Chen Feng hesitated for a mont before heading in that direction. Not long after, the singing abruptly stopped, and at the sa ti, his phone emitted a busy signal.
Without a doubt, Jin Yongnian’s phone should be in that car.
Chen Feng dialed again, and the familiar tune of "Jasmine Flower" rang out once more, but this ti it was turned off even faster, solidifying his suspicions.
He trusted his intuition greatly; at this mont, he didn’t sense any danger, so he didn’t hesitate much and ran directly towards the car.
He quickly reached the car, just as it began trying to start, but clearly couldn’t ignite.
Through the window, Chen Feng saw Wang Qingxi sitting in the driver’s seat, and two people tied up in the backseat, one of whom was Jin Yongnian.
Seeing this situation, Chen Feng understood completely—the yellow-skinned person trying to drive the car was undoubtedly an enemy, not a friend.
He didn’t hesitate, as his intuition told him he wasn’t in danger.
So, Chen Feng quickly crouched down, circled to the driver’s side, and yanked open the car door. Surprisingly, it opened easily; the opponent apparently forgot to lock it.
Wang Qingxi had been trying hard to start the car, completely unaware of Chen Feng’s swift approach and the unlocked door.
By the ti he reacted, Chen Feng had already yanked him out of the car and landed a solid punch to his nose, producing a crunching sound as his nasal bone shattered, causing a blood spray and a painful cry, leading his head to fall backward in a daze.
But Chen Feng grabbed him with both hands again, slamming his head violently against the car body, creating a loud bang, and denting the car. Wang Qingxi fainted like a limp noodle.
Only then did Chen Feng casually toss him to the ground and imdiately opened the rear door to untie Jin Yongnian.
Jin Yongnian removed the cloth from his mouth himself and imdiately hugged Chen Feng, crying out loud in excitent.
"Wuwu, Chen Feng, I never expected you to co to rescue . I’ve accepted you as my son-in-law! Wuwu, true feelings are seen in adversity; you are truly my good son-in-law. Wuwu, thank you so much. I thought I was dood this ti, but you ended up saving ."
Chen Feng couldn’t stand being held and cried on by an older man, especially with that strange sll on him.
Chen Feng promptly pushed him away and said, "Enough. Quickly help untie the translator too."
"Ah, right! It’s my fault for involving him in this."
Jin Yongnian ca to his senses and hurried to untie the translator.
Now, the unfortunate translator hugged Jin Yongnian and cried out loud as well. Compared to Jin Yongnian, this ti the translator truly had a near-death experience, escaped narrowly, leading to understandable emotional intensity.
Jin Yongnian reacted similarly; driven by the translator’s emotions, he cried again.
Two grown n hugging and crying together were understandable, yet Chen Feng looked on with annoyance, opting to not see it.
Soon after, Qin Zhen appeared beside Chen Feng, looked at Wang Qingxi on the ground, unconscious, then at the two crying n in the car, asking sowhat annoyedly, "Are these the people to be rescued in the car?"
"Mm, yes."
"You’re quick indeed. But why is there only one kidnapper?"
Qin Zhen glanced at Wang Qingxi on the ground, then at two corpses lying not far away, guessing, "These two on the ground must be kidnappers too, right? How did they die?"
Chen Feng was a bit puzzled, shrugging and shaking his head, "I don’t know either. When I ca over, this guy was fiercely trying to ignite the car, but it just wouldn’t start, then I intervened and took care of him."
Qin Zhen looked at the miserable state of the man on the ground, clicking his tongue slightly, "You’re pretty heavy-handed."
"This guy is obviously one of our compatriots, yet he colluded with those people from the Middle East to kidnap and extort our fellow countryn businessn. It’s mild that I didn’t kill him directly."
Qin Zhen sowhat agreed, nodding, "True."
The two stood here chatting for a few minutes before Jin Yongnian and the translator finally cald down and ca out of the car.
The translator expressed heartfelt gratitude to Chen Feng and introduced himself as Mr. Wang.
Jin Yongnian then inford the three of Wang Qingxi’s identity, leaving them all shocked, as none expected him to be an old employee from his company.
Soon after, two embassy staff arrived; upon recognizing their identities, Jin Yongnian and Mr. Wang translator expressed another wave of gratitude.
The embassy staff had already made the ergency call, awaiting the local police’s arrival.
Now that the people were rescued, Chen Feng actually wanted to return to the country directly. But given the kidnapping case occurred here, seemingly involving a shooting, it wouldn’t be appropriate to leave like that.
Fortunately, with embassy staff present, Chen Feng wasn’t worried.
A few minutes later, the Red Demon Country police finally arrived.
Next, coordinating with the embassy staff, the group first headed to the local police station to record statents.
They stayed at the police station for nearly an hour before coming out.
The priority was, of course, to first send Jin Yongnian and Mr. Wang translator to a hotel to shower and eat.
Neither of them had showered for two days nor eaten much, emitting a strange odor.
At the hotel Chen Feng was staying, he generously booked a double room for them and thoughtfully had the hotel buy each so new clothes.
Anna had already returned to the hotel earlier, and when Chen Feng ca back, she eagerly asked about the rescue process.
Chen Feng shared the story as it was, without embellishnt, leaving Anna sowhat dissatisfied.
"These kidnappers were too unprofessional, being handled by you so effortlessly, truly a failure."
Anna’s sentint was understandable to Chen Feng, as he himself felt the rescue seed rather like child’s play, too simple and easy.
However, others might not know, but Chen Feng did; it likely ca down to his good luck. The mont he decided to rescue the people, the kidnappers were dood for bad luck.
The reality certainly confird this.
"Perhaps it’s just fate, letting resolve this matter effortlessly," Chen Feng mused.
"Your luck is indeed incredible!"
Anna also looked at him with so admiration. Initially thinking there would be so danger, now it seed at most there was suspense without real risk. This left her feeling sowhat disappointed.
Anna inherently possessed a spirit of adventure, otherwise she wouldn’t have run all the way to Rabbit Country for further study.
Unfortunately, with Chen Feng, who piqued her interest sowhat, it seed at most there was suspense without real risk, similar to their previous experience in Gentleman Country.
