Tongtong snorted, quieting her voice as she walked towards the direction of the elevator.
Just as she reached the driveway, she heard the urgent ringing of a bicycle bell from behind. Lu Yu hurriedly pulled her to the side as a bicycle sped by in front of her, the wind from it causing her dress to flutter.
Tongtong quickly raised a hand to press down on the hem of her short skirt, her gaze already filled with resentnt as she looked at the cyclist.
Her gaze landed on a young man in a light-colored suit, who was parking his bicycle in a dedicated bicycle parking zone in the corner of the parking lot.
Tongtong was naturally uninterested in these "poor losers" who rode bicycles to work, so she imdiately withdrew her gaze and headed toward the elevator.
After waiting for a while, the elevator door finally opened.
The two stepped into the elevator and were about to close the door when they heard soone rushing over.
"Wait a mont!"
Tongtong heard the voice but didn’t raise her hand to press the open button.
She wasn’t the kind of person who liked to help others, and in her current bad mood, she certainly didn’t feel like assisting anyone.
Before the elevator door closed tightly, a folder reached in, holding back the door that was about to shut tight. The door sensed the obstruction and automatically reopened, allowing a tall, thin figure to step into the elevator.
A well-fitted light gray suit, the collar of a white shirt standing up, one hand holding a tie, the other clutching a folder—it was Mo Bei coming to work.
"Hello, Assistant Mo!"
Seeing who it was, Lu Yu imdiately smiled and greeted, while gesturing to Tongtong with a look.
As the saying goes, it’s easy to et the King of Hell, but hard to deal with his minions.
Mo Bei was Jiao Yang’s assistant, and if ever offended, he could whisper a few bad words about Tongtong to Jiao Yang, causing potential trouble for her.
Tongtong glanced at Mo Bei’s face but simply ignored Lu Yu’s look.
"Tongtong!" Lu Yu gently tugged on her sleeve again, signaling her to greet Mo Bei, "You probably don’t know Assistant Mo yet. This is our new assistant to President Jiao, very capable in his work!"

More like ability in bed, right?!
Tongtong scoffed internally, reluctantly offering a greeting, "Morning!"
"Morning!" Mo Bei replied blandly, "The eting starts at 9:15, and President Jiao has activities afterward. Please don’t be late!"
What was there to be smug about in the presence of a re assistant?
Tongtong thought dismissively.
As the elevator ascended, Mo Bei tied his tie around his neck, quickly making a neat knot, and straightened his shirt.
When the elevator stopped at the sixteenth floor, Tongtong imdiately swiveled her tiny feet out the door, with Lu Yu bidding farewell to Mo Bei before chasing after her.
"Tongtong, how can you be so ignorant? That’s President Jiao’s assistant. If you say a few kind words to him, maybe he’ll say sothing nice on your behalf to President Jiao, and this matter could be settled. anwhile, you’re ignoring him; do you think he’ll help you out?"
"Oh, please. Trying to please a sicko like that would make sick!" Tongtong stopped in her tracks, "I’m just caught up in a scandal, so what?"
"Caught up in a scandal?" Lu Yu turned serious, "Do you realize how much effort the company put into helping you transition? They’re arranging charity events, creating opportunities for you to connect with the public. And you cause a scene like this at such a critical juncture. Let tell you Tongtong, if you keep up this attitude, there’s nothing I can do for you. You’ll just have to wait to be blacklisted!"
