It was around ten in the evening when Chen Feng returned to his ho at Villa No. 8, and Sun Xiaorui was still awake, watching TV in the living room on the first floor as she waited for him to co back.
She just slightly inquired about where Chen Feng had been playing tonight, and after Chen Feng briefly explained, he went upstairs to take a shower.
After Chen Feng finished his shower, the two of them went to bed. Since Chen Feng had been busy the entire day, he didn't ss around with Sun Xiaorui further.
The next day, after finishing his morning exercise, Chen Feng took a shower and had breakfast, and then received a call from Anna.
Anna got straight to the point: "Chen Feng, I hope you can co over to continue hanging out with us. Without you, Vivian and I feel out of sorts. It's more fun with more people; it's lively, and we can fully enjoy ourselves. Don't you think so? You've only been with us for one afternoon, and you're already bailing today. That's not gentlemanly behavior."
Despite Anna's words, Chen Feng still didn't want to go and refused, saying, "I'm not feeling well today, so I don't want to go. I'm really sorry; honestly, my presence shouldn't make a big difference to your experience. Having Xinyan by your side should be enough."
Naturally, Anna didn't believe Chen Feng's excuse of feeling unwell and said, "We're only planning to stay here for two or three days, no later than the day after tomorrow. Considering friends co to your place, you should properly entertain us for a few days, right? That's not exactly the hospitality of you Rabbit Country folks."
Anna's words made so sense, but coming off as a bit forceful, which made Chen Feng a little displeased.
Nonetheless, since Anna had called, refusing again seed unreasonable. After all, if he stayed ho, he would have nothing going on. Accompanying them on an outing might be a bit tiring or troubleso, but it's part of being a good host. It would seem unjustifiable to stay ho doing nothing while not accompanying them.
Moreover, there's Vivian's identity to consider. Although her connections might not matter much to Chen Feng directly, the fact that she sought refuge in Rabbit Country has so connection to him. Plus, Qin Zhen is currently acting as her temporary bodyguard.
Leaving now and putting Qin Zhen in that position felt a bit unkind.
Chen Feng thought about it and eventually said, "How about this; I really can't make it this morning, but I'll co over in the afternoon to accompany you. How does that sound?"
Chen Feng was trying to delay as much as possible.
Anna, being straightforward, said, "Not great, but since you put it that way, I have no choice. Just co by in the afternoon to join us. I'll contact you then. Oh, by the way, check WeChat later."
After saying that, she hung up the phone and soon sent a very direct ssage.

Chen Feng did feel a bit nostalgic about her foreign offerings, but he was wary of complications and wanted to type a refusal. However, Anna sent another ssage soon after.

Seeing her ssage, Chen Feng found it hard to refuse anymore. So people you might never see again after parting ways, making a farewell chance like this sothing that should not be missed, as it's impolite, and could potentially beco a lifelong regret.
So, Chen Feng imdiately deleted the few words he typed, and simply replied with "Okay."
Anna responded with a smiley face.
Their conversation officially ended.
Not long after, Qin Zhen called Chen Feng too, imdiately complaining: "Why did you bail today? If you're not accompanying those two foreign girls, at least accompany . I don't have anyone to chat with over here, and it's really boring. I know you have nothing going on; just co and chat with ."
Chen Feng replied irritably, "Accompanying them is work for you, while for it's just a hassle. You saw it; I was with them from the afternoon till night yesterday. What did I do? Just standing around, mostly just standing there doing nothing, without saying much to them. I might as well lie around at ho."
Qin Zhen replied, equally annoyed, "But shouldn't you be loyal? I'm doing it for work, but also reluctantly. I don't want to accompany them aimlessly either. You're free; can't you just hang out with ?"
Chen Feng, now impatient, replied, "Fine, fine, I'll co over this afternoon to accompany you. But during your mission, you can't chat with all the ti; yesterday afternoon, you barely chatted with ."
Qin Zhen reasonably replied, "Of course, while on a mission, I can't chat with you all the ti, but during free monts, like when they're in the bathroom or trying on clothes, I did chat with you. As long as you're here, I'm at ease knowing we're suffering together standing guard."
"Screw you, you're a real jerk." Chen Feng said and hung up the phone right then.
After breakfast, he lay on the sofa browsing his phone, and the morning quickly passed.
In the afternoon, after having lunch with Sun Xiaorui who got off work, he received another call from Anna. Checking the ti, it was just after twelve, not even one o'clock yet. This clearly seed a bit early.
But Chen Feng couldn't delay further, made so preparations, and drove over.
This ti, Jin Xinyan brought them to the Wetland Park. This place was quite large; they had been playing there all morning, but only covered about a third in a cursory manner.
They planned to continue exploring in the afternoon.
When Chen Feng arrived, he almost got lost inside. Eventually, using map navigation and asking so passersby, he finally found the place and reunited with them.
The afternoon was spent walking and stopping through the Wetland Park, and then taking a boat through the riverways, which wasn't too tiring.
As dusk fell, it was ti to eat again. Jin Xinyan then took everyone to a farmhouse restaurant not far from the Wetland Park.
The food there was plentiful and flavorful; it wasn't overly exquisite, but it had a homade taste that satisfied everyone.
After finishing dinner and resting for a while, they wandered around nearby, took in the night view, and then planned to head back ho.
But just when saying goodbye to Vivian and Anna, Chen Feng suddenly had a palpitation and felt a wave of danger surge through him.
