Chen Feng said with a smile, "Is it so simple and crude? Doesn’t seem very artistic."

Wu ngting also smiled and said, "Nowadays, the artistic market isn’t as good as the simple and crude one, since there are more novice readers than seasoned ones. Of course, I’ll try to strike a balance between art and comrce. But making money is still the primary goal."

"Okay, when will you upload it? I’ll definitely follow it."

"In a few days. I’ll start uploading after I quit my job."

...

The two of them talked about online novels for a while, having found a common topic.

It wasn’t until Lin Wan finished washing the dishes and went upstairs that Wu ngting followed her.

Later, Chen Feng also went upstairs to catch up on so sleep, slept for more than an hour, then got up and went to Red Villa Bay to absorb the energy from the books and paintings he had acquired.

Most of his books and paintings were kept there.

After that, Chen Feng went to open the store.

Soon after, Wu ngting also ca to the store to keep him company and chat.

Chen Feng was her boyfriend now, so he was very considerate and imdiately went to the convenience store across the street to buy her a lot of snacks, mainly sunflower seeds.

Initially, they both would chat while eating sunflower seeds, and they had tea to quench their thirst, which was quite nice.

However, Wu ngting wouldn’t let him eat sunflower seeds, so it ended up being Chen Feng watching her eat.

Before dinner ti, there were two custors in the store, but unfortunately, they brought what was supposedly antiques, which were nothing special and entirely not to Chen Feng’s standards.

Thus, just before five, Chen Feng closed the store early and went ho with Wu ngting.

Wu ngting had indeed prepared a vegetable salad, an apple, a small piece of lean at, and two boiled eggs for dinner.

Chen Feng was already feeling very hungry in the afternoon, so you can imagine how hungry he was going to be after such a small dinner.

If it weren’t for his strong willpower and not wanting to disappoint Wu ngting, who also wanted to try losing so weight, he would have snuck so food to eat.

As expected, two or three hours after dinner, Chen Feng felt extrely hungry and could only keep drinking water to cope.

He managed to hold out until 10:30 PM, and after bidding Wu ngting goodnight on WeChat, Chen Feng used his strong self-discipline to force himself to sleep.

When he woke up, it was already 6:30 AM the next morning.

He had woken up because he was hungry.

After using the bathroom and washing up, he went downstairs and found Wu ngting already busy in the kitchen, truly the model wife and mother.

Seeing that Chen Feng had gotten up so early, she smiled satisfactorily and praised, "Very good. Getting up so conscientiously. Keep it up in the future."

Chen Feng grimaced and said, "I woke up because I was hungry."

"Then co and have breakfast now. Yogurt, oatal, and so dried fruits. I’ve added extra oatal for you."

Chen Feng wasn’t in a position to be picky; any food was good food.

After breakfast, they rested for a few minutes, waiting for Wu ngting to finish her tasks, and then they went out together to exercise.

Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperating this ti, and just minutes into their walk, a light drizzle began, forcing them to run back ho.

"Looks like we’ll have to work out at ho today. I’ll teach you a set of fitness exercises for losing weight. Just follow my lead."

The living room on the first floor was quite spacious, and Wu ngting began to teach Chen Feng a relatively simple set of fitness exercises, hands-on.

It took about ten minutes, and surprisingly, it was very effective. By the end of it, Chen Feng was sweating all over.

"These exercises are too troubleso, and I don’t feel any sense of accomplishnt after doing them. I think I’ll stick to running. Once the rain stops, I’m going to buy a treadmill."

Wu ngting nodded and said, "That works too. Also, I’ve already bought vitamin supplents for you online; they should arrive today. From now on, you should properly supplent your body’s needed balanced nutrition daily."

"Alright. I’ll listen to you."

The supplents weren’t expensive, and Chen Feng readily accepted them.

However, Chen Feng then rembered that as her boyfriend, he apparently hadn’t given her a gift yet.

So, he said to her, "Let’s go to the mall together later."

