After breakfast, the two of them rested for a while, mainly with Wu ngting cozying up to Zhao Xiaolan, adopting an intimate attitude and seeming to enjoy their conversation, which left Chen Feng dumbfounded.
Before, he had never noticed that Wu ngting was such a good talker, such a people pleaser.
His mother, Zhao Xiaolan, was all smiles due to Wu ngting’s flattering, bursting into laughter from ti to ti, seemingly chard and cheerful.

After they had walked a bit and there were no people around, Chen Feng asked her directly. He didn’t want Wu ngting to pester him unrelentingly or even try to get through to him by way of his family mbers, especially his mother.
Chen Feng was undoubtedly a filial son, and if his mother pressured him, it would be tough for him to resist.
"Yes, I’ve never gotten over you," Wu ngting admitted frankly.
This took Chen Feng by surprise, and he didn’t know how to respond. After a silence, he said sowhat helplessly, "Didn’t I make it clear before? We’re like siblings."
"But you also said," Wu ngting replied with a smile, "that in the future, we might develop into lovers. We’re just temporarily acting as brother and sister."
Damn! To keep her as a friend, so she’d continue to be his personal chef, he’d used that excuse to calm her down.

For both Lin Yujiao and Wu ngting, eting here like this was really unexpected. If they had known they were going to et, they surely would have made more of an effort with their appearance, instead of wearing loose sports outfits and tying their hair up.
"What a coincidence, let introduce you two. This is Wu ngting, whom I’ve ntioned before, and this is Lin Yujiao," Chen Feng introduced them very calmly.
Lin Yujiao had not believed that Wu ngting could be prettier than her, but upon seeing her in person, she had to admit the truth; Wu ngting was indeed younger and more beautiful with a higher education level.
As a woman with only a junior high school diploma and divorced, she felt completely outmatched and even more inferior.
Wu ngting naturally didn’t have a good impression of Lin Yujiao, but she had to admit that Lin Yujiao was attractive and had a good figure, especially her ample bust which made her slightly jealous.
