Leng Zirui casually spat out a number, starting the countdown.
Xu Xia yawned, turning to walk towards her car.

Leng Zirui counted another number.

Xu Xia lifted her purse, preparing to take out her car keys from inside.

The car keys that Xu Xia had tucked in her bra instantly jumped out from her collar, landing on the ground.

Xu Xia gritted her teeth, noticing the keys near her hand. She reached out to grab them.
She missed the keys, as she could not support herself with just one arm. Her body, leaning against the car, slipped down imdiately, her head about to hit the ground.

Leng Zirui exclaid urgently, spreading his arms swiftly, lying back to catch her falling body in his embrace.
Xu Xia, feeling out of balance, fell directly onto his body, initially thinking she was bound to get hurt, but unexpectedly, beneath her was not the hard ground but a body that, although not soft, was at least flexible.
Coincidentally, her head landed right in Leng Zirui’s neck.
This fall turned out to be startling but harmless.
Xu Xia opened her eyes in a fright, seeing a slightly open collar, revealing skin as white as porcelain but with a firm texture.
