"I have no objections." Chen Feng said and then looked at Wu ngting.
Wu ngting glanced at the ti; it was almost four o’clock in the afternoon. There was indeed so ti left, so she agreed as well.
However, this detail made Guo ngyao frown slightly. Since when did Chen Feng start acting according to Wu ngting’s expressions?
The four of them went out again, then waited by the embanknt. Before long, an electric sightseeing car circling the lake appeared, and the four of them bought tickets and got on.
Riding such a sightseeing car is a quick tour. Although it’s not as detailed or morable as walking, it indeed saves much ti and effort.
It took about an hour to circle the lake. Just as the lights were coming on, the three of them went to a well-known local restaurant for dinner. To take care of Chen Feng’s health, they didn’t order too much at; vegetables made up most of the al, but everyone still found it quite satisfying.
After dinner, they didn’t go for another stroll. After sending Guo ngyao and her daughter back to the Lakefront Villa, Chen Feng and Wu ngting said goodbye and left.
In fact, Guo ngyao definitely hoped Chen Feng would stay. Chen Feng also wanted to, but since Wu ngting was there, he couldn’t do so. After all, she was his intended future girlfriend or even wife; it wouldn’t be good to stay with another woman right in front of her.
Not long after returning to No. 8 Villa, Chen Feng received a WeChat ssage from Guo ngyao: "I hope you can co to accompany tonight."
This was very direct.
Chen Feng responded without pretense: "I’ll try to co if I can."
"Alright, I’m waiting for you."
Upon reading this, Chen Feng’s heart started itching with restlessness.
First, he accompanied the two won to watch so TV in the living room and chatted for a while. Then Chen Feng went upstairs to take a shower and ca back down.
By the ti the two won went upstairs to their rooms, it was already around ten o’clock.
The ti really passed surprisingly fast.
"I need to go out for a while; I might not co back tonight."
Just after Sun Xiaorui returned to her room, Chen Feng got up from the bed, took off his pajamas, changed into his clothes, and said this.
Sun Xiaorui felt a bit uncomfortable inside, but she couldn’t voice any opposition. She could only remind him, "Be careful, and stay safe."
Chen Feng agreed and quickly put on his clothes, hurriedly leaving.
Of course, he went to Guo ngyao’s place.
The next day, Wu ngting didn’t join them. Chen Feng had spent the previous night directly at the Lakefront Villa, which she probably already knew. Since she didn’t speak or ask anything, it was tacitly acknowledged.
Thus, Chen Feng spent the day with Guo ngyao and her daughter near East Lake, enjoying themselves like a happy family. They took many photos, especially group photos of the three of them, which made Guo ngyao very satisfied.
Without Wu ngting accompanying them that day, Guo ngyao and her daughter undoubtedly had even more fun.
Chen Feng continued to stay overnight at the Lakefront Villa, staying with Guo ngyao like a pair of lovebirds.
It wasn’t until noon on the third day that Chen Feng received a ssage from Wu ngting, stating that the asset evaluation report from Dianchuang Culture Company was ready.
According to the current market conditions and business operations, the report clearly stated that the current market value of Dianchuang Culture did not exceed 100 million; anything over that would be overvaluation. This included the company’s lease term of more than two years left, currently worth over 20 million according to market conditions.
It also listed the company’s equity structure and basic information and contact details of each shareholder.
After reading the report, Chen Feng felt quite satisfied and imdiately asked Wu ngting to get in touch with the other shareholders, excluding Liu ijun.
There were four shareholders in total. Interestingly, the forr general manager Cao Kun, whom they had fired, still held 5% of the company’s shares. This was a reward from the board of directors when he served as general manager. Initially, he only had dividend rights, but he capitalized on his position and leveraged his persuasive skills to spend so money to turn this 5% stake into real shares, becoming one of the actual shareholders of Dianchuang Culture.
Among the other three shareholders, one was similar to Liu ijun—a wealthy woman holding 3%, truly a minor shareholder. The remaining two included a relative of a previous owner and a friend of a previous owner. These two held the majority shares, each with 7%.
Since Dianchuang Culture’s business wasn’t doing well, the four of them were naturally looking for a buyer, with Cao Kun being the most eager. He was no longer the general manager and was previously investigated by the police, sued by Liu ijun, divorced by his wife after being caught cheating, and faced a property division battle. Ultimately, they didn’t reach an agreent and ended up in court.
The two lawsuits consud significant ti and resources, and hiring top-notch lawyers was costly.
The suits had dragged on since last year. He narrowly escaped conviction for his job-related cris but had to pay hefty fines. In the divorce case, because he cheated and the evidence was clear, he only got about 40% of the joint assets, losing even the villa they used to live in to his ex-wife.
Moreover, he had been supporting mistresses and occasionally spending a lot in upscale clubs, leading to a rapid depletion of his assets.
On top of that, after listening to a dubious tip from an old friend, he invested a significant part of his savings into a stock, which got him stuck as it plumted for over half a month, making him doubt everything.
His personal assets shrank drastically, so he was eager to convert Dianchuang Culture’s stock into cash.
When Wu ngting contacted him about purchasing his shares in Dianchuang Culture, Cao Kun eagerly agreed, impatient to et and discuss further.
Wu ngting was unaware of the strained relationship between Chen Feng and Cao Kun. Chen Feng hadn’t ntioned it before, so she routinely arranged to et Cao Kun at a café the following noon.
The responses from the other three shareholders were similar; upon hearing soone was interested in their Dianchuang Culture shares, they all imdiately expressed willingness to negotiate.
Guo ngyao also arranged eting tis and places with each of them.
After completing this task, Wu ngting reported everything to Chen Feng via WeChat.
Chen Feng was pleased with this and arranged for her to accompany him to et those shareholders the following day.
Chen Feng also ntioned it to Guo ngyao, who was very interested and expressed she could join him the next day.
Being a successful female boss herself, Guo ngyao accompanying him for negotiations was sothing Chen Feng had no objection to, so he agreed.
