Instead of imdiately diving into work like usual, Leng Zimo walked out of the study and saw Luo Xiaoqian holding hands with Luo Jun as they ca up from downstairs.
Seeing the two of them, Leng Zimo imdiately showed a gentle smile, "So, did you finish the call?!"
"Grandpa and Uncle Godmother all promised they would co to see the performance, you know." Luo Jun ran over, darting into Leng Zimo’s arms, and the little guy stood on tiptoe to look at the wound on his head, "Does Daddy’s wound still hurt?"
"It’s healed, of course it doesn’t hurt anymore." Leng Zimo replied with a smile.
The little guy carefully examined Leng Zimo’s wound, "Daddy’s scar is so cool; it looks like a bow!"
"Really?"
"Really, Mommy, co and see!" The little guy raised his small hand and traced the outline of Leng Zimo’s scar lightly, "The curved bow we saw at the museum today looks just like this."
Luo Xiaoqian ca over and looked at the scar the little one was pointing to, "It really does a bit!"
"Daddy must have been a Great General in his past life." The little boy said with an innocent face.
"Of course, and that’s why in this life Daddy will protect you and Mommy well!" Leng Zimo laughed as he picked up the little one, "Let’s go, our little general, off to the bath we go!"
The family of three walked into Luo Jun’s room together, where Luo Xiaoqian helped the little one undress while Leng Zimo went into the bathroom to prepare the bathwater for him.
After undressing, Luo Xiaoqian led the towel-clad little one into the bathroom, and Leng Zimo handed over a small stool for Luo Xiaoqian to sit on while he personally bathed the little one.
What started as a regular bath eventually turned into a water-fight battle between father and son.
The little guy kept giggling, and the usually serious Leng Zimo also broke into frequent laughter.
Luo Xiaoqian sat nearby, watching his bright smile, her lips curved upward as well.
"Here we go, little General’s soup is ready to be served!"
Leng Zimo lifted the water-drenched little one from the tub, and Luo Xiaoqian wrapped him in a towel.
Setting the little one on the bed, Leng Zimo carefully dried him off, put on his pajamas, and took the hairdryer from Luo Xiaoqian to dry his hair, "Tonight, Daddy has a new story for you!"
"Really, what story?" The little guy asked, tilting his head.
"Let do it!" Seeing the large wet patches on Leng Zimo’s shirt, Luo Xiaoqian worriedly said, "You should change clothes, or you’ll catch a cold."
"It’ll be done soon!" Leng Zimo insisted on drying the little one’s hair completely and then tucked him into bed, "Alright, wait for Daddy a bit, I’ll be back right after I change."
Luo Xiaoqian lay beside the little one, and after a mont, Leng Zimo returned after changing clothes, leaning on the other side, ready to tell a story.
With their company, Luo Jun quickly fell into a peaceful sleep.
Watching the little guy’s adorable sleeping face, Leng Zimo paused the story, clasping his little hand in his large one and kissed it gently.
The little one’s hand was soft and tender, faintly scented with a milky aroma. Each finger was slender and long, appearing more delicate compared to children his age, but in Leng Zimo’s palm, the hand was so small and cute.
Luo Xiaoqian quietly stood up and walked to his side, without urging him to leave imdiately.
Everyone thought he had a cold personality, but beneath his seemingly icy exterior was an incredibly sensitive and ticulous heart, along with intense emotions.
