"Cut it out!"
Xu Xia scoffed and walked out of the kitchen with the plate in hand. She sniffed lightly, unwilling to admit it but had to concede that though she didn’t know how it tasted, it looked and slled quite tempting.
Placing the plate on the dining table, she couldn’t hold back any longer and imdiately reached out to grab a dumpling from the plate.
Smack!
A chopstick lightly tapped her fingers.
Xu Xia retracted her fingers in pain, "What do you think you’re doing?"
Leng Zirui put the microwaved milk on the table, "Never been to kindergarten? Don’t know you should wash your hands before als?"
Xu Xia stuck out her tongue at him, showing her disdain, turned to the kitchen to wash her hands, and ca back out. Leng Zirui had already prepared the milk cup and tableware, so she sat down across from him without hesitation, picked up a chopstick, and grabbed a dumpling, eagerly putting it into her mouth.
The dumpling was perfectly pan-fried, crispy outside, with juicy filling inside.
Leng Zirui picked up the milk cup, "Tasty?"
"Really good, who knew you could cook," Xu Xia said, nodding while eating the dumpling.
"There’s a lot I can do!" Leng Zirui grabbed a chopstick and reached for the plate.
Xu Xia blocked him with her right hand, stopping his chopsticks, and pulled the plate toward herself, "This is mine. You eat that one!"
Having just returned from abroad a few days ago, she’d had enough of breakfast all the ti, now she just wanted so Chinese food.
Leng Zirui raised an eyebrow, "Co on, I’m the one who cooked it!"
Xu Xia guarded the plate, "The ingredients are mine, the pot is mine, the oil is mine, I eat whichever I want!"
"Fine, fine, you win!" Leng Zirui put down the chopstick and picked up a sandwich from the plate.
Just then, his phone rang, and Xu Xia glanced at Seo Shaochuan’s number, standing up to take it on the balcony.
Xu Xia watched him with her eyes, wondering if he really took a photo of her like he said?
"Okay, just like that!"
After the call, Leng Zirui casually stuffed the phone into his pants pocket and turned to the table to continue eating.
Soon, the two, who were already starving, finished their respective als.
Xu Xia imdiately stood up, pushed the empty plate toward him, "Wash the dishes!"
Free labor, why let it go to waste?
Greedy girl, pushing her luck?!
Leng Zirui lazily set down the milk cup in his hand, "I cooked, and now I have to wash the dishes?!"
"You don’t have to wash them!" Xu Xia looked down at him with a charming smile, "If you don’t wash, I won’t go!"
Leng Zirui glanced at her indifferently, "You’ve got scallion in your teeth!"
Xu Xia blushed and hurried to the bathroom to check in the mirror, only to see a neat set of Xiao Bai teeth.
This jerk tricked her again!
As she ca out of the bathroom, she looked sideways at the kitchen, only to see Leng Zirui carrying the tableware in, putting on gloves.
Sweeping her gaze over his pants pocket, Xu Xia’s eyes shifted as she ca up with a plan.
Marching over with an authoritative deanor, she said, "Rember to clean the kitchen, dump the trash..."
While speaking, she quietly reached out her finger toward his pants pocket.
Just as her fingers touched his pants, Leng Zirui swiftly turned, "Why are you touching ?"
Realizing she was caught, Xu Xia didn’t bother to hide anymore, extending her palm to him, "Give the phone!"
