Big Brother drove him to the airport.
This ti there was no first class, just a regular business class, and no romantic adventures either. He sat next to an old man, with no conversation throughout the journey.
He arrived back in Xiu Zhou smoothly, returned to his rental apartnt, opened the doors and windows, did a bit of tidying up, and then hit the bed for so well-deserved sleep.
By the ti he woke up, it was already night.
After a shower and changing into a set of clean clothes, Chen Feng drove to a private club he rembered.
But as he reached the entrance of the club, he saw it was sealed shut and there were no lights inside.
Chen Feng felt imdiately sullen. Why had his luck soured?
He had vivid mories of this private club. Two years ago, he had co here with the boss, splurging on a client and spending over a hundred thousand in one night. Of course, the deal they secured the next day was worth more than two million.
At the ti, the club offered so-called "emotional companionship services," with all sorts of options from female students, urban beauties, office ladies, to models lined up for picking.
Back then, Chen Feng had a girlfriend and had stood the test. Yet he couldn’t deny that he occasionally harbored a hint of regret.
The won offering emotional companionship were all very beautiful!
Looking at the seal on the door, Chen Feng could only sigh.
It seed impossible to make up for that past omission. He had indeed been too young back then.
As the saying goes, "A young man doesn’t know a princess’s worth, mistaking a forr wife for a treasure; a wealth of true feelings cast onto water, in death, nothing left but empty hands."
Feeling disheartened, Chen Feng left and drove aimlessly around the area.
In the end, he decided against going to bars and KTVs. These places didn’t feel clean, a bit low class, and there was a risk of scams.
Even though he was nearing death, he didn’t want any last-minute distress. Safety was also a concern.
He took out his phone, opened the navigation app, and chose the nearest five-star hotel.
A few minutes later, Chen Feng successfully checked into a luxury suite.
Indeed, no sooner had he entered the room than the phone rang.
Picking up the receiver, he heard a sweet and glutinous voice saing, "Hello sir, I’m the hotel’s service concierge. I was wondering if you needed any dical health services?"
Hearing this, Chen Feng was sure that his luck was still holding.
He was just trying his luck, but it turned out there really were special services available.
"What are the prices? How skilled are the therapists?" Chen Feng asked with the tone of an old hand.
"All our therapists are the most professional. Of course, if you prefer amateurs, we can provide them too. Prices start at 1,680 and go up to 18,000. If you’re interested, we can send soone over to explain and let you choose whoever you like," the voice inford him.
"All right. Send soone with an 18,000 service to let have a look," he requested.
"Certainly, sir. Please wait a mont."
After hanging up, it was barely ten minutes before he heard the doorbell.
Chen Feng peeped through the door’s viewer to see two won standing outside—one in her forties or fifties with heavy makeup, and the other a city beauty in her twenties with long hair, looking very pretty.
Opening the door, the two won entered the room naturally.
The older woman introduced directly, "Hello sir. This is Little Tao, a university student and campus belle. It’s her first ti doing this. If you think she’s suitable, pay ten thousand upfront. After the service, you’ll pay another eight thousand."
This so-called university belle was indeed pretty, but her expression was cold. She gave Chen Feng a quick glance before burying her head in her phone.
Chen Feng didn’t want to deal with a woodblock, so he shook his head and said, "Too young. Find soone around twenty-seven or twenty-eight."
The old woman didn’t say much, just took out a tablet from her handbag, unlocked it with practiced movents, and handed it to Chen Feng to peruse.
"Take a look. These are photos and so biographies of our therapists. You can pick any of them."
"Okay. Let see."
Chen Feng took the tablet and scrutinized the pictures. Each photo of the female therapists was very pretty, obviously photoshopped, so it was difficult to gauge their real faces.
Yet Chen Feng wasn’t too concerned; going for a higher price should lessen the chance of mistakes.
It’s said that those in this business usually have a strong sense of professional ethics as they strive to cultivate repeat custors.
Thus, Chen Feng ignored any options below 18,000.
A few minutes later, Chen Feng chose a ’good family woman,’ marked as 28 years old, a city office lady with a good figure.
"I’ll take this Little Hong," Chen Feng pointed at a photo and announced.
After a glance, the old woman praised him, saying, "Sir, you have a good eye. She is indeed from a good family in urgent need of money, and it’s her first ti doing this."
Chen Feng replied sarcastically, "First ti again?"
The previously high-and-mighty school beauty was also apparently a first-tir. How many ’first tis’ could there be in this line of work?
The older woman chuckled sheepishly, "Little Hong and Little Tao are both first-tirs today, I swear it’s true."
"Enough. Whether it’s the first ti or not, I don’t care, as long as the service is satisfactory. Go call this Little Hong over. I’ll wait for her in the room."
"Very well. Then please give a deposit of ten thousand first. Would you like to pay cash or scan?"
The old woman said this while skilfully pulling out a paynt QR code from her bag.
Obviously, Chen Feng wouldn’t be foolish enough to pay upfront, he shook his head and declared, "Bring the person over first, if she looks good to , I’ll pay you the full amount right away."
"Okay then, I’ll go call her right away." The old woman didn’t insist further, nodded, and left with the college girl.
As they left, Chen Feng was about to close the door, but thinking they might return quickly, he left it ajar.
Back in the living room, he sat on the couch waiting, but this wait turned into half an hour. Bored, Chen Feng switched on the TV and picked a bottle of wine priced at 888 from the minibar to drink.
Surprisingly, the wine was smooth and he finished the bottle without realizing it.
By now, more than an hour had passed without the old woman bringing Little Hong over.
Chen Feng felt cheated in his pure heart and even more dejected.
His good fortune seed to have floundered today.
Feeling a bit dizzy, probably from the aftereffects of the wine, Chen Feng got up and lay down on the soft bed, drifting between sleep and wakefulness.
Unbeknownst to him, his luck wasn’t actually that bad.
The old woman had only just left and was about to call Little Hong when the police, who had been lying in ambush, arrested her.
Her whole gang was caught in the police net.
If the police hadn’t raided at that exact mont, just minutes later that evening, Chen Feng might have been taken in as well.
So, a piece of advice to everyone: be upright and honest in life. Do not engage in illicit activities. This applies to relationships too; they must be sincere and grow naturally, not bought with a once-off paynt, because that’s illegal.
However, when Chen Feng fuzzily woke up the next day, there was a woman by his side, and she was even soone he recognized.
Seeing her tear-streaked face, he was completely dumbfounded.
