The guys on the other side didn’t say much; they just surrounded them, using their physique and presence to intimidate.
It’s clear they didn’t really want to start a fight, or why else would they just surround them?
"Here we co, I’ve brought people over." Song Ze shouted loudly towards them.
Chen Feng felt speechless, considering they had only four people here, with three girls he ignored, and besides himself, Chen Feng didn’t think the other three had much fighting power.
Besides, in today’s law-abiding society, only fools and lunatics would resort to violence over trivial matters.
"You guys better move aside, don’t go looking for trouble. My friend already apologized to you, what more do you want?"
Song Ze, with a loud voice, stord over aggressively.
"Our demand is simple. Either you compensate us, not much, just ten thousand, for a gesture. Or, let each of us spit on you as well."
The man who seed the oldest, around thirty-five or thirty-six, spoke up and laid out the demand.
"You’re being unreasonable! Isn’t this just blatant extortion?"
Once again, Song Ze loudly questioned.
The man on the other side chuckled and said, "If you’re stingy about spending money, then let each of us spit back."
"Aren’t you disgusting? My friend just accidentally got a little spit on you, if you even noticed it, that’s questionable."
Among the three, Song Ze clearly held the highest status and had the most courage. He directly took charge of negotiating with the other side, but his attitude wasn’t good.
The others naturally got provoked by Song Ze, replying coldly, "Then the third option is let us beat you up a bit."
"Oh, failed extortion leads to violence now?" Song Ze, with a punchable face, arrogantly retorted.
The faces of those on the opposite side really didn’t look good, ready to start a fight any mont.
At this mont, Jin Xinyan, who had been watching from the side, walked over and said, "Alright, my friend was in the wrong, I apologize on his behalf. Also, we’ll give each of you an eighty-eight yuan red envelope, for luck and clearing the bad vibes. Does this work?"
Chen Feng saw her go up, and couldn’t just stand aside, so he walked over to stand next to her.
The other group exchanged glances for a while, and finally the leading middle-aged man opened his mouth, "Eighty-eight is too little, at least eight hundred and eighty-eight per person, out of respect for you, the pretty lady, otherwise this won’t end today."
Jin Xinyan frowned and said, "You’re being excessive. We really don’t want trouble, but we’re not afraid of it."
"Heh, aren’t you quite sassy, young lady. Since you’re not afraid of trouble, that’s perfect. We happen to be looking for so; my few brothers just got out of jail, bored with nothing to do, thinking we might as well go back for a few more years. Jin Xinyan’s face showed disgust upon hearing this, and she moved silently to the side.
"Wait." The man tried to go after her as she left, but was blocked by Chen Feng turning sideways.
"Don’t be so unreasonable. This is a law-abiding society, don’t you know? See that over there?" Chen Feng pointed to the cara above the hotel entrance, "That’s a cara. If you really want to get physical, no matter if you win or lose, as long as you make a move, the prison gates will open to welco you back. You really want to go back in for a few years? I doubt it."
What Chen Feng said made them change their expression slightly. Normal people wouldn’t want to go back after getting out of jail.
"Here’s the deal, we’ll give each of you 288 yuan. Five people add up to just over a thousand, not more than two thousand. Even if we report you for extortion later, it’s hard to handle. Otherwise, if it’s over two thousand, I pay you now, and report you for extortion later, and you’ll be facing charges."

It seed they were coming for them.
Everyone on Chen Feng’s side was dumbfounded.
Just as they were worried the newcors were with the other five, the leader, a short and stocky crew-cut man, pointed at the five and yelled, "Where are you from? Don’t you know this is my turf?"
As the five were still dumbfounded, the stocky man didn’t say much more, simply gestured with a suave hand forward, and the dozen behind him charged like wolves and tigers.
Two against one, especially with weapons in hand, those five seemingly tough n weren’t opponents, nor did they dare to resist too much, otherwise they’d just get beaten worse. In no ti, they were all knocked to the ground and harshly beaten.
This scene stunned Chen Feng and those with him, having not expected the situation to change so bizarrely, he hadn’t even made a move before soone else dealt with the scoundrels.
A few minutes later, the stocky man finally ordered his side to stop the beating.
"Consider this a lesson. Next ti you make trouble around here, huh, you asure yourselves. Now, get the hell off this street."
The five didn’t dare say a word, grimacing and helping each other up, swiftly escaping.
The stocky man satisfied, waved his hand and quickly swaggered off with his group.
From start to finish, they didn’t interact with Chen Feng and his group.
Chen Feng and his group exchanged looks for a while, before Jin Xinyan finally spoke first, "How about we call it a night here. Let’s get ho early."
The other two girls both nodded in agreent. The three guys naturally couldn’t protest.
So the three guys went inside the bar to settle the bill, while the three girls, having been drinking, didn’t drive over, needing to take a cab ho together. As Chen Feng wasn’t going her way, he ended up wanting to head ho alone, which was exactly what Chen Feng hoped for.
Catching the cab together with them by the street, a taxi finally ca after a few minutes, Chen Feng flagged it down for them. They insisted on waiting for the other three guys and let Chen Feng take the cab first.
