"You can believe it or not."

Chen Feng saw that she was skeptical again and naturally didn’t bother to recomnd any further.

Chen Feng’s indifferent attitude actually made Lin Wan start to feel a bit conflicted. She really had speculated in the stock market before, but after losing tens of thousands, she decided to stop and swore never to return.

This ti, she was hoping Chen Feng wasn’t lying, but also feared falling back into "gambling," losing money again and potentially spiraling out of control.

Lin Wan suddenly fell silent, browsing her phone for information on the two stocks.

After searching for a while, she couldn’t find many positive news articles on these two stocks.

It could be said the sudden surge in the prices of these stocks was very likely due to manipulations by big players.

If they as small-ti investors followed suit, they might end up with nothing.

So in the end, she resisted the temptation to gamble, resisted the impulse and didn’t take Chen Feng’s advice.

"Sigh! Better forget it. After I lost tens of thousands in the stock market, I made a resolve to bid farewell to the market and never to speculate in stocks ever again."

After a bout of internal struggle, Lin Wan had an expression of pain.

Chen Feng found it sowhat amusing but maintained a serious face and nodded, "You’ve made the right decision there. At the end of the day, the stock market is a casino, and the investors are gamblers. As gamblers, you lose more than you win. Those who win money in a casino are always in the minority. By not entering, you’ll never lose money."

Lin Wan retorted unhappily, "But you’ll also never win money."

"Do you want to win money in the casino?" Chen Feng asked.

Lin Wan rolled her eyes: "Of course, I do. But can you guarantee a win?"

Chen Feng shook his head, "I can’t guarantee that."

"So, let’s just drop it. I don’t want to lose money in the stock market anymore."

"Right, that’s the spirit," Chen Feng comnded.

Lin Wan said irritably, "Don’t talk to about stocks in the future. Aren’t you just tempting to lose more money?"

"How could you bla for that? Besides, I personally have a lot of confidence in the two stocks I recomnded to you. There’s a high chance of making a profit. You really are biting the hand that feeds you."

"You’re the dog."

"You’re really not at a loss here. Alright, I won’t talk to you about stocks in the future."

"That sounds more like it."

Lin Wan nodded in satisfaction, then stood up and said, "I won’t bother with you. I’m going to check on the kitchen."

As soon as she left, Chen Feng was happy to have so peace, took out his phone to scroll through short videos and read so novels, and ti flew by quickly.

Wu ngting was fast at cooking, and in twenty minutes, she had already made five dishes, all full of color, aroma, and flavor.

Most importantly, these were hotown dishes from their Lu City.

"The taste is really good! ngting, your culinary skills are good enough to open a restaurant," Chen Feng sincerely admired.

Wu ngting bead with a radiant smile, modestly saying, "Not at all, it’s just ho cooking."

Lin Wan had already eaten, but upon seeing the five freshly cooked dishes, she couldn’t help but start eating, nodding in praise as she did, "Brother Feng wasn’t wrong, your cooking skills are getting better by the day. They’re more than enough for a restaurant. But Tiantian, why do I feel the food you cooked before wasn’t as delicious as this ti?"

Wu ngting jumped in fright, worried Lin Wan might accidentally reveal that they had already eaten lunch, and quickly sent Lin Wan a warning look, then laughed and said to Chen Feng, "If you like it, eat more. We had a late breakfast, so we can’t eat too much now."

Lin Wan rolled her eyes and quietly continued eating.

"Alright, I won’t hold back then."

Chen Feng had only eaten to about three parts full before, and the experience of eating here was completely different from eating out at a restaurant.

Who knows whether the restaurants out there use sewer oil or indiscriminately add food additives to their dishes, or if the ingredients are substandard and unsanitary.

In any case, it’s always best to eat at ho rather than out.

Chen Feng, on his second visit for a al, did not hold back at all. He picked up his bowl and heartily dug in.

Of course, this had to do with the fact that he had bought these dishes himself.

He felt perfectly entitled to enjoy the al.

Watching Chen Feng eat with relish, Wu ngting was quite pleased. Feeling happy, she helped herself to another small bowl.

Chen Feng, however, ate three bowls of rice in one go, and at least two-thirds of the dishes on the table ended up in his stomach.

Having finished the al, of course, Chen Feng couldn’t just leave imdiately, especially since he had promised to go see the art exhibition with them.

First, he went to the living room to sit and rest, while the two ladies cleaned up the dishes and wiped the table.

Wu ngting went to the kitchen first, washed apples, pears, and grapes for Chen Feng, and brought them out on a fruit plate.

"Co, have so fruit."

Wu ngting warmly called Chen Feng over and personally handed him a pear, saying with a smile, "I get the feeling you’re more a fan of pears."

"Why?" Chen Feng looked at her, slightly puzzled.

Wu ngting laughed and said, "Because I like pears too."

Chen Feng was a bit stunned.

Was that reasoning... a kind of confession?

Over at the dining table, Lin Wan couldn’t help but burst into laughter, "Brother Feng, do you actually prefer apples or pears?"

Chen Feng wondered, "Is there a difference?"

Lin Wan said, "The difference is huge."

"Oh, do tell." Chen Feng asked, intrigued.

Lin Wan confidently explained, "First, there’s a price difference between apples and pears. Generally, apples are more expensive than pears. So many people will often choose apples. Also, apples are rounder in shape than pears, which looks more festive, so psychologically, most people will choose apples. Those who, when faced with a choice of two, choose pears are usually those who march to the beat of their own drum or those who aren’t very materialistic. ngting and you, in my opinion, are such people."

This... actually made so sense.

"Aren’t you a finance student? And you know about psychology too?" Chen Feng said, surprised.

Lin Wan laughed, sowhat embarrassed, and said, "Tiantian told all of this."

Psh!

So Chen Feng’s previous assessnt of her as simple-minded was right.

"ngting, do apples and pears really have all this aning behind them?" Chen Feng said, looking at Wu ngting with a smile.

Wu ngting also laughed sowhat bashfully and said, "I just made it up. It’s not necessarily true. So, do you like pears more like I do?"

Chen Feng replied with a smile, "I like both fruits. Besides, now that I have both in front of , wouldn’t I be a fool to only eat one type? I want to have both."

As he spoke, Chen Feng took the pear from her hand and then grabbed an apple from the fruit plate, taking a bite from each under the astonished gazes of the two won.

"You n really are pigs, wanting everything and never satisfied," Lin Wan said with disdain.

Wu ngting laughed helplessly and asked, "So which do you like more, pears or apples?"

"Do I have to choose one?" Chen Feng asked.

"Yes," insisted Wu ngting.

"Then I might prefer apples a little more."

"Why?" Wu ngting’s eyes widened.

Chen Feng explained matter-of-factly, "Because apples are more nutritious and fill you up more easily. Their food value is higher than pears."

Lin Wan and Wu ngting were both speechless.

"Then go ahead and enjoy your apple. Once you’re done, take us around your place first," Lin Wan urged impatiently.

"How about you start by washing the dishes? Once they’re done, we’ll go," Chen Feng suggested, munching on an apple.

"We’ll wash them tonight," Lin Wan said.

"You’ll wash tonight?" Chen Feng asked.

"Of course it’s... Tiantian who will wash them."

"Isn’t that unfair? She cooked the al, so shouldn’t you wash the dishes?" Chen Feng spoke up for Wu ngting.

"What do you know? She cooked specifically for you, so of course she should wash them. Or you can wash them. Either way, I’m not washing them."

"Fine! You get all the perks. The food was bought by , cooked by ngting, you just eat and then don’t even wash the dishes."

Lin Wan was montarily at a loss for words.
