? It's late at night, aren't you worried about her safety?"
Chen Feng wasn't surprised that Cheng Yuhuan knew about his relationship with Guo ngyao, since it had been exposed in the classmates' group by Pu Fangye before. It wasn't sothing shaful, so it didn't matter if people knew.
Chen Feng glanced at Guo ngyao, noticing her expression wasn't great, so he asked, "Do you really want to co along?"
Guo ngyao nodded, "Of course."
"Alright then, I'll co."
Though Chen Feng may be straightforward, it doesn't an he lacks emotional intelligence or disregards others' feelings and dignity. Especially now, in front of Cheng Yuhuan and Fang Xiaoyue, his old classmates, he definitely needed to care for Guo ngyao's emotions and face.
Seeing Chen Feng change his mind and give face like this, Guo ngyao was slightly taken aback, then couldn't help but smile.
She understood Chen Feng's character, so seeing him change his mind at this mont was truly rare, which made her feel very appreciated.
Cheng Yuhuan noticed her reaction, feeling both disdain and a bit envious, and couldn't help but tease, "Look how happy you are. Isn't it natural for a boyfriend to accompany his girlfriend?"
Upon hearing this, Chen Feng imdiately declared, "I'm not her boyfriend yet."
Cheng Yuhuan burst into laughter, teasing, "Oh, you've already slept together, and she still hasn't accepted you as her boyfriend? Haha, that's quite tragic."
Cheng Yuhuan clearly misunderstood, thinking that Guo ngyao hadn't officially accepted Chen Feng yet.
Chen Feng opened his mouth but ultimately chose not to argue, as revealing the truth would hurt Guo ngyao's self-esteem too much.
However, seeing Chen Feng's silence, Guo ngyao felt a bit moved, and quickly stood up saying, "Alright, let's go."
So, the group left the tearoom, went downstairs, got into their respective cars, and drove to the congee shop that Guo ngyao directed them to.
This congee shop was located in a bustling area, elegantly decorated, and naturally not cheap. Yet, surprisingly, business was good, with nearly all of the dozen or so tables nearly full.
It simply showed that even in such a small county, there were quite a few wealthy people, especially when it ca to dining where many were willing to spend money.
The three won all ordered beauty-nourishing congee, while Chen Feng, not feeling hungry, didn't order any and just sat next to Guo ngyao.
"When are you planning to leave tomorrow?"
As they waited for their soup, Cheng Yuhuan asked Chen Feng.
Chen Feng thought about it and replied, "Probably tomorrow afternoon."
"Alright, then we'll book tickets for tomorrow afternoon, let check."
With that, Cheng Yuhuan picked up her phone and started to book tickets. Looking urgent, she clearly cared a lot about this trip to Shen City.
Soon, she arranged with Chen Feng to book the 1:30 PM flight for the next afternoon, and Chen Feng booked the sa flight, then ssaged Sun Xiaorui to book hers as well.
After booking the tickets, Cheng Yuhuan smiled and asked, "You ntioned before that Little Rui was going to Shen City with you. Is this Little Rui the sa Sun Xiaorui who was the bridesmaid for Qin Zhen's wife today? What's your relationship with her?"
She had been holding back this question for a while, so finally asked it all in one go.
Chen Feng answered candidly, "She's my secretary."
"So, she really is Sun Xiaorui. So your god-sister and secretary were both bridesmaids for Qin Zhen's wife. The other one, I think her na is Li Liqin, what is your relationship with her?"
Chen Feng shook his head, "I have no relationship with her, just normal friends."
Hearing this, Cheng Yuhuan felt relieved; she was really worried that Li Liqin might also have so close relationship with Chen Feng.
Having a god-sister and a secretary, each more beautiful than the last, she really didn't believe Chen Feng didn't have any special relationship with them.
"You do know all three bridesmaids. Do Little Rui and Li Liqin have boyfriends?" Cheng Yuhuan glanced at Chen Feng with an unusual look.
"Why do you care about that?" Chen Feng replied to her irritably.
