This guy is acting way too out of the ordinary today, isn’t he?!
Luo Xiaoqian cautiously glanced at Leng Zimo, who was sitting in the driver’s seat, and really wanted to ask if he had bumped his head while driving yesterday. She took a look at his side profile but eventually decided against it.
Regardless, the current Leng Zimo was at least a bit less dangerous than when he was in his tyrant state.
Nonetheless, Luo Xiaoqian glanced at her watch.
"At this ti, isn’t it a bit early? The mall probably hasn’t opened yet?"
It was just past eight o’clock, and normal malls usually opened after nine, didn’t they?
Leng Zimo simply exhaled two words indifferently.
"It’s open!"
Fine, she didn’t bother arguing with him—if he said it was open, then it was open. Leaning back in her seat, Luo Xiaoqian turned to look out the car window.
Today was the weekend, and at this hour, the traffic wasn’t heavy. The Humr quickly arrived at the Xinguang Tiandi underground parking lot, not far from World City.
Xinguang Tiandi is one of Beijing’s most upscale shopping destinations, ho to hundreds of well-known brands from around the world. In Xu Xia’s words, every piece of flooring there exudes a scent of luxury; entering with a credit card that doesn’t have at least six figures is simply humiliating.
Inside the parking lot, there were only a handful of cars.
The cleaning staff were still doing their preparations before officially opening, and it certainly wasn’t yet the mall’s opening ti.
Leng Zimo, however, acted as if he was entering an uninhabited territory, leading her straight into the elevator.
As the elevator doors parted, there were several people waiting outside. Leading them was a woman in her thirties dressed in a black suit. She wasn’t particularly beautiful, but she had a deanor that outshone many celebrities.
Behind her were six tall, young won with decent looks, all dressed in uniform attire.
Luo Xiaoqian was stunned.
No wonder he said it was open; it was clear that these people were here to serve him.
This Leng Zimo, his thods far exceeded her expectations.
Looking at the neatly arranged assistant team that had nearly twenty people, she instinctively tensed up.
The lady leading the group politely bowed to Leng Zimo and with a smile spoke, "Mr. Leng, hello, I am the floor manager of the clothing departnt, Chen Jie. If you need anything, just let know!"
The young girls behind her were clearly professionally trained and didn’t show too much undue attention to Leng Zimo. While a few couldn’t help but glance over, they still behaved appropriately. They didn’t show any signs of contempt or disdain towards Luo Xiaoqian, who was wearing only a cheap T-shirt and jeans standing behind Leng Zimo.
Leng Zimo nodded slightly, "Prepare her a suit for a press conference!"
"Of course!" Chen Jie readily agreed, then raised her hand, "This way, please, both of you!"
Leng Zimo glanced at Luo Xiaoqian, who was sowhat awkward beside him, took her left hand, and then confidently walked between the two rows of assistants like an emperor.
His palm was large and warm, which eased the tension and discomfort in her heart considerably.
Soon, Chen Jie led them to a dressing area surrounded by luxurious beaded curtains and invited them to sit on the sofa. With a smile, she asked, "What would you like to drink? Water, coffee, or juice?"
Leng Zimo simply sat on the sofa and lifted his hand slightly, "Bring her a cup of warm water!"
By the ti Chen Jie had brought over two cups of warm water, the young assistants who had left earlier had also returned.
