"What kind of person is this? I’ve never t such a crazy woman."
After Chen Feng pulled Jin Xinyan away, she couldn’t help but start muttering. She had never encountered a woman as rude and impolite as Tang Yue.
"She’s always been bad-tempered, and now her husband is cheating on her, so they’re probably going through a divorce. It’s just our bad luck to run into her now."
After explaining, Chen Feng consoled her, "It’s not worth getting angry because of soone like that. Let treat you to milk tea."
This was the first ti Chen Feng offered to buy her sothing, and even though it was just a cup of milk tea, Jin Xinyan was very happy, her attention imdiately diverted.
"Sure. I know there’s a milk tea shop not far from here, and it’s really good."
Jin Xinyan imdiately perked up and dragged Chen Feng to the milk tea shop.
Twenty minutes later, they each left the milk tea shop holding a cup of milk tea.
The business at this milk tea shop was so good that even though it wasn’t peak ti, they still had to wait for over ten minutes.
"The milk tea is tasty, but it has too much sugar. I’m really afraid of getting diabetes if I drink too much. You should also drink less in the future."
Chen Feng didn’t usually drink milk tea, largely because he thought it was a bit expensive. Even when he later had money, he didn’t develop a habit of drinking it. Now that he tried it, he found it quite good, but still thought it wasn’t very healthy due to its high sugar content.
"I only drink it occasionally. If you hadn’t offered, I wouldn’t have had any. But I do like milk tea. It’s just like you said, it’s too sweet, and drinking too much can make you gain weight and isn’t good for your health."
As they drank and walked, they slowly reached where Chen Feng had parked.
By now, it was almost nine o’clock in the evening, and after hesitating slightly, Chen Feng said, "I’ll take you to where I used to live."
"Where you used to live?" Jin Xinyan imdiately beca interested and curiously asked, "What kind of place is it? Is it far from here?"
"Not far, about a ten-minute drive. Do you want to go?"
Chen Feng respected her choice and asked about her willingness. If she said no, Chen Feng wouldn’t take her.
But that possibility was very low.
As expected, Jin Xinyan nodded imdiately and said, "Of course. Take there."
So, they got in the car, and Chen Feng drove her to East Lake Villa.
Chen Feng had the cleaning lady co over regularly each week to tidy up. A few days ago, Lin Yujiao stayed here.
After parking at the entrance, he led Jin Xinyan out of the car.
The sensor light at the door automatically lit up. Chen Feng took out the key and opened the villa’s door. With a curious expression on her face, Jin Xinyan followed him inside.
They walked through the yard lit by solar-powered street lights, reached the main door of the villa, and Chen Feng took out the key again to open it. He then turned on the lights by the entrance, and the living room was instantly bright.
"This villa is really nice. The yard design and the furnishing in the living room are very sophisticated. Did you arrange all this?"
Jin Xinyan didn’t show too much amazent at the villa, but she comnted and expressed her liking for it.
"No. I bought this villa from soone else. I rented it for a while before I bought it."
"How much did you pay for it?" Jin Xinyan asked naturally.
"More than 10 million." Chen Feng responded casually.
"Impossible. This place is so close to East Lake, and it was only more than 10 million?" Jin Xinyan, being a local from Xiu Zhou, was obviously familiar with the property prices.
Chen Feng had to explain slightly, "Originally, they were asking for 20 million, but we settled on 18 million. At that ti, they urgently needed money, so I got a good deal."
Only then did Jin Xinyan understand and nod, saying, "20 million sounds about right. After all, the villa is a bit small, but it’s exquisite and in a good location."

Chen Feng invited Jin Xinyan while he sat down first. He casually turned on the TV with the remote, and the room beca lively.

Chen Feng’s words left Jin Xinyan speechless; they were too blunt and lacked any romantic flair.
"I’m not staying here tonight." Jin Xinyan said with a hint of arrogance, "My mom knows I went out for dinner with you tonight. If I don’t co ho, it’s basically a dead giveaway. Plus, staying in a strange place like this suddenly feels uncomfortable. A hotel is more comfortable."
Chen Feng wrapped his arm around her waist and laughed, "No need to stay overnight. I’ll take you ho in an hour or two."
Hearing this, Jin Xinyan’s cheeks flushed slightly as she playfully retorted, "Really? What do you take for?"
Chen Feng laughed, "A woman, of course."
As he spoke, he leaned slightly towards her, pressing her onto the sofa...
Around 11 p.m., they finally left East Lake Villa, and Chen Feng drove her ho.
"My mom ssaged again, asking if I’m with you. What should I say?"
In the passenger seat, Jin Xinyan, looking a bit fatigued, asked Chen Feng while holding her phone.
"That’s up to you. You can just tell her you’re with , it doesn’t matter." Chen Feng said casually, focusing on driving.
Chen Feng’s attitude left Jin Xinyan with a bit of disappointnt and a slight mood, but she wasn’t the type to act rashly. She just playfully said, "Then I’ll tell my mom the truth and say that we’re already dating."
Chen Feng chuckled, "Sure. You can say I’m your boyfriend now, I don’t mind. But let remind you, pretending to be your boyfriend is fine, but if it cos to marriage talks, I’m not ready for that."
"What do you an? We’re like this now, and you still don’t consider yourself my boyfriend? More pretending?" Jin Xinyan pretended to be angry, "And who’s talking about marriage? Do you think I really want to marry you?"
"Alright. We’ll say we’re a couple now, but I still want to remind you, I’m not the only woman in my life."
Chen Feng’s words were infuriating, making her clench her teeth, wanting to bite him.
However, she had known about this before; she was the one jumping into the fire. Could she really bla him?
Jin Xinyan took a deep breath to calm herself, replied to her mom stating she would be ho soon.
"You’d better not take directly ho, in case my parents or the neighbors see. Just drop at that Western restaurant from before; my car’s parked there, and I’ll drive myself back."
"Alright!"
Chen Feng agreed readily, which made Jin Xinyan feel a bit bitter inside.
Eventually, Chen Feng dropped her at the parking spot. He didn’t get out of the car; he just watched Jin Xinyan drive away, before leaving himself.
