Chen Feng’s purpose for coming out this ti wasn’t entirely pure. However, he was a considerate person, and before going to the hotel, he would definitely make sure to explain things to her first and obtain her consent.

Jin Xinyan didn’t hesitate for long and said naturally, "Let’s go to the hotel then. I rember there’s a five-star hotel not far from here, just a few minutes’ walk away."

"Alright, let’s go to that hotel."

Chen Feng took out his phone and opened a certain app, quickly finding the nearest five-star hotel. With nimble fingers, he booked a luxury suite costing over six thousand a night.

"Okay, I’ve booked a luxury suite. Are you satisfied with it?"

Chen Feng handed his phone to show her.

Jin Xinyan glanced briefly and nodded, "It’s alright. Let’s go with this one."

"Then let’s head over."

The two continued holding hands and walked over following the map directions.

This ti, neither of them spoke again.

About ten minutes later, they arrived at the hotel, quickly checked in at the front desk, and got their room key.

Jin Xinyan still didn’t speak, just quietly standing beside Chen Feng. It wasn’t until he led her all the way up in the elevator and swiped into the luxury suite, closing the door, that she finally spoke.

"Are you planning to stay here tonight too?"

Jin Xinyan asked Chen Feng, seemingly calm.

Chen Feng smiled slightly, pulling her into his arms, and whispered near her ear, "Do you want to stay?"

Jin Xinyan’s body stiffened a bit and then felt sowhat warm, her tongue slightly tied as she said, "I... I don’t know."

"Then I’ll stay. Aren’t you feeling empty and lonely? If I stay, I can help fill that void."

Chen Feng spoke softly....

The next morning, when Jin Xinyan woke up, Chen Feng was no longer beside her. Her expression turned a bit dazed for a while before letting out a long sigh.

Does she regret? It seems not. After all, she’s grown up and finally t a man she could feel moved by, and then what needed to happen happened. Is there anything to regret?

A woman eventually has to cross this threshold.

It’s just she didn’t expect Chen Feng to leave without a word, an act even less than those deceitful n with sweet talk. This inevitably made her feel a bit insecure; no woman wants to et a scoundrel.

She lay on the bed for a while longer before lifting the quilt to get out of bed, her brows slightly furrowed.

After pausing, she stood up, slowly put on the hotel bathrobe, and then walked to the bathroom.

When she finished washing her face, brushing her teeth, and taking a shower, she saw Chen Feng sitting on the sofa in the living room.

"I went to the hotel kitchen and ordered you so stew and so desserts girls usually like, along with a hot basket of stead buns. Co over and eat."

Chen Feng said while pointing to so dishes on the coffee table, each still covered.

Jin Xinyan’s surprised face couldn’t help but break into a genuine smile.

"Great, I’ll eat now. I actually realized how hungry I was once you ntioned it."

Jin Xinyan naturally went over to the sofa and sat down, then started eating heartily, without trying to be ladylike. This actually made Chen Feng’s impression of her improve further.

Initially, Chen Feng was a bit tempted by her body but soon found he’d won the jackpot.

From the surface, Jin Xinyan seed overly spontaneous, eting him for the first ti and then coming to the hotel. She might have been perceived as a bit casual in this aspect. But the reality was completely different.

This kind of contrast, though rare, really does exist. Conversely, those won who seed so pure on the surface often had chaotic private lives.

This jackpot was sothing Chen Feng found reluctantly received, without much excitent or a sense of achievent. Instead, it brought him a heavy sense of responsibility.

After all, he wasn’t really a scoundrel; he couldn’t do heartless things.

"Xinyan, tell about yourself. Your family situation, and your own too."

After Jin Xinyan had eaten enough, Chen Feng spoke up, intending to understand her more deeply.

After all, she trusted him so much, he couldn’t possibly have no understanding of her.

Jin Xinyan looked at him and said, "Before you ask , shouldn’t you first talk about your situation?"

Chen Feng didn’t mind and responded honestly, "I’m from Lu City, got into the Technology University here, worked after graduation, then had a free love marriage, divorced last year, no kids. After the divorce last year, my luck changed, I won the lottery, and made so money in the stock market. Currently, my total assets aren’t a lot—just several millions. Regarding my love life, I previously dated several won; currently, I have two relatively stable ones."

Jin Xinyan wasn’t angry at Chen Feng’s candidness, but rather curiously asked, "Regarding your current two dating partners, how much allowance do you give them each month?"

Chen Feng felt a bit embarrassed but answered honestly, "Five thousand for one, three thousand for the other."

"Why the difference?"

Chen Feng felt even more awkward but explained a bit, "The one receiving more also does so caretaker-like work—laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc."

Jin Xinyan finally understood and nodded, and then she spoke about her own situation.

Her parents were still alive, and when they were young, they started a business together, now with a company nearly worth a hundred million. As an only child, she grew up without worry about food or clothing, though not excessively spoiled.

Having grown up, she’d never faced major setbacks, always having smooth sailing.

Regarding her love life, she had a crush on a boy during middle school who played excellent basketball and was a sports star, but his grades weren’t good, and his family circumstances were poor. He went to study at a vocational high school. Years later at a reunion, this boy had beco greasy, had started a mahjong parlor with partners, gained weight, went bald, and shalessly told dirty jokes. Her first love fantasy officially shattered.

Currently unemployed at ho, she hadn’t decided what job she wanted to do. However, after last night’s experience, Jin Xinyan truly felt like trying to work at Chen Feng’s film company, emulating Yang Wenqi trying out as a star seed like a good choice.

Chen Feng obviously didn’t want her in his company, shaking his head and saying, "I don’t think you’re suited for being an artist or actor. As everyone knows, the entertainnt industry is too complicated. How about this, I have holdings in another company, which was originally where I worked, now I’m a major shareholder. If you join, you’ll directly be deputy general manager, representing in that company."
