Wu ngting was taken aback for a mont when Chen Feng reached out to shake his hand, smiling and saying, "Hello. You wouldn’t happen to be Fang Xiaoyue’s boyfriend, would you?"
Wang Kangjian’s face stiffened, and he forcefully withdrew his hand, giving Chen Feng a hostile look.

With that, Wang Kangjian turned and left.
His attitude infuriated Fang Xiaoyue so much she nearly burst a blood vessel, standing there for a long while before she could recover her composure.
Not long after Wu ngting had seated Chen Feng at their table, Xu Shujing and her husband also ca over with their al plates, and the four of them sat down together to eat. They chatted and laughed as they ate, the atmosphere pleasant and harmonious.
A few minutes later, Fang Xiaoyue also ca over with her al, smilingly asking Chen Feng, "Do you mind if I join you?"
Chen Feng thought he did mind, but it wasn’t polite to refuse outright, so he turned to Xu Shujing and her husband and said, "This is my classmate, Fang Xiaoyue. Do you mind if we let her join us?"
