The two won each managed to gather most of a bucket of potatoes. They carried them over to the tricycle. Seeing that they seed sowhat struggling but still within their limits, Chen Feng didn’t intervene.
You could say these two won were really asking for it.
This ti they harvested around seven to eight hundred pounds of potatoes. There were eight large bags filled with them, plus the hundred pounds or so carried directly from the bucket to the tricycle by the two won.
This was a bumper harvest.
Looking at the tricycle full of potatoes, the two won felt a sense of achievent and finally rembered to take photos with their phones to post on social dia.
Once they finished their photo shoot and selfies, Chen Feng pedaled the heavy tricycle ho, with dad Chen Dayong pushing from behind.
Seeing this, the two won hurriedly joined to push the bike, and once it reached the main road, it was much smoother and easier.
On the street, the four of them encountered quite a few people. For so familiar folks, Chen Dayong even gave away so potatoes, varying in amount.
By the ti they reached ho, around dozens of pounds had been given away.
At the doorstep, Chen Feng was surprised to see two unexpected visitors.
They were both his middle school classmates, both n from Qingpu Town, and their nas were quite easy to rember: one was Zhong Mingjie, the other was Xie Xiaohua.
Zhong Mingjie was the class leader back then, consistently achieving good grades. His performance in the entrance exam was even better than Chen Feng, securing a spot in the best private high school in the county. Later, it was heard that he got admitted to a prestigious university in Beijing, but beyond that, Chen Feng lost touch.
On the other hand, Xie Xiaohua was notoriously bad at academics, but his family was well-off. His dad operated a quarry; he didn’t pass the entrance exam but paid his way into the ordinary high school, Third Middle School. Naturally, he didn’t pass the college entrance exam and directly went into business, seemingly opening a shop in Shanghai, settling down, marrying, and having children there. Chen Feng didn’t dig too deep into what kind of business he did, as ti had estranged their relationships.
Their sudden visit definitely caught Chen Feng off guard.
When Chen Feng approached, they were standing at his front door smoking and chatting.
Upon seeing Chen Feng’s tricycle car appear, their eyes were instantly drawn to him—it was hard not to notice Chen Feng’s unique entrance, clad in decade-old clothes, riding a tricycle, especially with the presence of two stunning beauties like Wu ngting and Guo ngyao behind him.
"Chen Feng, long ti no see. Do you still rember us?" Forr class leader Zhong Mingjie was the first to react, coming over to greet Chen Feng with a smile.
Truth be told, Chen Feng didn’t recognize them at first, but standing at his doorstep, and with Xie Xiaohua sporting a distinctive black mole above his left eyebrow, Chen Feng imdiately recognized him. This naturally led to the realization of who Zhong Mingjie was after years of not seeing each other.
"Class leader, you still look refined, but your hairline is a bit high," Chen Feng joked.
Zhong Mingjie laughed and brushed his hairline, saying, "Chen Feng, long ti no see, besides putting on so weight, your sharp tongue still hasn’t changed."
Xie Xiaohua finally pulled his gaze away from the two won and grinned, teasing Chen Feng, "Fengzi, how should I address the two beauties behind you? Which one is your girlfriend?"
Raising an eyebrow, Chen Feng said, "They’re both my girlfriends."
Xie Xiaohua paused for a mont before he and Zhong Mingjie burst into laughter.
Xie Xiaohua jokingly patted Chen Feng’s arm, "Fengzi, when did you learn to brag? Back in school, besides the sharp tongue, you were quite an honest kid."
At this point, Guo ngyao chid in with a laugh, "Hello, everyone. He’s really not wrong; we both are his girlfriends."
Zhong Mingjie and Xie Xiaohua were instantly dumbfounded, staring at Chen Feng and then at the two won.
"Alright. She’s just joking. She’s my high school classmate, and the other one is my god-sister."
"God-sister?" Xie Xiaohua looked at the excessively beautiful Wu ngting with a strange expression, wishing he could have a dozen young and pretty god-sisters like her.
"Alright. Whatever business you have, co inside and let’s talk."
Chen Feng dismounted the tricycle and welcod his two middle school classmates inside.
He led them to the back room while the two won went to the third room at the back.
After washing his hands, Chen Feng poured each of them a cup of tea, and they sat facing each other.
"Class leader, you didn’t co to to discuss organizing a class reunion, did you?"
Chen Feng asked directly.
Zhong Mingjie shook his head, "Not really. Our classmates are scattered all over the country, so even abroad; it’s hard to gather everyone together."
Xie Xiaohua added, "Our class has had several reunions before, but we couldn’t reach you. Once, we finally did, but you didn’t show up, and subsequently, despite inviting you, you didn’t attend. Eventually, we stopped inviting you altogether."
This was indeed the case; at that ti, Chen Feng was either in Xiu Zhou or didn’t feel like going.

Xie Xiaohua followed up, "Besides catching up with you, an old classmate, there’s actually sothing we’d like your help with. Do you rember Tan Xiaoyu?"
Chen Feng nodded, "I rember, ’Little Fish’, right? What happened to him?"
Tan Xiaoyu was an active classmate back then, a bit hyper and quirky, standing at only five-foot-five in eighth grade, but his personality was likable, and he was well-connected within the class.
With a slightly heavy tone, Zhong Mingjie continued, "He was diagnosed with cancer last month, already in stage three, requiring chemotherapy. The surgery costs are exorbitant; after an initial surgery that depleted his family’s resources, they couldn’t afford further treatnt. His family has two children to support, and both his parents and wife are in poor health, urgently needing help.
His family has started crowdfunding, raising over a hundred thousand, but it’s evidently insufficient. So, our class, led by and Xiaohua, is initiating a charity donation among our classmates. After all, as classmates, we should all give a hand to help Xiaoyu."
