When Qin Zhen ca over, although he didn’t talk much with Wang Xuelin, the atmosphere beca less awkward.
Otherwise, Chen Feng and the other two weren’t very familiar with Wang Xuelin, and since she was treating them, the al would definitely not be comfortable.
But with Qin Zhen there, it was different. At least Chen Feng was close buddies with him, so with him around, Chen Feng wouldn’t have any ntal burden.
Thanks to the active efforts from Chen Feng’s side, the al turned out to be quite lively. Wang Xuelin was cooperative too, chatting and laughing with the other two won. The main topic was complaining about how Wang Xuelin had "started sothing and then abandoned it" back in the day, which hurt him deeply. This reunion was actually not what he genuinely wanted; it was Wang Xuelin who approached him, seduced him, and then muddle-headedly, he fell into her trap, ultimately being forced back into a relationship by her persistence.
Though Chen Feng was speechless inside, he patiently listened to his complaints and then, finally, asked him straightforwardly, "You said Ning Wei wasn’t right, and Wang Xuelin wasn’t right either, so why are you involved with them? What kind of woman are you really looking for?"
Qin Zhen couldn’t speak for a long ti. Whether he admits it or not, he indeed has the traits of a jerk; fundantally, he only wants to play and doesn’t want to take responsibility.
Out of friendship, Chen Feng didn’t directly expose him, but his point was made very clear.
After the al, Qin Zhen was the first one to rush to pay the bill, neither Chen Feng nor Wang Xuelin stopped him.

Chen Feng reminded, "They should resolve their own issues; the most we can do is discuss behind their backs without getting involved. Don’t say this to Wang Xuelin about Qin Zhen."
"I’m not dumb. And besides, I’m not very familiar with her."
"Alright then."
Back ho, they had a good night’s sleep.
The next morning, Chen Feng received replies from Sister Hua and Hao Xiaolian. The forr recomnded one company, and the latter recomnded two companies for him to choose from.
After expressing his thanks, Chen Feng passed this information to Wu ngting, asking her to investigate these three companies thoroughly.
It’s now the internet era, so checking a company’s background is pretty quick, not to ntion hiring so consulting firms to dig deep.
Online, a known site can largely reveal a company’s share structure, disputes in court, administrative penalties, etc. Of course, for safety, it’s certainly better to hire professional consultants to investigate them. For this, Chen Feng even sent her a hundred thousand for activity expenses.
Upon receiving the docunts from Chen Feng, despite still sowhat opposing the idea, seeing Chen Feng’s insistence, Wu ngting could only proceed with it. She is currently Chen Feng’s personal assistant, so she has to fulfill the assignnts given by her boss.

Chen Feng booked a courtyard king room on his phone, costing over seven thousand per night, not the most expensive, but still decent.
Getting out of the car, Chen Feng walked a few minutes to reach the place, and there he saw Liu Ying waiting not far from the entrance.
Seeing Chen Feng, Liu Ying was instantly filled with joy and excitent. She jogged over to him and, without saying a word, opened her arms to hug him, her head pressed tightly against his chest.
"I really missed you so much. It’s been so long since I finally got to see you. You’re so heartless."
Liu Ying’s voice carried a touch of choking, appearing both sad and happy, perfectly embodying the emotions and actions a couple should have when reuniting after a long ti apart. She perford quite well.
As a reserved man, Chen Feng was sowhat uncomfortable with her enthusiasm. However, even though he knew she was sowhat acting, as a man, he felt flattered inside.
"Alright, aren’t we eting now? Plus, we haven’t been apart for too long, at most just a month."

"Of course, I missed you. But, we’re well past the age of falling in love, there’s no need to act like youngsters."
"We’re not seventy or eighty years old; can’t we fall in love?" Liu Ying frowned beautifully.
Despite having given birth and divorced, she’s only thirty in Chinese age, not very old, with tight skin, a curvy figure, and most importantly, good looks.
Now she’s the type many people, both young and old, like.
"It’s not impossible. But do you think there’s still a need for us to fall in love?" Chen Feng looked at her with a half-smile.
Liu Ying imdiately said, "Of course there’s a need. Back in college, due to circumstances, we didn’t date; now we’re fortunate to reunite and get to know each other again, starting anew and making up for the past regrets, isn’t that just right?"
