"I recently learned this." Seo Fei straightened up, "Wait here, I’ll go now."
She eagerly walked into the kitchen, but upon opening the fridge, she found that there was hardly anything usable inside.
She was never one to enjoy cooking, and the fridge mostly contained convenience foods. Plus, she’d been feeling agitated these past few days, so she hadn’t been in the mood to buy groceries. Looking around, the only thing she could barely make was pasta.
Reluctantly, Seo Fei took the bag of pasta out of the fridge.
She started boiling water, humming a tune, feeling unexpectedly at ease.
At this mont, Seo Fei didn’t realize that by truly deciding to give up on Leng Zimo, she felt much more at ease than she had imagined.
Tang Ming stood in the living room, watching Seo Fei busy in the kitchen through the open door, feeling a rare sense of peace in his heart.
This was the first ti she had ever offered to cook for him.
"Mr. Tang?!" Lawyer Zhang Xing quietly approached his side.
Tang Ming glanced around, "Is this room safe?"
"I checked, and found no devices for eavesdropping." Zhang Xing looked towards the kitchen, lowering his voice slightly, "Won’t there be any issues with your return like this?"
"All those who participated in the operation are dead. They have no evidence against now." Tang Ming smiled gently, "Even if they suspect , they can’t do anything about it."
"Then... will the mission continue?!" Zhang Xing asked.
"I must find out who Eagle is!" Tang Ming took a gentle breath, "Song Yuh is certainly heavily guarded now; we can’t get close. The only way is to get to Eagle and acquire the key he holds."
Zhang Xing nodded slightly, "But Eagle is so well-hidden, it’s unlikely he’ll expose himself easily."
"That’s why I ca back." Tang Ming looked at his watch, "I think they should be arriving about now!"
By this ti, Seo Fei had already brought out the noodles she made, "The taste is so-so, just make do and eat!"
Tang Ming walked to the dining area, sat down at the table, and took the fork that she handed over with his left hand. He picked up a strand of noodles and put it into his mouth. The taste was indeed average, but he ate it with relish, partly because he was truly hungry, and partly because she made it.
For the first ti in ten years, he had a al she prepared with her own hands, a rare occasion.
Seo Fei sat across from him, "Is it hard to swallow?"
"Of course not, it’s delicious." Tang Ming swallowed the noodles, "This is the best pasta I’ve had in my life."
"Nonsense." Seo Fei gave him a sideways glance.
"Really." Tang Ming picked up more noodles with the fork, "Because you made it!"
Seo Fei was taken aback, looking at Tang Ming eating happily across the table, she couldn’t help but be montarily lost.

Outside the Golden Courtyard Community, inside a seemingly ordinary van parked not far away.
"How long has it been?" Leng Zirui lazily played with a candy jar, the colorful fruit candies inside rolled with his movents, making a crisp sound.
Seo Shaochuan glanced at his watch, "An hour."
Leng Zirui popped open the lid of the candy jar, took a piece of candy, and tossed it into his mouth, "Let’s move."
To avoid alerting anyone, Leng Zirui hadn’t installed any surveillance devices in Seo Fei’s room, but that didn’t an he wasn’t concerned about her.
