Now reading: Chapter 334 - 199: Richer Than I Imagined from After my divorce, I started to have good luck, a Drama novel by Anpingtai.

Over the next two days, Chen Feng basically stayed at ho, only occasionally going out with Little Rui for a walk, browsing the supermarket, buying groceries, and such.

He spent most of his ti absorbing energy from the purchased artworks and working out.

After these two days, he felt that his body had beco stronger, and there was certainly no discomfort.

Previously, he had felt dizzy and had nosebleeds back ho, as if he had been dreaming.

Anyway, now he sees hope in life and has beco more enthusiastic about absorbing the energy from paintings and calligraphy.

However, it’s still the sa issue. Now he enters ditation once a day, and he can absorb invisible energy for at most a little over an hour each ti. If he tries to continue after that, there is no effect. His body seems to have a limited capacity.

That is to say, he can now only spend a little over an hour each day absorbing energy. Trying to absorb more doesn’t work.

This situation existed before, but at that ti Chen Feng had only confird that absorbing energy in this manner was beneficial to his body. He couldn’t confirm whether it would delay or even cure his critical illness. Therefore, he didn’t particularly focus on experinting with the maximum amount he could absorb each day.

But after the bout of dizziness and nosebleeds back ho, he confird it. After these two days of experints, the maximum is about an hour and a half, roughly 90 minutes, and there’s currently no way to extend that.

Chen Feng is sowhat helpless about this. In his estimation, if he could absorb energy for three to four hours every day, then over the long term, his critical illness might really have a chance of disappearing entirely.

Now, he can only try to absorb as much energy as possible each day.

While Chen Feng is staying ho, he also starts preparing with Little Rui to continue last year’s unfinished nationwide travel. To this end, Chen Feng has handed over planning the travel itinerary to Little Rui.

Previously, the travel routes and plans were arranged by Little Rui, with Lin Wan and ngting only providing support and suggestions.

Little Rui is quite adept at this.

The two plan to stay in Xiu Zhou for a few more days before setting off, and besides them, Chen Feng also plans to bring ngting along, but he doesn’t plan to include Lin Wan in this trip.

Little Rui doesn’t object to this; she just expresses her own opinion, wanting to learn how to do travel live streaming like Lin Wan to earn so extra money while traveling.

Previously, Lin Wan did travel live streaming with their group and earned quite a bit. Little Rui also got a cut because she helped with the streaming and interacted with the viewers.

This ti, since they are not going with Lin Wan, they can completely handle the live streaming themselves, and it would be even better if ngting could join.

Having experienced Lin Wan’s previous live streaming, Chen Feng isn’t very resistant to it, as he generally doesn’t appear on cara, so it doesn’t affect him much. Therefore, after a slight hesitation, he agrees.

Next, Little Rui contacts ngting, and ngting imdiately agrees without much thought, as she needs money now. Moreover, she moves to Red Villa Bay the sa night, and Lin Wan doesn’t co along.

This surprises Chen Feng and Little Rui a bit.

"You finally ca around, not bringing Lin Wan along this ti?" Chen Feng asks with a smile.

ngting nods sowhat emotionally and says, "Living with her can indeed be a bit... exhausting. Especially after returning ho for the New Year, living with her again, and even sharing the sa room and bed, really makes uncomfortable. It’s better to be separate, so we can still be friends in the future."

Chen Feng laughs and says, "You’ve got the right idea. Actually, I think you should associate with her less in the future, or even not at all, to avoid being exploited by her."

ngting purses her lips without saying anything, clearly not agreeing with Chen Feng’s suggestion.

Chen Feng doesn’t mind this and says, "As your personal assistant, I’m counting from today as your start date. From now on, the household chores here, including cooking, washing, cleaning, and housekeeping, will be handled by you and Little Rui together. How you arrange and distribute it, you can discuss among yourselves. Any issues?"

ngting nods quickly and happily says, "Of course, there are no issues."

This ti, she ca here to be more involved in Chen Feng’s life.

Little Rui opens her mouth but ultimately doesn’t object.

So, ngting stays at Red Villa Bay. The next day, ngting tells Chen Feng that Lin Wan has also moved out of East Lake Villa.

Upon hearing this, Chen Feng takes Little Rui and ngting to check it out, finding the villa slightly ssy, with so trash in the living room, bedroom, and kitchen. Otherwise, there are no issues.

However, this shows that Lin Wan really isn’t very considerate. She let them live in such a nice villa at a low cost, and upon moving out, she not only fails to express gratitude but also doesn’t clean up, which is sowhat excessive.

Seeing this, ngting feels embarrassed and starts cleaning up imdiately, with Little Rui joining her.

After tidying up, the three sit in the living room to rest. Out of curiosity, Chen Feng asks ngting where Lin Wan moved to.

It’s not out of concern but genuine curiosity.

ngting says Lin Wan moved in with her two classmates, the ones who celebrated Lin Wan’s birthday with Chen Feng—Wu Bingyao and Li Li.

The place she moved to is quite far from here, taking over half an hour by bus.

Chen Feng feels a bit relieved upon hearing this.

With so distance between their residences, there’s at least less chance for ngting and him to be disturbed.

After resting for a while, the three return to Red Villa Bay.

While alone, Little Rui can’t help but ask Chen Feng: "Are you just going to leave East Lake Villa empty like that?"

Chen Feng smiles at her and says, "Let it be empty. Do you expect to sublet it?"

Little Rui complains slightly, "You really did say the lease was up just to rush Lin Wan out, but there’s actually more than a month left. Two thousand dollars a month is just going to waste. You’re doing charity."

Paying two thousand dollars in monthly rent for nothing, even though it’s not her money, Little Rui feels a sting for Chen Feng.

Chen Feng says generously, "Do you think I’d care about such a trivial sum right now?"

Little Rui gives him a look and says, "If you had planned it earlier, you wouldn’t have renewed the lease. Isn’t this just wasting money?"

Chen Feng responds nonchalantly, "Alright. It’s not a complete waste. We can occasionally go and stay there, especially during sumr when it’s near East Lake. We can live there to escape the heat, walk along the lake’s embanknt, enjoy the breeze, and cool off."

Little Rui widens her eyes, "Sumr? It’s only March now; are you planning to continue renting?"

Chen Feng shakes his head with a smile, "Of course not."

Little Rui asks suspiciously, "Then why did you say we’d spend the sumr there?"

Chen Feng speaks with so pride, "I’m planning to buy that place."

Little Rui’s mouth opens wide, montarily stunned into silence.

She originally thought Chen Feng was just a small wealthy individual, the type with assets worth millions. But owning a villa in Red Villa Bay directly pushes her estimation of Chen Feng’s wealth to tens of millions, at least tenfold.
