Now seeing the pretty lobby manager offering so benefits, he decided to accept them, as it wasn’t suitable for soone of his status to blow things up.
"Alright then. Today I’ll let this matter go temporarily for your sake. First, refund the money I just paid, and then issue a gold card."
Yuan Dawei rubbed his burning left cheek, feeling several other painful spots on his body, and without politeness, directly asked for compensation.
The lobby manager, with much grace, smiled and took him to the front desk to get the money refunded and the procedures done.
With a gold card in hand, Yuan Dawei’s mood slightly improved.
Imdiately, he pointed at Lily and said to the lobby manager, "So, her service fee is waived this ti, right?"
The lobby manager truly had a good temperant, smiling as she nodded, "Sure."
The release fee there was three hundred, so it was saved. This made Yuan Dawei very pleased, and his mood finally improved.
Of course, it would be better if going to a hotel with Lily was free too, but that obviously wasn’t possible. Yuan Dawei wasn’t that unreasonable.
So, he didn’t ask,
Though his face and body were still sowhat in pain, the thought of taking soone else’s girlfriend to a hotel made the pain seem trivial, even giving him a sense of revenge.
"Alright, let’s go."
Yuan Dawei was even more eager than before, stepping forward to grab Lily’s hand to leave, but couldn’t pull her along.
Lily lowered her head, saying, "I’m not feeling well. Maybe you can request next ti, boss."
After such an incident, how could she be in the mood to make money?
In her heart, she still loved her boyfriend; otherwise, they wouldn’t have been together for almost five years. Unfortunately, they were both just regular workers, struggling in this city for five or six years without achieving the life they wanted.

Yuan Dawei said dissatisfied, "I want her. I made my choice, she agreed earlier, and I got beaten up by that lunatic. Would it make sense if she just stands up now?"
The lobby manager said tactfully, "You’re right. But as you know, in this situation, Lily isn’t in the mood, and if you insist on taking her, you probably won’t enjoy it much."
Yuan Dawei kept a stern face, "I got beaten up by her boyfriend. Only with her can I enjoy it to the fullest; no other woman will do."
The lobby manager had no choice but to look at Lily and said, "Lily, why don’t you go with this gentleman? After all, you agreed earlier."
Lily was very reluctant but finally nodded slightly.
Seeing this, Yuan Dawei felt satisfied and once again grabbed Lily’s hand to head towards the door, this ti she didn’t resist anymore.
Both had been drinking, so they didn’t drive but hailed a taxi to the nearest budget hotel.

Entering the room, Yuan Dawei intended to get serious, but Lily pushed him away, excusing herself to take a shower first.
The shower ended up taking over half an hour, making Yuan Dawei impatiently go to the bathroom door several tis to urge her.
Finally, when she ca out of the bathroom, she insisted Yuan Dawei take a shower first; otherwise, she wouldn’t let him have his way.
Yuan Dawei had no choice but to reluctantly go for a quick shower, coming out in less than five minutes.
This ti, Lily had no excuses, and unwillingly let him have his way.
Exhausted, Yuan Dawei didn’t even bother with dinner and fell asleep on the bed.
He didn’t know how much ti had passed when he felt soone vigorously shaking him awake. Annoyed, he opened his eyes, ready to lose his temper, but froze when he saw who it was.
Standing in front of him was a police officer in uniform, a middle-aged officer with a righteous face, looking at him sharply.
Another young male and female officer were standing by, with the female officer next to Lily, who was now crying with grievance.
"Is your na Yuan Dawei? Get up, put on your clothes, and co with us." The middle-aged officer announced sternly.
Yuan Dawei’s face imdiately turned ghostly pale, his lips trembled, and he stamred, "Officer, what... what’s going on here?"
He never thought there would be a day when he’d be caught by the police in the act.
The thought of the incident being exposed, ruining his reputation and threatening his job made him feel as though he’d fallen into an icy pit.
He even wondered if it was a dream, hoping to wake up, but when he pinched his thigh hard, the pain woke him up more.
This clearly wasn’t a dream.
The young male officer looked at him with disdain, "You’ve been caught red-handed, yet you’re still trying to get away with it?"
Yuan Dawei’s face turned paler, and he was about to get out of bed to kneel, but upon opening the blanket, realized he was still naked, so he shrank back, pleading miserably, "Officer, I was wrong. Please give another chance. I won’t dare do anything like this again. Can you just fine more money? Twenty thousand, would that be enough? If not, I can pay more."
Typically, getting caught for hiring a prostitute results in a fine of a few thousand dollars, but it also entails detention. And he clearly couldn’t afford to be detained, or everything would be over.
"You must be dreaming." The female officer couldn’t help but speak, looking at him with disdain and anger, "Soone like you should be chemically castrated."
Yuan Dawei looked at her innocently, thinking that he just hired a prostitute, and besides, he’s currently single. Was it necessary to be so cruel?
The middle-aged officer could tell what was going on, and said sternly, "You’re now suspected of rape, please cooperate with our investigation. You have the right to a lawyer and to defend yourself, but it all depends on the evidence. Do you understand? Quickly put on your clothes and co with us."
Upon hearing he was suspected of rape, Yuan Dawei’s face was filled with disbelief, and he stared at Lily closely, suddenly shouting at her, "Lily, why are you accusing ? You’re obviously a lady from the club, I paid to get a room with you, how does that beco rape? You’re framing , falsely accusing ."
Lily began to cry, sobbing, "I do this for a living, but I also have my dignity. The way you forced earlier, wasn’t that rape?"
Yuan Dawei collapsed weakly onto the bed upon hearing this. He knew the law well enough to know that even a husband could be accused of raping his wife, let alone in such a transactional relationship.