"Okay." Wu ngting agreed straightforwardly.

They each went back to their rooms to shower and change clothes before coming downstairs. By this ti, Lin Wan had finally gotten up and was having breakfast.

Chen Feng had set her work schedule to start at 8:30 AM, which was quite humane.

She had already heard from Wu ngting about going to the mall and said to Chen Feng, "Boss, can I join you at the mall and be your bag carrier? There’s usually no one in the store in the morning anyway."

Chen Feng flatly refused, "You better just stay put in the store."

Lin Wan pouted at Wu ngting, who responded with a sweet smile, causing Lin Wan to roll her eyes.

"Alright then. You two have fun."

"That’s right. As the third wheel, you should be aware of your role."

Lin Wan didn’t pay attention to Chen Feng, but told Wu ngting, "Rember to bring back sothing tasty."

Only then did Wu ngting nod with a smile, "Okay, I got it."

The two held hands naturally as they left and got into the car.

To the outside observer, they appeared as a couple, but in reality, apart from holding hands or embracing, they hadn’t even shared a kiss on the cheek.

Chen Feng wasn’t one to initiate, and Wu ngting, still quite inexperienced and also a girl, naturally found it even harder to make the first move.

However, they were both quite satisfied with the current situation.

Chen Feng wasn’t short of female companionship, so there was no need to rush things with Wu ngting with the aim of getting her into bed.

He was a very upright and proper person and didn’t entertain such deaning ideas.

Driving to Delong Square, Chen Feng took Wu ngting as he knew it well and it was close by.

Instead of heading directly to the treadmill store, he first led her to Zhou Sheng Jewelry Store.

This dostic chain jewelry store offered quality pieces at prices relatively more affordable compared to foreign brands.

"Do you prefer a bracelet or a necklace?" Chen Feng turned and asked Wu ngting directly.

Wu ngting was startled for a mont before hurriedly shaking her head, "No need, it’s not necessary."

But Chen Feng was insistent, "It’s very necessary. If you don’t choose, I will choose a necklace for you. You’ve been wearing the sa fine chain without changing it; let buy you a slightly thicker one."

After speaking, Chen Feng asked the sales associate standing in front of them, "Take us to the necklace showcase."

"Sure, this way please."

They quickly followed the saleswoman to the necklace showcase.

After browsing, Chen Feng pointed to the most expensive diamond necklace and asked, "How about this one?"

Labelled as the most expensive, it was just over nine thousand yuan – quite cheap compared to the tens of thousands one might pay for foreign brands.

Wu ngting quickly shook her head, "Forget it. I don’t like platinum. If you’re buying, get a gold one instead; it holds value."

Chen Feng looked around once more and then pointed to a six-thousand heart-shaped gold necklace, "Then this one. It’s 18k rose gold with embedded diamonds."

Wu ngting examined it closely for a while and, without any fuss, nodded, "Okay, this one then."

"This one, please," Chen Feng told the saleswoman behind the counter.

"Of course, sir."

The saleswoman was montarily stunned before reacting. She was probably unaccustod to such decisive custors, particularly for both the one paying and the one selecting.

Typically, female custors at a jewelry store take their ti picking and choosing, taking forever to make a decision.

From entering the shop to selecting and then purchasing, Chen Feng and Wu ngting had spent just five minutes, setting a sort of record.

Without a word from the sales associate, she easily earned her commission, her smile naturally much warr.

After paying and receiving the necklace, Chen Feng personally put it around Wu ngting’s neck.

Wu ngting looked at herself in the mirror and finally showed a happy smile.

"Thank you for this gift; I really like it."

Chen Feng smiled upon hearing this, "As long as you like it."

Wu ngting then affectionately linked arms with Chen Feng, pressing her body close to his arm, and joyfully walked out of the jewelry store.

Seeing her happy made Chen Feng happy as well.

He was about to head to the treadmill store when he ca face to face with a group of people, among them his ex-wife, Shen Lin.
